Lying weasel Clapper continues lying in interview responding to Trump tweet

clapper
James Clapper, the former Director of National Intelligence, responded on ABC's "The View" Tuesday to President Trump calling him a "lying machine" in a tweet last month.

"What that stems from is an exchange I had with Sen. Wyden five years ago in March of 2013 about a surveillance program," Clapper explained, "and he was asking me about one, and I was thinking about another. So I made a mistake. I didn't lie."

Co-host Meghan McCain pressed Clapper on the issue, arguing that technically Clapper did tell a lie about the NSA program.

"What you're referencing though," she said, "when you're talking about James Snowden (sic) blowing the whistle on the NSA illegally spying. And in 2013 when you were asked about it, you said no, so that is a lie."

Swamp monster Pompeo pretends to care about Iranian human rights

Mike Pompeo
A year ago, then-Secretary of State Rex Tillerson received a memo from a top adviser explaining to the political outsider how things are done in DC when it comes to human rights.

With adversaries of the United States like China, Russia, North Korea and Iran, the memo explained, the human rights violations of those governments should be used to criticize and undermine them to advance US agendas against them. Human rights violations of US allies like Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the Philippines, however, should be overlooked in the interest of maintaining positive relationships with those governments.

For DC insiders, human rights are nothing other than a tool of manipulation and control. They have no intrinsic value in and of themselves as far as these depraved swamp creatures are concerned; they're only valuable insofar as they advance the interests of the US power establishment.

Manchester suicide bomber revealed to have links to Libyan jihadist group with links to UK govt

One year on from the Manchester terrorist attack, the UK government has only just admitted its links to the violent jihadist group which influenced Salman Abedi - the suicide bomber who murdered 22 people.

Manchester suicide bomber Salman Abedi and his father, Ramadan, had long-standing links to Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG). Since the horrific attack in Manchester, it has been revealed that Abedi would visit Libya on the school holidays, fighting alongside his father to topple the Gaddafi regime.

Comment: There is a very high likelihood that this jihadist group was set up with support from Western intelligence agencies, so if there's anyone that should be blamed for the Manchester attack its those agencies which armed and supported the group of which Abedi was a member. Put it simply, the UK government created the terrorist which attacked its own citizens.

LIFG, a group with Al-Qaeda links, has since disbanded after it was ousted from the North African country, leaving the group's leaders as refugees in Turkey - among other countries - according to Dr Mabruk Derbesh, a Libyan academic formerly of the University of Tripoli.

Syrian Deputy Foreign Minister: Pullout of Iranian Forces, Hezbollah units from Syria out of question

The withdrawal of Iranian forces and units of the Lebanese movement Hezbollah from Syria is not on the discussion agenda, Syrian Deputy Foreign Minister Faisal Mikdad told Sputnik.

"This topic is not even on the agenda of discussion, since it concerns the sovereignty of Syria. We cannot let anyone even raise this issue. Those who ask for something like that - and this is definitely not our Russian friends - are considering the possibility of intervention in all parts of Syria, including the support of terrorists in Syria and elsewhere in the region," Mikdad said.

According to the Syrian diplomat, Damascus "highly appreciates" the help of friendly forces from Russia and advisers from Iran and Hezbollah in the struggle against terrorists.

The statements by the United States about its intention to withdraw troops from Syria and replace them with Arab forces are aimed at drawing the Arab countries in direct conflict with Damascus, Mikdad said.

"The main goal of such statements is to pump the money out of the Arab countries. This will force them to pay more to the US treasury, which may be empty. As well as drawing the Arab states in direct conflict, as far as I can guess - with the Syrian government, and this is a dangerous situation," Mikdad said.

EU tires of detrimental relations with US, looks to mutually beneficial future with Russia

European countries are turning to Russia as an ally in their confrontation with Washington over Donald Trump's tariff measures and sanctions spree against Moscow and Tehran. In this context German Chancellor Angela Merkel's visit has marked a potential thaw in EU-Russia relations.

Russia has apparently emerged as a potential EU strategic partner, as the bloc is seeking ways to resist US President Donald Trump's trade policies and Washington's unilateral withdrawal from the 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), commonly known as the Iran nuclear deal.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel's May 18 meeting with President Vladimir Putin in the Black Sea resort city of Sochi has come as a signal of a potential thaw in relations between Moscow and the EU following the bloc's introduction of anti-Russia sanctions over Crimea's reunification with the state in 2014.

