Podcaster Joe Rogan slammed MSNBC on Tuesday after the leftist media outlet posted a clip of Rogan late last month that made it appear that he praised Vice President Kamala Harris when he was talking about former Democratic Rep. Tulsi Gabbard.

MSNBC's TikTok account posted a clip taken from the Joe Rogan Experience podcast in late July before adding a disclaimer that read, "We have removed an earlier version of this post that incorrectly implied Joe Rogan was talking more about Vice President Kamala Harris. He was referring to Tulsi Gabbard," The New York Post reported. MSNBC's clip of Rogan has since been deleted.

ABC News rejects Kamala Harris' last-minute bid to change Trump debate rules, muted mics will stay

ABC News has declined to adopt Vice President Kamala Harris' request to have wholly unmuted microphones during her Sept. 10 debate with former President Donald Trump — after days of wrangling over what Republicans viewed as Democratic attempts to lay a trap for the GOP nominee.

A network email reviewed by The Post lays out similar rules as those for Trump's June 27 CNN debate against President Biden — including no audience, no pre-written notes or props and muted mics when a candidate is not speaking.

Trump and Harris will be standing on stage and will only be allowed to have a pen, a pad of paper and a bottle of water.

The Republican campaign had insisted the debate — set to be held at Philadelphia's National Constitution Center — follow the same rules as the June showdown with Biden.

However, Harris' team claimed Monday that they wanted both candidates' mics on for the entire 90-minute forum.

The 'significance of the passage of time'

DANA BASH: "You've been Vice President for three and half years. The steps that you are talking about now, why haven't you done them already?"

KAMALA: "I'm very proud of the work we have done."
She was speaking, you understand, but the main thing you noticed was the musical quality of her voice: sonorous, resonant, like one of the more obscure woodwind instruments, an alto clarinet or a basset horn, producing a sound like unto creamy dressing over the familiar word-salad of iceberg lettuce.

It would be ungentlemanly to bang on the particulars of Kamala Harris's CNN interview performance, so I'll proceed. The nocturne was 18-minutes long, all that survived from the 41-minutes CNN actually recorded, so you might wonder a little about the notes not played. The leitmotif throughout was "my values have not changed," meaning, disregard any dissonance you might detect in the velvet honk of my voice. Mind the significance of the passage of time, not the music, Altogether, as nocturnes should, it had a soporific effect.

Update (5:15pm ET): It appears that the US-made F-16 fighter jet, which was handed over to Ukraine earlier this year, was downed by a Ukrainian Patriot air defense system in a friendly fire incident, Ukrainian lawmaker Maryana Bezuglaya said cited by TASS.

"According to my information, the F-16 of the Ukrainian pilot Alexey 'Moonfish' Mes was shot down by the Patriot anti-aircraft missile system due to a lack of coordination between the [military] units," she wrote on Telegram.

The lawmaker criticized the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces for falsely describing the incident as "a crash."

"The culture of lies in the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as in other higher military headquarters, leads to the fact that the system of managing military decisions does not improve on the basis of truthful, consistently collected analytics, but deteriorates and even collapses, as is happening in the other directions," she wrote.

Comment: This is what these poor guys will be going up against, if Zelensky is allowed to carry on with his madness. Check out the maneuvers at 2:38, 4:16 and 5:16. Ukraine's pilots don't have a prayer:

A NATO invasion of nuclear Russia is currently underway, and the world is unaware that it is in World War III, as reported by Megatron (14 August 2024).

The Kursk region of Russia is currently full of NATO weapons, troops, logistics, and more, many of them destroyed. See map, below:

Video footage comes out of dozens of NATO vehicles, air defense systems, tanks and more; even if destroyed and captured by Russian forces in the Kursk Region.

The Kiev forces of about 11,600 under guidance of NATO troops have not managed to conquer the city of Kurchatov and its nuclear power plant. Apparently, President Zelensky used all of Kiev's remaining troops, plus extra Polish (NATO) forces.

Russian General Apti Alaudinov noted that the purpose of invading the Kursk Region was to secure a strong position for upcoming negotiations with Russia. However, with Kiev's and their western masters' defeat, the Kiev Regime signed their own death warrant.

Kiev's losses are more than 2,000.

General Allaudin further predicts that the Kiev Special Operation will be terminated by the end of 2024, with a total victory of the Russian Army, and the surrender of the Kiev Regime and its masters in Washington and London. (Borzzikman Aug 15, 2024)

Borrell: EU focusing on 'Zelensky formula'

Moscow has previously dismissed the plan as entirely "detached from reality".

The European Union currently views Vladimir Zelensky's so-called "peace formula" as the only viable option to achieve a "just" resolution to the Russia-Ukraine conflict, according to bloc foreign-policy chief Josep Borrell.

