The "Russia Report": Deep State reinforcing delusion to spread fear and seize power

russia report
© Wiktor Szymanowicz/barcroft Media Via Getty Images
The "Russia report" is an action plan for the intelligence agencies to hand MI5 direct control over the mechanisms of British democracy, and give the government legal power to control social media.

Nobody in the mainstream will tell you this. The media are going to tell you it's a "shocking condemnation Britain's vulnerability to hostile state actors" or something similar, the Remainers will tell you it's cast iron evidence the Brexit vote was rigged, and Luke Harding will tell you it means "they" are all around us and you should buy a copy of his book.

The truth is it's just the latest of the Deep State's plays to secure as much power as possible as quickly as possible. If anything, it already feels old-fashioned, being authored in a pre-Covid world, but that doesn't mean it can't be put to use in service of the world's "new normal".

In terms of actual content, there's nothing new here. It's just a collection of familiar proven lies and unproven accusations in the service of four primary agendas:
  1. Invalidating the result of the Brexit referendum
  2. Boosting funding/resources for the UK's "Cyber Offensive capabilities"
  3. Ceding more powers to MI5 to oversee and "protect" our democratic processes
  4. Creating a "protocol" that empowers the government/intelligence agencies to force social media companies to censor and/or ban certain material, opinions, websites or users

Soros' sophistry and the fight to shape a new economic science

Soros
In my previous articles The Great Reset Fraud and Putin's Anti-Fascist Open System and You, I made the point that the trans-Atlantic System's meltdown has precipitated a flood of "false solutions" promoted by those same arsonists who have done much to set it ablaze under a post-industrial bubble economy over many decades.

The form of these false solutions has taken the form of the Green New Deal which proposes to use the two fold economic crisis/COVID-19 pandemic to accelerate the transition into a de-carbonized world order driven by around green energy grids, cap and trade/carbon tax schemes and general population reduction. The insipid outlook behind this paradigm is rooted in a devout misanthropy aims at solving humanity's problems by establishing technocratically management post-nation state regime.

The other paradigm advanced by Presidents Putin and Xi Jinping is in simple terms, a Multi-polar alliance under the guiding spirit of the Belt and Road/Polar Silk Road. Based upon their words and actions, both leaders have committed to open system models premised around the view that resources and growth are only as limited as the cognitive powers of the members of their nations. Vast megaprojects driven by high-speed rail, water programs, and space development highlight in practice just how their anti-Malthusian view has expressed itself in real time as 135 nations have already joined the framework at various levels and hundreds of millions have been lifted out of poverty.

So much for freedom in America: DC mayor issues order requiring masks outside home or face a fine of up to $1,000

muriel bowser
Washington, D.C., Mayor Muriel Bowser (D) issued an executive order Wednesday requiring residents to wear masks outside of the home as the city battles rising coronavirus cases.

"Basically what it says is, if you leave home, you should wear a mask," Bowser said at a press conference. "This means, if you're waiting for a bus, you must have on a mask. If you are ordering food at a restaurant, you must have on a mask. If you're sitting in a cubicle in an open office, you must have on a mask."

The order, which allows for fines of up $1,000 per violation, won't be enforced on children under the age of 3 and people who are actively eating or drinking.

Operation Legend: Trump to 'surge' fed agents to Chicago and other cities amid spike in violent crime

Chicago riot scene
© Chicago Sun-TimesRiot scene in Chicago
President Trump is deploying 100 federal agents to Chicago to help combat rising rates of some crimes - a move that marks an expansion of the White House's intervention into local law enforcement as Trump continues to position himself as the "law and order" president.

The "surge" of agents announced on Wednesday to Chicago and other American cities is part of Operation Legend - named after 4-year-old LeGend Taliferro, who was fatally shot while sleeping in a Kansas City apartment late last month - and comes as federal law enforcement officers have already descended on Portland, Ore. and Kansas City, Mo.

"The effort to shut down police in their own communities has led to a shocking explosion of shootings, killing, violence, murders," Trump said during a speech in the White House's East Room. "This rampage of violence shocks the conscience of our nation and we will not stand by and watch it happen."

Comment: Ineffectual mayors condemn Trump's initiative as interference. Had these elected officials done their job of protecting all citizens and property - versus pandering to rebellious and destructive protesters - perhaps federal agents would not be necessary. When the rioting few outweigh the rights, protections and lives of the many, common sense and upholding the law must intervene. To do nothing is not an option.

UPDATE, 22/7/2020: Trump vows to never defund police as deaths and injuries increase in numerous cities.
The FBI, Department of Homeland Security, US Marshals and other federal agencies will be sending officers to Chicago with more than 400 killed and over a thousand injured in shootings.

"What cities are doing is absolute insanity," Trump said, slamming politicians for seeking to cut law enforcement budgets while pushing "sanctuary city" policies.

'Operation Legend' initially focused on Kansas City, but has since been expanded to Chicago, Illinois and Albuquerque, New Mexico.

The largest voting machine vendor in US admits its systems had remote-access software installed

A bombshell revelation on the security of voting in the United States surfaced in the form of a letter from the country's largest voting machine manufacturer. The company, Election Systems and Software (ES&S) admitted that despite denying previous allegations of its voting systems coming installed with remote-access software, their systems did, indeed, allow for remote connections.

In a letter to Sen. Ron Wyden (D-OR), written in April, but only released this week, the company acknowledged that it had installed software that made the systems remotely accessible from anywhere. Tom Burt, ES&S president, wrote:
"Prior to the inception of the [Election Assistance Commission] testing and certification program and the subsequent requirement for hardening and at customer's request, ES&S provided pcAnywhere remote connection software on the [Election-Management System] workstation to a small number of customers between 2000 and 2006."

