The Russian Defense Ministry has accused Ukrainian forces of committing a war crime after a video surfaced on social media, on Friday, which appears to show captured Russian servicemen first alive and subsequently dead.

The footage depicts soldiers dressed in Russian uniforms first surrendering to troops in uniforms bearing Ukrainian insignia before being shown lying on the ground, presumably dead.

The ministry described the video as evidence of "the deliberate and methodical murder" of over ten Russian servicemen at the hands of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, who "shot them straight in their heads." Such actions prove the "barbaric nature" of the government in Kiev led by President Vladimir Zelensky, as well as "all those, who defend and support it," the statement added.

West should not 'dictate' Ukraine peace terms - Czech FM

Ukraine should reach an eventual peace settlement with Russia without any pressure from the West, Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsky said on Thursday. Doing so would mean Kiev was protecting not only itself, but all of Europe, he argued.

On a trip to London, the minister was asked whether Ukraine should insist on restoring its 2014 borders. "We shouldn't be in a position where we dictate to Ukraine ... other conditions for peace, if they are fighting for their own survival," he stated, as quoted by The Guardian. Lipavsky added that the UN principles of territorial integrity are at stake in the ongoing conflict.

According to the nation's top diplomat, the West should continue protecting Kiev in the long term, because its fight against Moscow "is also protecting us."

Lipavsky vowed that Czechia would follow through on its commitment to support Ukraine despite the economic difficulties it imposed on his country. "So maybe this winter will be harsher. But the price we would pay for not being free? It's much, much, much, much higher," the official stated.

West using Ukraine as proxy to fight Russia - top Turkish official

The West is using Ukraine to wage a war against Russia and has gone so far as to sabotage Turkish diplomacy that sought to negotiate an end to it, the deputy leader of Türkiye's ruling AKP party, Numan Kurtulmus, told CNN Turk on Friday.

"This war is not between Russia and Ukraine, it is a war between Russia and the West," Kurtulmus told the outlet, adding that "the US and some countries in Europe" are prolonging the conflict by supporting Ukraine.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is talking to both Moscow and Kiev, said Kurtulmus, and in March managed to organize negotiations in Istanbul that looked promising. Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Ukrainian counterpart, Vladimir Zelensky, "were going to sign" a deal, but "someone didn't want" that to happen.

According to Ukrainian media, Kiev received a message in April that the West was not interested in peace with Russia, which encouraged Zelensky to break off the talks. The messenger was reportedly none other than the UK prime minister at the time, Boris Johnson.

Good for the rich, bad for everyone else: British government to usher in new era of austerity in effort to restore market confidence

Jeremy Hunt

New British Finance Minister Jeremy Hunt must weigh the country's economic peril against his party's political survival on Thursday as he delivers a long-awaited fiscal statement.

Hunt is expected to announce tax rises and spending cuts totaling between £50 billion ($58.85 billion) and £60 billion per year as he attempts to plug a substantial hole in the country's public finances, while reassuring the market of its fiscal credibility after the chaos unleashed by former Prime Minister Liz Truss' disastrous "mini-budget" in late September.

The Bank of England has projected that the U.K. is at the beginning of its longest recession on record, and the Office for National Statistics confirmed on Friday that GDP contracted by 0.2% in the third quarter of 2022.

The Bank is also attempting to wrestle inflation back down to target from the 40-year high of 10.1% seen in September, and earlier this month imposed its largest hike to interest rates since 1989.

"We are going to see everyone paying more tax. We're going to see spending cuts," Hunt told the BBC on Sunday, while also promising the government would deliver a new and more focused plan to help with household energy bills beyond April.

Russia bans Ireland's PM from entry

Russia has imposed sanctions on Irish government ministers and dozens of other officials over Dublin's "anti-Russian" political course, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Wednesday.

A total of 52 Irish officials, including Prime Minister Micheal Martin, Deputy Prime Minister Leo Varadkar, as well as the foreign, justice, and finance ministers, found their way onto the blacklist, the statement said. Some parliamentarians, including the chairman of the Irish parliament's Lower House, Sean O Fearghail, were put on the list as well.

