The father of Poland's prime minister, who was once a radical anti-communist dissident, slammed Warsaw for turning Poles against Russians, and said coming to terms with Moscow is in Europe's and the world's interest.

Kornel Morawiecki, Poland's oldest senator and father of current Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki has made a series of unexpected statements in a blunt interview with RIA Novosti news agency. "I was very saddened by the fact that Polish government and media, as well as Polish elites are turning Poles against Russians," he said, claiming Russia is also pursuing a similar policy.

"This is very upsetting for our two great nations," Morawiecki Sr. continued. "Our peoples have a very complicated history. Both of us were fighting for hegemony in recent times, and Russia won this battle. Nevertheless, I believe improving Poland-Russia ties is in the interest of our peoples, Europe and the rest of the world."

UK establishment fearful over potential peaceful negotiations between Trump and Putin

Trump Putin
The American establishment is not the only government struggling with President Trump. So is that of the US' closest ally, Great Britain.

According to a report from RT, the London government is alarmed by the prospect of a "peace deal" that might be negotiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin and the American president.

After the time and date of the meeting - that is, Helsinki, Finland on June 16 - was set this week, the Times laid out a piece conveying the fears of unnamed cabinet ministers that a "peace deal" will undermine NATO and compromise European security.

Ideas of "what can go wrong" ranged from the cancelation or downsizing of NATO drills in Eastern Europe to acknowledging Crimea as Russian territory and lifting sanctions against Moscow. One minister even predicted "further provocation by Moscow."

'Russia conquers North America by controlling outcome of Mexican presidential elections' says mainstream crackpot conspiracy theorists

Elections have always been a dirty business: attack ads, sabotage, insinuation and fear mongering run amok as a nation prepares to decide its new leader and its new government. And if you ask US liberals, the problem has worsened worldwide since the 2016 election in America, it's all Russia's fault and Mexico is the latest victim.

The list of countries whose elections Russia has ostensibly manipulated is long but distinguished, but everybody's list is different. Since invading US social media during the 2016 election with Jesus memes and coloring books, Russia has used fake news, bots and cyber intrusion - just a few items in their election meddling toolbag - in Bulgaria, Austria, Norway, Netherlands, France, Germany and the UK, according to Newsweek. If you ask The Hill, 18 countries were meddled in during 2016 alone.

Or ask the Alliance for Securing Democracy (ASD), a sort of anti-Russian meddling task force started by former Project for a New American Century neoconservative and Iraq War architect Bill Kristol, alongside a "who's who of former senior national security officials," according to the Washington Post. ASD claims Russia has meddled in a whopping 27 European and North American countries since 2004. In 2016, that included Montenegro, Italy, Portugal and the US. In 2017: Canada, Denmark, Czech Republic and Moldova.

SOTT Focus: Salisbury Conspiracy of Silence Continues

"Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast" - Alice in Wonderland.

The problem for the British narrative in the Skripal case is that one would have to believe way more than six things.

Let me start with the latest: the taxpayer-funded purchase for more than one million pounds of the homes in Salisbury of the British spy Sergei Skripal and the police officer Detective Sergeant Nick Bailey. This purchase is explained as necessary on security grounds and - some suspect - may be followed by the destruction of both houses and all the evidence therein.

This is difficult to explain in the absence of a state purchase of the Zizi's Pizza Restaurant where Skripal and his daughter Yulia ate what could have very well ended up being their last meal, and where they spent at least as much time as DS Bailey could have been in touch with the pair. Ditto the pub the Skripals visited before repairing for lunch. And anywhere else they went after leaving their door handle on which was smeared in gel form the strangely innocuous Novichok(ish) which killed none of the people who ingested it.

Comment: Nah. Why would the Tories crack down on criminal enterprises in London? London (and the Tories!) would be out of business!

More likely is that the 'Secret Team' was behind this (see Litvinenko and Berezovsky for past form) - which of course doesn't preclude using Mafia to help with the dirty work.

Hersh, of course, could have been implying 'Russian Mafia' in quotes, i.e. Israeli Mossad, but if he was suggesting gangsters and not deep state actors, then he's blowing smoke.

Whoever did this had major behind-the-scenes reach.

Salisbury isn't just any old place: it's like the Mecca, Jerusalem and Constantinople of chemical weapons all rolled into one. Chemical warfare was founded there during WW1; all of the UK's major chemical warfare companies are based there; CS gas - today used by every government on Earth for 'non-lethal' population control - was invented there; all British military forces conduct war drills there; and the UK's specialist chemical weapons division was conducting a drill there at the very time this incident happened.

That's not something a couple of dual-identity schlemiels from Moscow (even billionaire ones) can pull off. That's pinnacle-of-power stuff...

AF witness of Extortion 17 attack on SEALs claims we were lied to and Obama has hell to pay

The families of some of the 17 SEAL Team 6 commandos who were killed in an ambush in Afghanistan during a helicopter flight to help Army Rangers pinned down by Taliban gunmen accused the Obama administration of deliberately endangering their loved ones for political ends.

Now a highly decorated, retired Air Force officer is coming forward, breaking her silence to speak out on what she witnessed in one of the deadliest attacks on Navy SEALs in U.S. history. Her testimony details how the government covered up evidence in the 2011 downing of a Chinook helicopter gunship that killed a total of 38 military personnel in Afghanistan and how the attack that took so many lives could have been prevented if it were not for the restrictions to the military's rules of engagement instituted under the Obama administration.

Post 9/11 Torture Report: UK complicity revealed, so now what?

