Israel and the US falsely accused Tehran of planning to build a nuclear bomb, UN envoy Vassily Nebenzia has said.

The US and Israel spread disinformation about Iran's nuclear program as a pretext for attack, Russian Ambassador to the UN Vassily Nebenzia has said.

Speaking at the UN Security Council on Tuesday, the diplomat condemned the strikes on Iranian nuclear sites as illegal under international law and said they had "created a real threat" of radioactive contamination.

Nebenzia noted that the reports of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), which carries out inspections in Iran, serve as proof of "the absence of proliferation risks."
"We want to emphasize that nowhere in the IAEA reports is there any mention of Iran converting its nuclear stockpiles for undeclared or military purposes," Nebenzia said.

The IAEA has found no evidence indicating the development of nuclear weapons by Iran. Therefore, all claims by Western delegations to the contrary are falsehoods aimed at audiences either unfamiliar with the reports or lacking competence on the matter.

Russia confronts US betrayal in Israel-Iran war

Tel Aviv's defiance and Washington's duplicity have shattered every last bit of Moscow's illusions of diplomacy, forcing the Kremlin to reckon with the collapse of its balancing act in West Asia - and even Ukraine.

From the outset, Moscow condemned Israel's aggression against Iran in sharp terms. The Russian Foreign Ministry's first official statement left no ambiguity in assigning blame to Tel Aviv.

Until 20 June, Russia clung to the belief that a ceasefire could be brokered and that Washington would refrain from direct strikes on Iran. This optimism stemmed from a nearly hour-long phone conversation on 14 June, during which US President Donald Trump and his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, discussed the escalating Israel-Iran conflict. Trump reportedly stated during the call, "this war in Israel-Iran should end," a message echoed later on his Truth Social feed.

Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov reported that US negotiators were open to returning to talks on Iran's nuclear program. For Moscow, this was not merely optimism — it was interpreted as a real diplomatic overture and a potential backchannel for Trump to defuse mounting domestic and legal pressures.

Comment: We may never know the whole truth as to what went down with the Israeli/US attack on Iran. There is enough muffle on all sides to shape or obliterate the facts. Condemnation comes cheap. Belief has to be earned.

"I'm not happy with Israel," Trump told reporters, after Israeli fire threatened a fragile ceasefire with Iran. "They don't know what the fuck they're doing," the president continued, referring to both of the countries.

Trump had announced, in the early hours of Tuesday local time, that Israel and Iran had reached a ceasefire deal, and that it would take effect at 7:00 a.m. Iranian time. Although no written deal was announced, both sides halted their attacks, with Iran launching three volleys of missiles at Israeli targets in the last hour before Trump's deadline.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that Iran would not "continue to retaliate" against Israel if the latter halted its operations. Israel, for its part, accepted the ceasefire, according to U.S. President Trump. Then, hours after the war officially ceased, Israeli sirens sounded again in the northern region of Haifa. The Israeli army said that it intercepted two Iranian missiles, while Iran denied having fired any missiles at Israel. Israel's war minister, Israel Katz, said that he ordered the Israeli army to strike "strongly" in Tehran.

This country is the missing piece in Russia's multipolar dream

Moscow sees an opportunity in thawing India-China ties, but distrust, trade imbalances, and Western pressure complicate a RIC comeback.

India is still in the aftermath of Operation Sindoor, in which it watched as China actively supported Pakistan with hardware, intelligence and command and control, and global narrative building. China and India have had military showdowns on their borders every few years.

The US-led NATO bloc is openly supporting Ukraine against Russia. As an adversary of the Americans, China has been tacitly backing Russia, while India, in its desire not to antagonize the US, has chosen a neutral stance on the Ukraine-Russia conflict. Russia is not exactly enthused about this.

China, and to a lesser extent Russia, are not happy with India becoming active in the Quad, a visibly anti-China grouping of India, the US, Japan, and Australia.

Much to India's chagrin, Russia continues to engage with Pakistan, which it considers geographically important to safeguard its interests in Central Asia, but also to remind India to not get too close with the U.S.

With India already the fourth-largest economy and among the fastest growing, both Russia and China have an interest in continuing to engage with it. If Russia can woo India away from the West, then Russia-India-China (RIC) can become an important bloc.

In the end, predictably, the Circus Ringmaster went TACO ("Trump Always Chickens Out").

