Flashback McCabe's revenge: Was the Flynn investigation launched as pure retaliation?

Andrew McCabe
Andrew McCabe has long been a controversial figure at the FBI. His position as Deputy Director of the FBI came under intense scrutiny during the Clinton email investigation after it came to light that his wife, Jill McCabe, took nearly $500,000 from Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe to fund her Senate campaign. Of course, Terry McAuliffe is a long-time confidant of the Clinton family and was rumored as a potential running mate for Hillary. But sure, no reason to be wary the McCabe was put in charge of supervising that particular investigation.

But now, at least according to a new report from Circa, McCabe may have other conflicts, including a personal vendetta against former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn, that have not yet been disclosed. According to Circa, Flynn apparently enraged McCabe a few years back after he intervened on behalf of an FBI Special Agent, Robyn Gritz, who had accused McCabe and other top FBI officials of sexual discrimination.

Honduras election turmoil has people protesting in the streets just as they did after US-backed coup in 2009

Honduras riot
© Edgard Garrido / ReutersA supporter of presidential candidate Salvador Nasralla walks on a street during a protest caused by the delayed vote count for the presidential election at Villanueva neighborhood in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, December 1, 2017.
The US-educated Honduran president, Juan Hernandez, who supported a Washington-backed coup eight years ago, has been leading his country to bloodshed by cracking down on protests against the election fraud he allegedly staged, experts say.

Hernandez, who has been Honduras' president since 2014, was one of the lawmakers in 2009 to support the ouster of President Manuel Zelaya over his seeking a referendum on re-election. Ironically, now he himself faces accusations of trying to hold on to power.

An alumni of the State University of New York, Hernandez is said to have established close relations with White House Chief of Staff John Kelly, from the time Kelly was the head of US Southern Command and the Department of Homeland Security.

Now his government struggles to contain large-scale protests, akin to those that rocked the country after Zelaya's ouster, after the opposition alleged fraud in the election vote count.

The incumbent president was trailing opposition candidate, Salvador Nasralla, by a large margin in a preliminary count of the 26 November elections, when the country's electoral commission said that Hernandez was closing in on his rival.

Trump has a plan for peace in the Middle East but he can't reveal it, says Zionist go-fer Jared Kushner

President Donald Trump's push for a peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinians stems from a belief that his broader goals of stopping Iranian aggression and Islamic extremism will not be possible without it, presidential adviser Jared Kushner said in a rare public appearance on Sunday.

Comment: What a bizarre thing to say. How would a genuine peace in Palestine contribute to the US-Saudi-Israeli aggression against Iran (because that's what it is) and stop the Saudi and Gulf states' funding of wahabism/yihadism?

"If we're going to try to create more stability in the region as a whole, you have to solve this issue," Kushner told Middle East experts gathered at the Brookings Institution's Saban Forum. Trump, he said, "sees this as something that has to be solved."

But nearly a year after Trump named Kushner, his son-in-law and senior White House aide, as point person for what he called "the ultimate deal," there has been no public indication of where the initiative is heading.

Presumed participants in the plan - described by officials as a comprehensive package including Israel, the Palestinians, Arab governments and international backers - have been kept similarly in the dark, leading to widespread speculation and anxiety.

Comment: Jared Kushner is Trump's biggest liability:

Jared Kushner can't pass his security clearance investigation - he omitted 100 'foreign contacts'

Jared Kushner
© Drew Angerer, GettyKushner remains in the White House despite multiple failures to disclose his foreign contacts and business assets.
Jared Kushner is a security risk embedded in the West Wing since he still hasn't passed a comprehensive background investigation required of anyone seeking a permanent security clearance-and no one will question the president's decision to put his son-in-law in a crucial government role, experts and officials told Newsweek.

President Donald Trump's senior adviser has been working under an interim security clearance nearly a year into the administration, as investigators continue to assess his trustworthiness and analyze his web of active foreign investments, according to two sources with knowledge of the status on Kushner's clearance.

