Ukraine and its sponsors only see Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics as a source of money, the former Russian president has said

Ukraine is fighting for Donbass because of the region's vast natural resources, which Kiev and its foreign backers want to exploit, former Russian president Dmitry Medvedev said on Friday.

The Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, which officially joined Russia together with Kherson and Zaporozhye Regions in the fall of 2022, are "completely alien" to Ukraine in terms of culture, Medvedev wrote on Telegram. The reason why the Kiev authorities are trying to get them back so desperately, he explained, "is trivial: money is needed."

"The criminal clique" of Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky, which "has stolen so heavily,"has led the country's economy to "disaster," while Kiev's backers in the US and the EU have also "spent a lot" on aiding Ukraine during conflict, which "irritates" their populations, Medvedev, who serves as deputy chair of the Russian Security Council, also pointed out.

Employees are being pushed to commit terrorist acts or pass sensitive data to Kiev, Rodion Miroshnik has claimed

Ukraine is exerting pressure on staff at the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant in Russia, with threats to kill their family members if they refuse to cooperate with Kiev, senior Russian diplomat Rodion Miroshnik has claimed.

"A lot of families have been separated" during the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, and Kiev is trying to take advantage of this, Miroshnik, who is tasked by the Moscow's Foreign Ministry with collecting evidence of Ukraine's war crimes, told RIA Novosti on Saturday.

Kiev's security agencies are deliberately looking for relatives of staff members at the power plant who remain on Ukrainian territory, Miroshnik said.

They then use threats against family members, "to put pressure [on the nuclear plant employees] or provoke them to commit a terrorist act or to pass on information in the interests of Ukraine," he claimed.

Ukraine and Israel are trying to spark major regional wars which they believe will solve their own problems at the expense of others, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has said.

The country's senior diplomat made the remarks in an exclusive interview with RT's Anna Knishenko, aired on Saturday. Asked about the prospects of the ongoing crisis in the Middle East devolving into a major regional war, Lavrov suggested Israel was effectively the only party seeking such conflict.

"It seems that the only one who wants such a development is Israel. Probably the Israeli government, which is rather hard politics-wise, and they do not even hide that," Lavrov stated.

Comment: It seems notable that Lavrov should make this comment, now, because this has been apparent for a while.

Furthermore, whilst Russia does call out Israel's diabolical actions for what they are, and it has been openly and diligently been working with the axis of resistance, it often seems as though there's some diplomatic restraint with regards to its commentary on, and its relationship with, Israel.

Some analysts think that this may be because of the hundreds of thousands of Russian-Jews who, in the event of a serious conflict, may wish to return.

Either way, it remains to be seen whether this marks the beginning a stronger Russian diplomatic stance towards the US-Israel's maleficent schemes for the Middle East:

Comment: Iranian assassins roaming freely? The source is the FBI, the same agency which supports the Biden administration. Par for the course there also has to be a dig at China to perhaps rally conservative voters towards a future war scenario with China.


In Colorado, armed Venezuelan prison gangs have seized control of entire apartment complexes, and the overwhelming number of illegal aliens across the country has pushed some local governments to the brink of chaos.


What's evident is that Democrats have abandoned the American people (hence why former Democrats, such as Elon Musk and Robert F. Kennedy Jr., jumped ship and now support Trump). Their top priority is to give amnesty to more than ten million illegal aliens.

The situation is sufficiently dire for those in the West that Russia is now even offering a new temporary residence visa for people trying to escape 'destructive neo-liberal ideals'.

Donald Trump has warned that Mark Zuckerberg and anyone else who illegally interferes in the election will be jailed for life if he wins the presidency.

The claim appears in a new book written by Trump called Save America that is due to be published next week.

Trump says that the Facebook founder will "spend the rest of his life in prison" if there is proven meddling.

Zuckerberg's Facebook played a key role in censoring the Hunter Biden laptop story before the 2020 election based on fake claims that the story was a 'Russian disinformation' operation, when in fact it was completely true.

Politico reported earlier that Rustem Umerov would try to persuade the US to lift its restrictions on long-range strikes against Russia.

Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov has met with US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin to discuss additional military aid. The visit came amid renewed requests by Kiev for Washington to lift its restrictions on the use of US-supplied weapons for long-range strikes deep inside Russia.

Earlier this week, Politico claimed, citing anonymous sources, that Umerov and Vladimir Zelensky's chief of staff Andrey Yermak would attempt to persuade their American backers to change their minds.

On Friday, the Pentagon's Deputy Press Secretary Sabrina Singh announced:
"Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III held bilateral talks with Ukrainian Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov today regarding Ukraine's ongoing operations [and] security assistance priorities."
The latter include air defense systems, artillery and armored vehicles needed to help Ukraine "build additional combat power." Austin pledged to "continue to build on the strategic partnership between" the US and Ukraine, Singh concluded.

Another topic high on the officials' agenda was the upcoming meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group on September 6. The gathering will see more than 50 of the countries which support Kiev congregate in Ramstein, Germany to deliberate over plans for more military supplies for Ukraine, in order to cover both its immediate and long-term needs.

The Fed's fiat money is the real cause of price inflation

During election years, incumbent presidents are routinely blamed for every societal ill during the previous four years. And almost nothing is riper for the picking than a significant rise in consumer prices. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), prices are currently increasing at a rate of 3 percent year over year and peaked at 8 percent during President Biden's term in 2022.

That is significantly higher "inflation," as the BLS defines it, than American consumers have experienced in decades. But as economically harmful as many of President Biden's policies may have been, no president can cause prices in general to rise. Neither can Congress or "greedy corporations."

Incidentally, "inflation" as an economic term originally meant the creation of new money and credit, not rising prices. Those wishing to confuse the public on which is the cause and which the effect has gradually redefined inflation as rising prices. Check any hard copy Merriam-Webster dictionary printed in the 20th century and see for yourself.

Only the Federal Reserve can cause a general rise in prices and only when it creates new US dollars that didn't previously exist (inflation).

The detention of Pavel Durov is being portrayed as a result of the EU Digital Services Act. But having spent my day reading the EU Services Act (a task I would not wish upon my worst enemy), it does not appear to me to say what it is being portrayed as saying.

EU Acts are horribly dense and complex, and are published as "Regulations" and "Articles". Both cover precisely the same ground, but for purposes of enforcement the more detailed "Regulations" are the more important, and those are referred to below. The "Articles" are entirely consistent with this.

So, for example, Regulation 20 makes the "intermediary service", in this case Telegram, only responsible for illegal activity using its service if it has deliberately collaborated in the illegal activity.