Comment: It makes sense from both a geographical and business perspective, because Russia is not only logistically nearer, but it's clear for all to see the US empire has begun to falter, its economy is in tatters, its technology is lagging behind those in the East, its worldwide war-warmongering has led to it eating its own, there is just no profit to be made working with the psychopathic US establishment any longer: Also check out SOTT radio's:

Senior EU official warns Israel 'not to disparage Europe'

With relations between Tel Aviv and Washington at one of their highest points in history after the controversial opening of the US Embassy in the disputed city of Jerusalem, a high-ranking European official has predicted that President Trump's legacy may be scrapped.

During a recent visit to Israel, an unnamed senior EU official warned that Tel Aviv should not underestimate Europe, according to Israel Television News Company's Hadashot TV news bulletin.

"You shouldn't disparage Europe. Look at the numbers: We are still your biggest trade partners. You don't understand that we are under immense public pressure against Israel," the official reportedly said.

Saying that "Trump won't be president forever," the official pointed out that "just like nobody imagined that the Obama legacy would be erased so quickly, it can happen to the other side."

Giant disfigured Macron effigy with bullet in head burned as over 16,000 gather in Paris to protest reforms

An XXL effigy of Emmanuel Macron with a bullet hole between his eyes was burned at a protest against the president's social reforms in Paris. The rally turned violent with demonstrators clashing with police.

A giant effigy of the French leader was apparently spotted at Place de la Nation, the usual place for all sorts of rallies in the capital. 'Macron' had a bullet hole right between his eyes, with blood flowing from it. Demonstrators were then seen burning the effigy.

Comment: The movement against Macron's government's sweeping reforms has been building for some time with union officials deeming it a "declaration of war", even his own cabinet consider him 'arrogant and undemocratic', and by disregarding the idea of a Frexit, he's made it quite clear that the will of the French people is not a priority. Meanwhile he's kissing up to Washington by joining the illegal and failing wars in the Middle East and so making enemies everywhere else too: Also check out SOTT radio's:

Russiagate hoax ringleader John Brennan now in serious legal trouble

Brennan jail
Brennan is alleged to have cooperated with the FBI to plant officials in the Trump campaign and frame Donald Trump with the Russiagate Hoax.

This is not a joke. The American government under Obama actively conspired to interfere in its own election and suppress political rivals. President Trump has been in office for well over a year and the new American government has STILL struggled to remove and punish the figures responsible for interfering in the American election and framing Russia.

James Woods put it best, while smoking a recent Brennan tweet:

Comment: Is there enough justice left in the United States to see guys like John Brennan go to prison for all the harm and shit they've done to this country and to the world? We can only hope so.

Stop

The Mueller inquisition against Trump must be stopped to protect us all

Robert Mueller
The "deep state" is in a deep state of desperation. With little time left before the Justice Department inspector general's report becomes public, and with special counsel Robert Mueller having failed to bring down Donald Trump after a year of trying, they know a reckoning is coming.

At this point, there is little doubt that the highest echelons of the FBI and the Justice Department broke their own rules to end the Hillary Clinton "matter," but we can expect the inspector general to document what was done or, more pointedly, not done. It is hard to see how a yearlong investigation of this won't come down hard on former FBI Director James Comey and perhaps even former Attorney General Loretta Lynch, who definitely wasn't playing mahjong in a secret "no aides allowed" meeting with former President Clinton on a Phoenix airport tarmac.

With this report on the way and congressional investigators beginning to zero in on the lack of hard, verified evidence for starting the Trump probe, current and former intelligence and Justice Department officials are dumping everything they can think of to save their reputations.

Comment: Perhaps what's most frightening here is what Mueller's Deep State would do should Trump successfully put them in the hot seat for the criminals they are. And vanquish the Russiagate narrative nonsense once and for all. Mueller and his ilk are rabidly pathological in their geopolitical and domestic pursuit of domination; the end of Russiagate - even if its resoundingly clear - would just mean a new, ugly chapter in The Deep State Vs. Trump if they thought Trump wasn't doing the imperial thing of spreading sheer chaos around the world.
