The Persian rug weaver has struck in the US's backyard through Venezuela

soleimani chavez
Iranian tankers were 2200 km from the US coast when the Iranian-flagged Fortune, followed by Forest, entered Venezuelan waters, challenging the US embargo and the US's threats. The Islamic Republic was broadcasting loud and clear a strong message.

The first message was dispatched to the US administration after Gulf and Arab Leaders conveyed a direct message to the Iranian leaders:
"Washington is determined to stop the Iranian tankers sailing to Venezuela". Iran responded to all messages received that "its five tankers will sail to Venezuela and if any of these tankers is intercepted, Iran will respond in the Straits of Hormuz, the Gulf of Oman or anywhere else it sees fit."
"These five tankers โ€” the Clavel, Fortune, Petunia, Forest and Faxul โ€” are only the beginning of the supply to Venezuela. Iran has the right to send any of its tankers anywhere in the world and any US interception will be considered an act of piracy and will trigger a direct response," said an Iranian decision-maker who revealed the Iranian response to the US administration via message-carriers.

In a major interview with former White House Secret Service Officer, Gary J. Byrne discusses the well-known character problems, and tendency to grope, on the part of Senator Joe Biden. In this interview, he expresses his view that Tara Reade is likely telling the truth. In his years working in Washington, there were a few senators that female staff were told to avoid ever being alone in a room or elevator with. Joe Biden is one of them.

Gary J. Byrne is the author of Crisis of Character: A White House Secret Service Officer Discloses His Firsthand Experience with Hillary, Bill, and How They Operate, best-selling 2016 book by a former member of the United States Secret Service Uniformed Division.

Can NASA's 'Artemis Accords' spark a US-Russia alliance?

NASA Artemis Accords
Amidst the global chaos and confusion unleashed by COVID-19, the need for a new global security and financial architecture is becoming clearer every day. Banks tremble upon the precipice of the greatest financial meltdown in history while radical forces of the Anglo-American elite knowing only how to think in terms of "balance of power" geopolitics gear up for war with Russia and China.

The scale of chaos and death threatening humanity via the two-fold crises of economic collapse and war is beyond intolerable for anyone endowed with a brain and even a partially functioning conscience.

Since this crisis is caused in so many ways by geopolitical doctrines which presume that mankind is merely a selfish animal fighting over diminishing returns within closed systems, no solution can be found which is tainted with those very poisons killing the patient. It is for this very reason that all policy concepts which fall outside the box of "balance of power" thinking are so vitally important at this moment of history.

Sadly, since very few people who follow geopolitics with passion pay much attention to the importance of space diplomacy as a domain of "open system" cooperation for humanity, many of the exciting developments centering around the Artemis project have largely fallen "over the radar" so to speak.

EU 'green' agenda calls for eating bugs to save the planet

insect burger
Urges that environmental goals "will not happen without a shift in people's diets."

A new EU draft policy announced last week calls for "insect-based proteins" to be extensively promoted as a replacement for animal products, to save the environment.

The European Commission announced the Farm to Fork (F2F) Strategy, touting it as a "fair, healthy and environmentally-friendly" program that will focus on "increasing the availability and source of alternative proteins such as plant, microbial, marine, and insect-based proteins and meat substitutes."

The draft noted that the program "will not happen without a shift in people's diets".

"Moving to a more plant-based diet with less red and processed meat and with more fruits and vegetables will reduce not only risks of life-threatening diseases, but also the environmental impact of the food system," claims the strategy, revealed last Wednesday.

Comment: And is incorrect on ALL counts - as we've been documenting here for years.

Comment: The following is what real sustainable food production sounds like - and precisely what the buggers would have us ignorant of:

covid-19 stay at home
Countries all over the world have been fighting the coronavirus pandemic for months now, which is exposing a growing number of problems in their systems and the mistakes made by the current political elites that thousands of people on the planet have already paid for with their lives. And the woes caused by the coronavirus pandemic only continue to multiply.

The United States is slipping into poverty of catastrophic proportions right before our eyes, along with many other countries, even economically developed states and rich countries in Europe and other parts of the world. The threat of famine is becoming more real, and the coronavirus has not only proven to be one of the most difficult challenges ever faced by the US, but also for countries such as Britain and a significant number of EU countries. As a result, many countries that simply do not have enough strength or resources to fight the pandemic today have been left with no other choice but to seek foreign assistance, although their traditional allies have not always been quick to answer these calls for help.