He was terrified by three crucial reality-based developments.
  1. The Iranian message on preparing to close the Strait of Hormuz. The CIA had warned Trump that China was viscerally opposed to the Strait being blocked. That's one of the reasons, according to a Deep State old hand, that Trump decided to go ahead anyway with his "spectacular" (sic) theatrical op on Fordow. But when the specter of a blocked Hormuz destroying the global economy became real, he went TACO.
  2. The Iranian warning conveyed by the bombing of the Al-Udeid base in Qatar, the military jewel in the imperial crown in West Asia. Even Atlanticist sources in Doha confirm the damage to the - evacuated - base was "monumental", with at least 3 missiles hitting their targets. Tehran was unmistakably saying we can hit you anywhere, anytime, with anything we want. And your GCC lackeys will blame you for it.
  3. Arguably the key reason: the genocidals in Tel Aviv are running out of interceptors - fast; in fact their whole - porous - air defense network is in trouble. In the last substantial Iranian missile volley on occupied Palestine on Monday morning, interception rate fell below 50%, and Iran started targeting Israel's electric grid. Iran's new directive - strategic offense, not patience - was meant to completely paralyze the Israeli economy. On top of it the genocidals had already begged Tehran to "end the war". Tehran answered the time had not yet arrived. So the genocidals begged Daddy Trump to rescue them.
The chain of events leading to the ceasefire remains murky. A key accelerating factor was Putin's personal meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi at the Kremlin on Monday.

Speaking on behalf of Ayatollah Khamenei, Araghchi may have asked for a solid supply of weapons and most of all defense systems; but these will take time, especially considering that the strategic partnership recently approved by both the Duma and the Majlis in Tehran is not - officially - a military alliance.

Yet according to sources in Moscow who were informed about the meeting, Putin did position Russia at the center of a possible resolution, thus displacing Washington. Team Trump 2.0 was incensed. Trump boasted that both Iran and Israel had called him almost simultaneously to arrange a ceasefire. Nonsense: only Tel Aviv did. As Putin made it clear, once again, that Russia would back Iran, he indirectly offered Trump an off-ramp.

True to character, the Circus Ringmaster jumped on it, marketing his own, branded ceasefire, reality show-style. And this only two days after gloating that the Iranian nuclear program was "obliterated" (he insists on it even as U.S. intel admits the program may have been set back for only a matter of months).

SOTT Focus: The Hidden Logic Behind the Iran-Israel War: It's Not Just About Iran. It's About Saving the Dollar

This war isn't just about Israel trying to bomb Iran. It's about something far bigger: protecting the U.S. financial system from collapse.

Let's be clear. Israel doesn't act alone. It's been conferring with Wall Street and taking quiet instructions from the Federal Reserve. But this time, Israel miscalculated.

Tel Aviv didn't expect the scale, speed, or precision of Iran's retaliation. Neither did Washington. The shock was real. What followed made one thing painfully obvious: Israel can't handle a long, high-intensity war — not logistically, not militarily, not politically.

Because this was never just Israel's war.

Israel acts as a militarized outpost for the U.S.-led financial empire. Its role is strategic, but the real beneficiary of this war isn't just Israel. It's Wall Street.

Humiliation: Israel Tucks Tail After Failing All Objectives in War against Victorious Iran

Israel and Iran flags
Yesterday, Iran retaliated for the US 'strikes' on its nuclear facilities, concluding the final act of the choreographed play we've been witnessing. It launched Operation Basharat al-Fath (بشارت الفتح), which reportedly means 'Glad Tidings of Victory', or 'Good News of the Conquest' if you ask Google, hitting the US Al Udaid base in Qatar.
Iran says it used the same amount of missiles against Al-Udeid as the amount of bombs dropped by the U.S. on Fordow (14)
The US claims everything was intercepted, and of course, again it was revealed that the entire act was 'agreed upon' between both sides.

Supreme Court hands Trump win on deporting 'worst of the worst' illegal migrants

The US Supreme Court just lifted a lower court's order that required the Trump administration to give people 10 days' notice and a chance to object before deporting them to a third country.
"The United States is facing a crisis of illegal immigration, in no small part because many aliens most deserving of removal are often the hardest to remove," Solicitor General John Saur wrote in an emergency application to the court in May.

"When illegal aliens commit crimes in this country, they are typically ordered removed. But when those crimes are especially heinous, their countries of origin are often unwilling to take them back. As a result, criminal aliens are often allowed to stay in the United States for years on end, victimizing law-abiding Americans in the meantime.