Comment: Plain talk and frankly answered questions under oath leave no doubt how rigged elections have taken place to skew results to a particular outcome.

Comment: Freedom and the will of the people are fantasies we choose to believe in, when in reality, they are a manipulation technique to disguise particular outcomes for hidden reasons.

Brexit opponents hoped 'Russia report' would show Moscow's interference, but only revealed blindness of UK's foreign policy

Russian report peeps
© Getty Images/Mike Kemp/In PicturesRussian Report alludes to the allegation of Russian interference in EU referendum in Westminster, London, England, UK
The House of Commons report into Russia demonstrates that the British elites are brain dead. In his famous 1946 essay, 'Politics and the English language', George Orwell argued that lazy cliches are evidence of an inability to think.

I was reminded of this essay when reading the report published on July 21 by the House of Commons 'Intelligence Committee'. Indeed, the inanity of the report leads me to suggest that their body should be re-named 'the stupidity committee'.

The report has received much publicity because opponents of Brexit in Britain had hoped it would show Russian interference in the 2016 referendum, the result of which they have been determined to delegitimise and overturn. In reality, the report brushes aside the issue and says nothing about Brexit at all. This has not stopped pro-European anti-democrats like Guy Verhofstadt from claiming that it has proved their case, which it has not.

Instead, the report proves something else: the incapacity of the British elite to think strategically, or even to think at all. The document is a monument to the terrible blindness of British foreign policy.

Economist Stephen Roach: US is on a collision course with a double-dip recession

Stephen Roach

Economist Stephen Roach warns V-shaped recovery mania on Wall Street is leading investors astray. According to Roach, the U.S. is on a collision course with a second dramatic downturn.

"The odds of a relapse, not just the virus but in the economy itself โ€” the so-called dreaded double-dip, is very real," the former Morgan Stanley Asia chairman told CNBC's Trading Nation on Wednesday.

He notes recessions are historically double-dip. Roach anticipates this contraction will follow the same pattern despite its unusual origin.
"This behavioral capitulation on the demand side of the U.S. economy is going to continue to create a lot of problems for businesses, business hirings, [and] potential corporate bankruptcies in the second half of this year."

Trump-Russia dossier was never meant to go public, ex-MI6 spy Christopher Steele tells court

Steele
© Washington ExaminerChristopher Steele
Christopher Steele, the ex-MI6 officer who wrote the 2016 dossier alleging links between Donald Trump and Russia, has said that it was never intended for publication in the media.

Giving evidence at the High Court in London on Wednesday, Mr Steele told Mr Justice Mark Warby that he took great care to ensure intelligence was handled and communicated carefully, as his business depends on confidentiality. He said that he never "knew, intended or foresaw" that a media organisation would publish the dossier for the "world at large" to see.

Comment: Seriously?!!!

Mr Steele is in court for a defamation case brought against him and Orbis Business Intelligence, a company he co-founded, by Aleksej Gubarev, a Russian businessman named in the dossier. Mr Gubarev said he was stunned when BuzzFeed reported that the Steele dossier had linked him to a "hacking incident" against the Democratic Party in the US ahead of the 2016 election.

The dossier was published by BuzzFeed on 10 January 2017, shortly before the inauguration of Mr Trump as president of the United States.

Comment: Years after the damage was done, isn't it kind of late in the game for this 'correction'?

Surprise, surprise: Analyst says Russians did not hack DNC server

ComeyClintonMueller
© Screen ShotThe Deep State is really there, according to this former NSA director.
On July 18th, Bill Binney, a former technical director with the National Security Agency (NSA) went public on a video interview, saying something that readers of The Duran have known for three years or longer: the Russians did not hack anyone. Even the around the edges hinting of Russian involvement in somehow 'meddling' with the American presidential elections in 2016 is absolutely false. Here are some quotes from the interview featured in the video clip:
"So, you know, I think we are currently, and if you look at the attempted coup against President Trump and the players in that, which are primarily the intelligence people, plus also others in the government, attempting, mostly Democratic, but some Republicans that I know. And the idea was they were trying to get rid of him because they don't like his positions, his policies, or any of that. And so, because he was also an outsider, he was not controllable nor influenced. I mean, he didn't need money, he had plenty of that. He didn't owe anybody anything; he went in there trying to help and do the right thing for the American public from my view, anyway."

Comment: The 'explanation' as to why Biden is front and center (and not Tulsi Gabbard - the only intelligent and free-thinking candidate) is also 'no surprise'. The Dems can't rise to the top by sinking to the bottom. They must steal it.

'Others want to change Europe, we want to quit': Italian senator meets with Farage, plans to launch 'Italexit' party

Italy is getting its own Brexit-type party led by a staunch Eurosceptic senator, a former journalist and ex-member of the anti-establishment Five Star Movement who recently met with Nigel Farage for inspiration.

While its name is yet to be revealed, the party, led by Senator Gianluigi Paragone, already has a clear goal - to lead Italy, a founding member of the 27-member bloc, out of the European Union.

Inspired by the UK's vote to exit the EU, the 48-year-old senator traveled to London on Monday to meet with Brexit architect Nigel Farage. After the meeting, Paragone said his country "can no longer be blackmailed by countries that offend the great prestige of Italy."

Comment: Wow. There's a head rush!

Speaking to the media, Paragone said the only way for Italy to tackle the economic crisis brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic is to do so as a "really sovereign state," such as Britain.

Comment: Italy has been thinking of exiting the EU for some time. Will Paragone's plan work? Greece tribulations and the 'global reset' come to mind, not to mention Britain is no sage when it comes to Exit advice as well as the damage from the 'pandemic' is far from over.