BushBlair
© APWar Criminals: Former US President George W. Bush • Former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair
The fact that 15 years on from the war in Iraq - resulting in death, destruction and dislocation on a biblical scale - not one person has been prosecuted and held to account in a court of law, surely this stands as an indictment of the rank double standards that underpin the concept of justice in the UK and the US, who were both responsible.

While the role of former US President George W Bush and his cabinet of half-crazed neocons in Washington in the catastrophe visited on the Iraqi people was egregious in the extreme, the decisive part played by the UK government, led at the time by Tony Blair, leaves an even bigger stench. For though the big playground bully may be feared the little cheerleader who stands behind him goading him on in order to win his approval and friendship is disdained.

And yet where the UK is concerned, complicity in Washington's flagrant disregard of international law reached further than its role in Iraq in the post-9/11 period. Because not content with participating in the Bush administration's war in Iraq, the UK, under Blair, was also complicit in the torture of detainees upon their abduction and rendition to detention facilities controlled by the US military in various parts of the world, and also to so-called 'black sites', secret detention facilities run by the CIA in cooperation with third-party states.

Comment: Criminals in high places do not consider themselves as such. They control compromised support systems that ensure this fallacy and create mechanisms to separate themselves from their actual deeds. Those out of the loop, who publicly disagree with the aim or who object to the action, are targets to be ensnared, disenfranchised or eliminated so that the Tony Blairs and George W. Bushes of the world can live and continue without conscience or consequence.

Globalists in panic mode anticipating the 'Putin-Trump summit'

PutinTrump
© AP/Hau DinhPresidents Putin and Trump
Judging by the reaction of the US mainstream media, the world, as we know it, will end in July when Donald Trump meets Vladimir Putin in Helsinki. Pundits fear that Putin and Trump will strike a deal that will ruin the current world order.

But why do they think that a deal between the US president and the Russian leader is a bad thing? Why do they say that leaving Putin and Trump unsupervised in the same room is a "doomsday scenario"? Their reasons have nothing to do with American interests. The US media and its "expert community" is nothing more than an external marketing and PR department for the US Military-Industrial Complex and peace is bad for its business. The Helsinki summit is literally a chance to stop a new Cold War, and therefore is a nightmare for the "Washingtonian swamp" that Trump promised to drain.

The US media wants to portray Trump as someone too inept and too vulnerable to go toe-to-toe with Putin.

Comment: It is hard to know what, exactly, President Trump will discuss or what the outcome of the summit will be. Trump is always full of surprises that some interpret as madness while others see strategy. He picks his moments of clarity, just like he picks his moments of 'confusion'. What you see is what you get.

4th Generation Warfare: Pentagon officially no longer set to 'deter war', now use 'lethal joint forces'

Pentagon
© US ArmyThe Pentagon
The Pentagon has changed the information of its goals and objectives on its website without making any official statement, said the Task & Purpose service that was the first to draw attention to the fact.

Previously, the US Department of Defense qualified as the means of "supplying the military necessary to contain war and protect the security of the country." Such a description can still be found on the Pentagon website in the "Department Information" section. However, the main page indicates another mission now.

Most significantly, the DoD had within its objectives to 'deter war'. This has been removed.

"The Department of Defense's mission is to provide lethal Joint Forces to protect the country's security and maintain US influence overseas," it reads on the website.

Lethal joint forces include '4th Generation Warfare' type combinations of unregistered 'combatants', terrorist groups, illegal formations, narco-cartels, guerrilla armies, etc.

Comment: The US military just made itself bigger, less controllable, more devious and more deadly.

How the drama of Iran sanctions intersects with OPEC-plus

OPEC-MBS
© YourNewsWire/KJN
Major states buying oil from Iran are unlikely to heed the US call to drop imports; key allies want a waiver to avoid sanctions; OPEC, meanwhile, will have trouble boosting output in the short-term; the puzzle is not solved, but there are dark clouds...

History may have registered stranger geoeconomic bedfellows. But in the current OPEC-plus world, the rules of the game are now de facto controlled by OPEC powerhouse Saudi Arabia in concert with non-OPEC Russia.

Russia may even join OPEC as an associate member. There's a key clause in the bilateral Riyadh-Moscow agreement stipulating that joint interventions to raise or lower oil production now are the new norm.

Some major OPEC members are not exactly pleased. At the recent meeting in Vienna, three member states - Iran, Iraq and Venezuela - tried, but did not manage to veto the drive for increased production. Venezuela's production is actually declining. Iran, facing a tacit US declaration of economic war, is hard-pressed to increase production. And Iraq's will need time to boost output.

Goldman Sachs insists: "The oil market remains in deficit... requiring higher core OPEC and Russia production to avoid a stock-out by year-end." Goldman Sachs expects production by OPEC and Russia to rise by 1.3 million barrels a day by the end of 2019.

Is Atlantic Council fascist? Former Ukrainian neo-Nazi leader spoke at NATO think-tank event on enabling Kiev

The Atlantic Council hosted a top Ukrainian official with deep ties to neo-Nazi groups days after he lamented the rise of far-right violence in the country, underlining how the NATO-funded think tank continues to enable Kiev.

Andriy Parubiy, chairman of Ukraine's parliament, spoke at an Atlantic Council event in Washington, DC last week entitled "The Frontlines of Freedom: A Conversation with the Speakers of Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine."

During the panel discussion, Parubiy stated unequivocally that Russian President Vladimir Putin "has challenged the whole civilized world" and that Ukrainian soldiers were "the shield of Europe." He also warned that Moscow was bombarding the Western world with devious disinformation. "This war is for hearts and minds of people, tanks are coming later," Parubiy said.

Comment: Neo-Nazism is a disease and it is being invited into mainstream thinking as if it has something positive to assimilate.