Zelensky's plan demands a de facto capitulation by Moscow, requiring Kiev to assert control over all territories it claims, along with war reparations and a tribunal for senior Russian officials. Moscow has repeatedly rejected the Western-backed initiative as detached from reality and unworthy of consideration.

Borrell stated at a press conference on Thursday:
"The EU's strategic objective is to achieve a comprehensive, just, and lasting peace in Ukraine, based on the United Nations Charter and international law. Only Zelensky's Peace Formula fulfils this requirement."
Moscow has ruled out any negotiations with Kiev in the near future, accusing it of committing war crimes against civilians amid Ukraine's incursion into Russia's Kursk Region. Previously, Russian President Vladimir Putin indicated he would announce an immediate ceasefire if Ukraine were to renounce its NATO membership ambitions and territorial claims.

US Secret Service to get military support ahead of election - Pentagon

The move comes after the agency came under scrutiny following the attempted assassination of former US President Donald Trump.

The US Secret Service will be provided with additional military support capabilities for presidential and vice presidential candidates ahead of the upcoming election in November, representatives of the agency and the Pentagon announced on Thursday.

US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin has directed US Northern Command to plan and provide additional support and resources for the Secret Service at various locations during the election, according to Pentagon spokesperson Sabrina Singh.

A Secret Service spokesperson said the US Department of Defense had been providing the service with additional assistance, which includes "logistics, transportation and communications, through the 2024 campaign season."

The representative noted that this support had been granted following the assassination attempt on former US President Donald Trump at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13.

Comment: The Trump assassination attempt has paid off richly raising the threshold for maximum control country-wide.

Musk comments on possible US role in Durov arrest

The billionaire made the remarks after journalist Tucker Carlson said it was "hard to believe" Paris didn't consult Washington.

The possibility that the US government may have been involved in the arrest of Telegram founder and CEO Pavel Durov in France earlier this month is "concerning," SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has said. The US-based billionaire previously called on the French government to clarify the nature of their legal grievances with the Russian tech entrepreneur.

The 39-year-old, who is also a citizen of France, the UAE, and St. Kitts and Nevis, was detained last week upon arrival at Paris-Le Bourget Airport. A magistrates court in Paris formally indicted Durov on Wednesday, accusing him of complicity in a number of offenses.

The Telegram founder was released on a €5 million ($5.55 million) bond and was ordered to remain in France until the investigation has concluded.

Commenting on Tucker Carlson's recent interview with internet freedom activist Mike Benz, Musk wrote in a post on X on Friday that it was a "concerning possibility" that Washington may have had a hand in Durov's apprehension.

Comment: A helping hand? Perhaps. The US has its ways and means...and uses them.

US acknowledges Russia's 'incremental gains' in Donbass

Washington has declined to comment on the military value of Ukraine's incursion in Kursk Region.

Washington will not comment on Russian advances on the Donbass front, a senior Pentagon official said on Monday, saying an explanation had to come from Kiev. The spokesman also declined to assess a continuing Ukrainian incursion into Kursk Region.

Ukrainian officials have claimed Moscow would need to move some troops from the east in response to the attack, but the pace of Russian advances does not appear affected. US Air Force Maj. Gen. Pat Ryder, the spokesman for the Department of Defense, was asked during a regular briefing what advice American military officials were giving to Ukraine on the situation.
"I'm not going to get into their planning or our advice as it relates to that, as it's their decision. The Americans are communicating with [the Ukrainians] to better understand what their declared goal of establishing a 'buffer zone' in Kursk Region entails."
He was referring to a cross-border operation by Kiev involving thousands of troops, launched earlier this month. The Ukrainian army has seized some border areas, but failed to advance deeper into Russian territory.

In Donbass, Russian forces have been making "incremental gains," Ryder acknowledged. He declined to estimate how long it would take them to reach Pokrovsk, the city that serves as the linchpin of Ukrainian fortifications and logistics in the Kiev-claimed Russian Donetsk People's Republic. The US official urged the media to direct such questions to the Ukrainians.

The Namibian government has barred the Portuguese-flagged MV Kathrin cargo vessel from entering its territorial waters under suspicions that the ship carries military equipment and "explosive material" for Israel.

"Yes, I have asked Namport via the line ministry to consider the request to not allow the vessel MV Kathrin to dock in our ports. The request was made on Friday," Justice Minister Yvonne Dausab told Namibian daily New Era on 26 August.

"Upon receiving reports that a vessel may be carrying weapons intended for Israel, I addressed a letter to Cabinet, international relations ministry, works ministry, as well as the safety and security ministry, advising and reminding them of our international obligations, not only under the Genocide Convention but also as articulated in the recent advisory opinion by the International Court of Justice (ICJ)," she added.
