Uncle Sam's Nazi Warriors

Ukraine Nazis
"I have spoken with my Western colleagues about denazification. They say:" What's the problem? You also have radical nationalists, don't you?" Yes, we do, but we don't have them in our government like Ukraine. And we don't have thousands of people marching in the streets with torches and swastikas like Nazi Germany in the 1930s? And we don't praise the men who killed Russians, Jews, and Poles during the war. But in Ukraine, they do." Vladimir Putin, Russian President
The United States has been arming and training far-right militants that are the ideological descendants of Nazi war criminals that were directly involved in the mass-extermination of Jews, Slavs and Gypsies during the Second World War. These Ukrainian storm troopers are among the most vicious and malignant combatants Washington has ever employed to implement its foreign policy agenda. Naturally, Washington sees these fascist-zealots as mere pawns in its proxy war on Russia. Even so, the 'alliance of convenience' does not diminish the fact that Uncle Sam is now in bed with right-wing militants whose spiritual leader, Adolph Hitler, was responsible for the deaths of tens of millions of people as well as the destruction of large parts of Europe and Russia. Check out this clip from an article titled "Can Ukraine have a 'Nazi problem' with a Jewish president?:
"Ukraine really does have a far-right problem, and it's not a fiction of Kremlin propaganda. And it's well past time to talk about it," explained journalist and expert on the Ukrainian far right, Michael Colborne.

The most known neo-Nazi group on Ukraine's far right is the Azov movement. The movement grew out of the Azov Regiment (originally a Battalion), formed in the chaos of war in early 2014.

It was formed by a "ragtag group of far-right thugs, football hooligans and international hangers-on, including dozens of Russian citizens," said Colborne, who wrote a book on the movement."("Can Ukraine have a 'Nazi problem' with a Jewish president?", Jewish Unpacked)

Washington sees it as important to explain the US' "strategic goals" to TikTok influencers with "millions of views," media have reported.

White House officials have held a special briefing on the conflict in Ukraine for some 30 social media creators, the US media have reported, adding that the Biden administration is increasingly exploring new means of communication to get its message across to younger audiences.

The briefing was held on Thursday by the White House National Security Council special adviser for communications, Matt Miller, and White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki. The officials explained the US "strategic goals in the region" and answered questions about US aid to Ukraine, about NATO and Washington's potential reaction to a Russian nuclear strike, addressing the social media creators on a zoom call, The Washington Post has reported on Friday.

Russia's palladium exports cannot be replaced by any other producer

Curbs on palladium exports by Moscow could have devastating effects on global markets
South African producers will not be able to make up for a possible reduction in the supply of key commodities from Russia, primarily palladium and other platinum group metals. This was announced on Thursday by South African media firm SABC, citing the director of the largest mining company, Sibanye-Stillwater, Neil Froneman.

"Acceleration of projects to expand production is possible, but a significant increase in production will take months and even years," Froneman said.

He noted that car manufacturers are now trying to replace palladium, which is used in catalytic converters, which convert as much as 90% of the harmful gases in automobile exhaust, with platinum.

Comment: This is just the latest commodity that's threatened to be removed from the West's supply chain because of the US' war on Russia via its vassal Ukraine:

Israel's Knesset passes law barring Palestinian spouses

Ayelet Shaked
© Menahem Kahana/AFPIsraeli interior minister Ayelet Shaked says the passing of the law 'led to an important result for the security of the state and its fortification as a Jewish state'
Israel's parliament has passed a law denying naturalisation to Palestinians from the occupied West Bank or Gaza married to Israeli citizens, forcing thousands of Palestinian families to either emigrate or live apart.

The so-called citizenship law passed on Thursday just before the Knesset disbanded for a holiday recess by a 45-15 majority vote that crossed coalition-opposition lines.

It replaced a similar temporary order that first passed during the height of a Palestinian uprising in 2003 and was renewed annually until it expired last July, when the Knesset failed to secure a simple majority needed to extend it.