Kushner's permanent security clearance was stalled because he initially omitted 100 foreign contacts before revising his forms three times. Kushner's complicated business interests are also being considered after he repeatedly revised financial disclosure forms. But experts said the sheer volume of his ongoing ties to foreign investors is enough to deny anyone access to classified information.

"The real question is, Why hasn't his clearance been denied?" said Alan Edmunds, a senior attorney specializing in security clearance law at the Edmunds Law Firm. "Of course, the real reason it hasn't been denied yet is because nobody has the moxie to tell the president his son-in-law can't be working in the White House, even though he shouldn't be."

Comment: Oh, no idea. Maybe it has something to do with this? You don't mess with 'the Lobby' in the US! And what nationality do we suppose are most of those foreign contacts that Jared has and is so reluctant to disclose? How about their religious views?

Comment: The Newsweek article includes a video pointing out that Kushner has denied any collusion with Russia. But as we wrote here:
Forget about Russia. Zionist gopher Jared Kushner is the link to the real foreign intervention in the Trump administration. But Trump has nothing to worry about being impeached for this one, because the entire political class in the US is subservient to Israel. And anyone attempting to attack Trump for putting "Israel First" will be labelled an anti-semite faster than you can say 'chutzpah'.

Russian spies everywhere! British cybersecurity experts warn U.K. agencies to stop using Kaspersky antivirus software

Kaspersky Lab logo
British cybersecurity experts have warned U.K. government agencies not to use antivirus software produced by the Russian firm Kaspersky Lab.

The head of the National Cyber Security Center, Ciaran Martin, said in a letter dated December 1 that "Russia is acting against the U.K.'s national interest in cyberspace."

He cautioned that "a Russia-based provider should never be used" for the security of vital systems.

The statement stopped short of urging the public to stop using Kaspersky products.

In September, the U.S. government barred agencies from using Kaspersky products after expressing concern that the company could have links to the Russian government or Russian spy agencies.

Comment: Fake news. What happened was:
According to US media reports in October 2017, an employee from the National Security Agency (NSA) elite hacking unit lost some of the agency's espionage tools after storing them on his home computer in 2015. The media jumped to blame Kaspersky Lab and the Kremlin.

Following the reports, the company conducted an internal investigation and stumbled upon an incident dating back to 2014. At the time, Kaspersky Lab was investigating the activities of the Equation Group - a powerful group of hackers that later was identified as an arm of the NSA.

As part of Kaspersky's investigation, it analyzed information received from a computer of an unidentified user, who is alleged to be the security service employee in question. It turned out that the user installed pirated software containing Equation malware, then "scanned the computer multiple times," which resulted in antivirus software detecting suspicious files, including a 7z archive.

"The archive itself was detected as malicious and submitted to Kaspersky Lab for analysis, where it was processed by one of the analysts. Upon processing, the archive was found to contain multiple malware samples and source code for what appeared to be Equation malware," the company's October statement explained.

The analyst then reported the matter directly to Eugene Kaspersky, who ordered the company's copy of the code to be destroyed.

On Thursday, Kaspersky Lab issued another statement concerning this incident following a more extensive investigation. The results of the investigation showed that the computer in question was infected with several types of malware in addition to the one created by Equation. Some of this malware provided access to the data on this computer to an "unknown number of third parties."
So he installed the pirated software, which contained the malware and after scanning the files, that information was sent to Kaspersky for analysis. Isn't that what's supposed to happen when you scan for viruses and one is detected? Somehow they equate that to "theft of information" which isn't the case here since he initiated the scans and being part of an "elite hacking unit" should well know how that all works. Sounds more like the work of a sloppy employee.

Besides the "it's Russian" nonsense, the real reason they won't want you using it is that they then can't hack you or at least have a hard time with it:
There is fear mongering, without any evidence, that Kaspersky may cooperate with the Russian government. Similar accusations could be made about any anti-virus product. U.S. and British spies systematically target all anti-virus products and companies:
The British spy agency regarded the Kaspersky software in particular as a hindrance to its hacking operations and sought a way to neutralize it.
...
An NSA slide describing "Project CAMBERDADA" lists at least 23 antivirus and security firms that were in that spy agency's sights. They include the Finnish antivirus firm F-Secure, the Slovakian firm Eset, Avast software from the Czech Republic, and Bit-Defender from Romania. Notably missing from the list are the American anti-virus firms Symantec and McAfee as well as the UK-based firm Sophos.
That the NSA and the British GCHQ did not list U.S. and British made anti-virus products on their "to do" list lets one assume that these packages can already be controlled by them.