The Federal Reserve's endless money printing will cause a hyperinflationary depression

hyperinflation
Hyperinflation during Germany's Weimar Republic
Money printing by the Fed and Congress is off the charts. The Federal Reserve doubled its balance sheet in a matter of months, and Congress is pumping out trillions of dollars in spending bills to fight the economic crisis caused by the Covid 19 lockdown. The really scary thing is not the massive money printing, but the fact that absolutely nobody seems to care about the risk to the U.S. dollar. Money manager Peter Schiff thinks he knows why, and explains,
"(Back in 2008-2009,) even Larry Kudlow was worried about what the Fed was doing, but nobody is worried about it now. The reason is they have been lulled into this false sense of complacency in that we got away with it the last time . . . and there was no negative consequence. We didn't have runaway inflation and did not have loss of confidence in the dollar. So, there was no price to be paid. . . . Since we got away with it before, they think they will get away with it again, and I think they are completely wrong. . . .All we did was inflate a bigger bubble, but now this bubble has popped, and it found the mother of all pins in the Coronavirus that put a gaping hole in it, so the air is coming out much faster. Now, they are trying to reflate this thing. We are going to suffer the consequences, not only what we are doing now, but what we did back then. . . . When is all this inflation going to move out of the stock market and into the supermarket? I am surprised this has not already happened, but I do think we are at the end of the line. . . . Here's what is going on. We are going to have this massive inflation tax. We are seeing price increases at the supermarkets."

Best of the Web: Bols-of-STEEL: As tyranny takes over under cover of Covid-19, Brazil's president urges citizens to arm themselves

Comment: The following MSM report of what he said is - of course - skewed towards depicting Bolsonaro as a lunatic. But he's actually one of the few sane leaders on Earth; he called this scamdemic correctly at the start, and he is now calling for Brazilians to arm themselves as a preventative measure against other politicians and technocrats using Covid-19 to implement tyrannical schemes...

bolsonaro rant guns supreme court
Brazilians got a shocking look Friday at an expletive-laced meeting between President Jair Bolsonaro and his cabinet when a Supreme Court judge released a video at the center of an investigation targeting the far-right leader.

The April 22 cabinet meeting is under scrutiny by prosecutors probing allegations by former justice minister Sergio Moro that Bolsonaro tried to interfere in federal police investigations.

But it could prove just as damaging to Bolsonaro's 18-month-old government for other sordid details it contains.

They include the president using profanity to insult governors, the education minister calling to throw Supreme Court justices in jail and the environment minister urging the government to legalize mining and farming in the Amazon rainforest while the world is distracted by the coronavirus pandemic.

Warning: The below video contains inappropriate language

Comment: Apparently 2 hours of footage was 'released' (leaked, really, by his political opponents of course). It wasn't all 'ranting' - at one calmer point, Bolsonaro complained that he has struggled to govern because he doesn't know "where our boat is heading."

Leaders are caught between a rock and a hard place. While we few who see what's going on want to see leaders call out this BS for what it is, most of them - unlike Bolsonaro - are for now humoring the panicked herd rather than trying to 'snap them out of the spell'.

Ultimately, however, most of them will snap out of it, and then Bolsonaro's stance - assuming he in the meantime survives political battles against domestic rivals and from 'the international consortium' running this Corona World Order - will pay off for him.

Big Brother benefits: Covid accelerates transition to cashless society - but does it mean more safety or less freedom for us?

Never let a good crisis go to waste, the old saying goes, and we can see that clearly with 'Covid-19 health concerns' being used as an excuse to stop people exercising their right to pay in cash.

The drive towards a cashless society was well under way even before we'd ever heard the words 'Covid-19' but it's been greatly accelerated in Britain these last few weeks. Either businesses have stopped people paying in cash, or they've said that if anyone still wants to use cash and coins, no change will be given if it's not the right amount.

In April, it was announced that passengers on Go North East buses would have to have the exact amount to pay for their fare, or else they would have to pay by card. The managing director of the company said: "This is the latest change we've made to improve safety for both our workforce and our customers."

Exclusive: Big pharma rejected EU plan to fast-track vaccines in 2017

The world's largest pharmaceutical companies rejected an EU proposal three years ago to work on fast-tracking vaccines for pathogens like coronavirus to allow them to be developed before an outbreak, the Guardian can reveal.

The plan to speed up the development and approval of vaccines was put forward by European commission representatives sitting on the Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI) - a public-private partnership whose function is to back cutting-edge research in Europe - but it was rejected by industry partners on the body.

The commission's argument had been that the research could "facilitate the development and regulatory approval of vaccines against priority pathogens, to the extent possible before an actual outbreak occurs". The pharmaceutical companies on the IMI, however, did not take up the idea.