Comment: The longer the international community allows Israel to get away with such criminality - reminiscent of Nazi Germany - the more brazen it becomes:

The Casualties of Empire

Diabolic methods of propaganda and perception management are at work now that have no precedent. This is war waged in a new way — against domestic populations as well as those declared as enemies

The news reports come in daily from Moscow, Kiev and the Western capitals: how many dead since Russia began its intervention in Ukraine on Feb. 24, how many injured, how many hungry or cold, how many displaced. We do not know the true count of casualties and the extent of the suffering and ought not pretend we do: This is the reality of war, each side having its version of unfolding events.

My inclination is to add the deaths in Ukraine these past two weeks to the 14,000 dead and the 1.5 million displaced since 2014, when the regime in Kiev began shelling its own citizens in the eastern provinces — this because the people of Donetsk and Lugansk rejected the U.S.-cultivated coup that deposed their elected president. This simple math gives us a better idea of how many Ukrainians are worthy of our mourning.

As we mourn, it is time to consider the wider consequences of this conflict, for Ukrainians are not alone among its victims. Who else has suffered? What else has been damaged? This war is of a kind humanity has never before known. What are its costs?

A Central Bank Digital Currency would enable a totalitarian nightmare

You awake to find that today is special: It's Stimmie Day! When you roll over and check your phone, you see a notification from your FedWallet app letting you know that another $2,000 in FedCoins has just been added directly to your account by the U.S. Federal Reserve.

To be honest, part of you would love to save that money for the long term, given that things have been getting rather uncertain and actually kind of crazy lately, what with the war and the economy and all... But you can't, since these FedCoins are coded as usable for consumer purchases only, and will expire and vanish in seven days. So you'd better spend em while you've got em!

The latest PlayBox it is then. Everyone says Elden Ring 3 is the hottest VR game on the Metaverse right now, and you've really wanted to join in. Since you're stubbornly old fashioned, you decide to check it out at BezosMart on the way home from work today before you get it delivered by drone to your tiny apartment.

But first you begin your day as you always do, with a quick stop at the local Starbrats' automated, no-contact drive-through latte dispensary. Opening your FedWallet app and vaguely waving your smartphone at the machine is enough to complete the transaction. $14 in FedCoins are instantly deleted from your digital account at the Fed and recreated in Starbrats' corporate account, well before the sweet, coffee-flavored milk beverage is deposited into your eager, grasping hands.

Turkish fighters and the internationalization of the Ukrainian war

Soldiers Ukraine

More recently, the topic of Turkey and its use of fighters with Syrian war experience in a number of armed conflict zones has been discussed at length in the pages of NEO. However, the topic of foreign fighters in the current events in Ukraine, as well as the involvement of a number of NATO countries in sending them there, compels us to revisit this topic.

First, regarding foreign fighters "with Syrian experience", the deputy head of the Russian Center for the Reconciliation of Opposing Sides (CROS) in Syria, Rear Admiral Oleg Zhuravlev, said on March 5 that fighters of Albanian and Caucasian origin were heading to Europe from the US-controlled Syrian province of Idlib. They plan to further "take part in combat operations on the territory of Ukraine".

On March 1, Syrian Deputy Foreign Minister Bashar Jaafari said that the USA might transfer terrorists of DAESH (a terrorist group banned in Russia) or members of other radical groups to Ukraine. According to the politician, this is being organized by the US special services. He also stressed that the use of mercenaries is a common practice in the US. Jaafari stressed:
"They moved terrorists from El-Hol camp (in northeastern Syria) to Al-Tanf area (territory seized by the US army) and from there sent them to Afghanistan and Burkina Faso."

Comment: Ukraine promises to be a cauldron of chaos and a bloodbath for participants where sanity takes a dive.

Ukrainian official: Bennett told Zelensky he should take Putin's proposal to end war

A senior Ukrainian official said that Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett told Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Tuesday that he should take Russian President Vladimir Putin's proposal for ending the war. An official in the Israeli Prime Minster's Office denies the claim.

Why it matters: Bennett has emerged as a key mediator between Putin and Zelensky in the last two weeks. Israel has said it needs to remain neutral in the mediation, but the Ukrainian official told Axios that Bennett must present proposals and do more than act as a "mailbox" between the two sides.