Russian Media Holds a Mirror to American Society: The US Elite Don't Like It

RT Television
RT (Russia Today): broadcasting into the heart of a psychopath-occupied America
The "media war" between the United States and Russia, unfolding over the past month or so, may not subside anytime soon.

It all began when the US Justice Department announced in September that the Russian channel RT should be registered under the Foreign Agents Registration Act (1939).

Comment: RT is doing a service to the American people, if only they would listen. RT is attempting to highlight the truth of what America has become today and the nature of the people that rule over that once 'shining city on a hill'. This self-styled 'elite' in America appear to be determined to lock the American people down into a perpetual state of ignorance and apathy at a time in history when mitigation of the unprecedented threats to the public good (including from the US elite itself) absolutely requires an awake, aware and socially and morally conscious population.

Undisclosed before UN vote: Jared Kushner led a foundation that funded illegal Israeli settlements

Kushner
© ReutersmediaJared Kushner
Jared Kushner failed to disclose his role as a co-director of the Charles and Seryl Kushner Foundation from 2006 to 2015, a time when the group funded an Israeli settlement considered to be illegal under international law, on financial records he filed with the Office of Government Ethics earlier this year.

The latest development follows reports on Friday indicating the White House senior adviser attempted to sway a United Nations Security Council vote against an anti-settlement resolution passed just before Donald Trump took office, which condemned the structure of West Bank settlements. The failure to disclose his role in the foundation - at a time when he was being tasked with serving as the president's Middle East peace envoy - follows a pattern of egregious omissions that would bar any other official from continuing to serve in the West Wing, experts and officials told Newsweek.

Comment: Forget about Russia. Zionist gopher Jared Kushner is the link to the real foreign intervention in the Trump administration. But Trump has nothing to worry about being impeached for this one, because the entire political class in the US is subservient to Israel. Best of the Web: Why Flynn's plea exposes the nonsense that is the 'Russiagate' conspiracy

Flynn plea deal
President Donald Trump's short-lived national security adviser, Michael Flynn, pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI. Most US media jumped on the plea as proof of Trump's collusion with Russia. Actual documents, however, tell a different story.

A court document signed by special counsel Robert Mueller, dated Thursday, specifies two instances of Flynn telling FBI investigators things that were not true. They relate to two conversations he had with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak, in December 2016.

In the Statement of Offense signed by Flynn at his court appearance on Friday, he admitted to acting on instructions from a senior "Presidential Transition Team" (PTT) official, prompting breathless speculation if that was Trump himself, his son-in-law Jared Kushner, or someone else altogether. The one question nobody seems to be asking is, "So what?"

It is intuitively obvious to even the most casual observer that Flynn's "crime" is a procedural one: he told FBI investigators he hadn't done a thing that he actually did. But was the thing he did - namely, speak with the Russian ambassador to the US - against the law? Not really.

Fake News outlet Washington Post misleads readers on GOP tax reform bill — then Brit Hume smacks them with facts

Brit Hume smacked the Washington Post with facts after the publication seemingly misled its readers on the Senate's tax reform bill.

What happened?

In a story published on Wednesday, the Post minimized who would receive tax cuts in the reform bill and how much taxes would go down. What's more, the story said a significant chunk of Americans - 38 percent - would pay the same taxes as they do now or receive a tax hike because of the bill.

Comment: Nice try, Wapo. Unfortunately, there are still people out there who can read into the details of the information and figure out that you are nothing but Very Fake News. Trump's tax bill may or may not be a good idea, but whichever way one wishes to argue, they must do it with facts and honest logic.