Driving the news: The senior Ukrainian official claimed Bennett initiated the call on Tuesday and recommended Zelensky take the offer.
  • Zelensky and his advisers didn't like Bennett's recommendation, according to the Ukrainian official.
  • "Bennett is basically telling us to surrender and we have no intention of doing that," the senior Ukrainian official said.

Comment: Bennett seems an unlikely mediator. What is Israel's 'skin in the game'?

Trudeau rejects Zelensky's request for a no-fly zone citing fears of Russian escalation

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says he was forced to deny Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's request to authorize a no-fly zone over Ukraine citing fears about triggering an escalation from Russian forces.

Speaking to CTV National News Chief Anchor and Senior Editor Lisa LaFlamme, Trudeau confirmed Zelensky asked him directly to implement a no-fly zone over Ukraine during a phone call Thursday. Trudeau called the request and resulting response "heartbreaking," noting that Zelensky has been asking for the no-fly zone for "many days." He said:
"It is something that is heartbreaking. To have to say we can do so many things to support, but the risk of escalation, the risk of spreading... of involving NATO in a direct conflict if we send NATO planes over Ukraine to shoot down Russian planes. We can do an awful lot and we're doing everything we can. But we can't do that."

Emmanuel Macron has opposed giving any consideration at present to Ukraine's European Union membership bid. The French president was grilled by reporters on the issue ahead of an EU summit at Versailles on Thursday. "Can we open an accession procedure for a country at war? I don't think so," he stated.

Macron said the EU should send a "strong signal" of solidarity to Ukraine and to the Ukrainians, but cautioned that, "at the same time, we must be vigilant." Three nations - Georgia and Moldova, along with Ukraine - have recently voiced their desire for membership.

Kiev's bid received support from a number of Eastern European member states, with the leaders of Bulgaria, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, and the Czech Republic penning an open letter that urged the Council of Europe to "conduct steps to immediately grant Ukraine EU candidate country status and open the process of negotiations."

Germany and the Netherlands "want to focus on delivering practical support to Ukraine and ending the war, rather than embarking on a process that could take at least a decade," Bloomberg reported on Monday.
The US weighs in:
Washington will back any negotiations to peacefully resolve the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, but it won't persuade Kiev to surrender to Moscow, US State Department spokesman Ned Price said on Thursday.
"We have told the Ukrainian government in no uncertain terms that we stand ready to support any diplomacy it wishes to pursue. But, as we've always said, we will not push them into concessions. The surrender of Ukraine [is] not something that can be achieved or solved or addressed through diplomacy.
"The pressure it's encountering on the battlefield [and] the economic dire straits that it's in back at home would push Moscow to negotiate with Ukraine in a way that actually involves good faith. We haven't seen that yet, but we will continue to mount pressure on the Kremlin, on President Putin, until we do."
Lavrov did not rule out direct negotiations between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, but said any such sit-down would require preparation. It should not be "a meeting for the sake of meeting."

Flashback SOTT Focus: The Truth Perspective: Interview with Dilyana Gaytandzhieva: ‌Pentagon Biological Warfare And Arms Trafficking to Terrorists

Comment: Dilyana Gaytandzhieva's investigative journalism is more important than ever given the recent admission by Victoria Nuland that Ukraine has biological research facilities. See her recent interview with MintPress News here.

dilyana gaytandzhieva
This week on The Truth Perspective we will be interviewing Bulgarian investigative journalist Dilyana Gaytandzhieva. Dilyana broke the story of a CIA-run international arms smuggling ring that was using diplomatic protection to deliver weapons to ISIS and other terrorist groups in Syria. Though Dilyana's research was printed by Bulgaria's Trud newspaper - complete with corroborating documentation - she was fired from her job soon after being interrogated by the Bulgarian national security apparatus.

Ms. Gaytandzhieva is a seasoned journalist and war correspondent who has reported from Aleppo, Syria and from other hotspots around the world. Through her years of experience in the field she has gained first-hand knowledge of how weapons are shipped, who they were used by, and who the victims of terrorist atrocity have been.

Join us on The Truth Perspective this Sunday, 4 February 2018, from 12-2pm EST / 5-7pm UTC / 6-8pm CET as Dilyana shares the results of her in-depth investigations and her most recent work on the Pentagon's Bio-warfare labs.