Ireland is waging "an aggressive anti-Russian propagandist campaign," acting on Brussels' orders, the Foreign Ministry's statement said. Dublin has also decided to "scale down bilateral cooperation against its own interests," the ministry noted, adding that Moscow will be guided by Dublin's actions in bilateral relations.

218! Republicans eke out House majority after four years out of power

Republicans narrowly regained the majority in the House of Representatives Wednesday, salvaging a measure of success on what turned out to be a worse-than-expected midterm election night for the GOP.

The race that put the GOP over the top at 218 members in the lower chamber was incumbent Republican Rep. Mike Garcia's victory over Democrat Christy Smith in California's 27 Congressional District. The race was called with 75% of the vote in, more than a week after Election Day, and Garcia leading 54.2% to Smith's 45.8%.

"It is the honor of my lifetime to continue to serve [California's 27th District] in Congress. I ran to fight for California families and protect the American Dream, and I look forward to working hard every day to continue that mission. Thank you #CA27!" Garcia said in a tweet.

Ukraine tried to trick NATO into starting World War III after it accidentally bombed Poland

The Ukrainian leadership was well aware of what happened but decided to propagate the most dangerous conspiracy theory in history in an attempt to spark World War III. The Western public would do well to dwell on this since it means that they've been forced by their governments into subsidizing what can objectively be described as a literal apocalyptic death cult that lied to their leaders in an attempt to get them to bomb Russia and thus likely end the world.

NATO and Russia briefly stood on the brink of World War III Tuesday evening after Ukraine accidentally bombed Poland. The incident happened as its forces were trying to intercept incoming Russian missiles during what's been described as Moscow's fiercest attack of its special operation thus far that some speculated coincided with the failure of rumored ceasefire talks. Instead of shooting down the Russian missile, Kiev's S-300 malfunctioned and ended up dropping into Poland, where it killed two people.

The Ukrainian leadership was well aware of what happened but decided to propagate the most dangerous conspiracy theory in history in an attempt to literally spark World War III. Zelensky lied to the world by describing his forces' accidental bombing of Poland as "a Russian missile strike on collective security" and telling NATO that "We need to act." His Foreign Minister in turn gaslit by claiming that all allegations that his side was responsible for this incident are nothing but "Russian propaganda".

Leaked files show Department of Homeland Security "ministry of truth" lives on in secret

On October 31, journalists Lee Fang and Ken Klippenstein released a trove of leaked documents exposing how, in recent years, the Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) desire - and ability - to curb speech in both online and offline realms has ramped up significantly.

Along the way, a government department ostensibly founded to defend Americans from terrorist violence has become the single biggest threat to free speech in the U.S. What is more, the DHS is being actively abetted in this malign mission by major tech firms.

These papers show that officials at the highest levels of the Department are maneuvering to establish a decisive stranglehold over the flow of information in news outlets and on social media platforms, while covertly co-opting and infiltrating civil society groups as "clearing houses" for government propaganda, and consistently deceiving Americans as to their true intentions.

Furthermore, they are preparing to deploy invasive technology developed by Israeli special forces to spy on the opinions and utterances of everyday citizens - and may well already be doing so.

G20 leaders issue joint declaration promoting Global Health Passport to 'facilitate international travel'

On November 15-16, 2022, the Group of Twenty (G20) met in Nusa Dua, Bali, Indonesia, for their seventeenth annual summit, under the theme 'Recover Together, Recover Stronger.'

The G20 is a summit of the world's major economies. Its members are responsible for more than 80% of the world's gross domestic product, 75% of global trade, and 60% of the world's total population.

The G20 is made up of 19 countries and the European Union. The 19 countries are Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Germany, France, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Mexico, the Russian Federation, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, the UK, and the US.

On Wednesday, the G20 leaders issued a joint declaration at the end of the summit advocating for a universal standard on proof of vaccination for international travel and urging the creation of "global digital health networks to strengthen prevention and response to future pandemics."

The declaration comes after the Health Minister of Indonesia, Budi Gunadi Sadikin, advocated for a global digital health certificate during the B20 Summit in Bali, Indonesia.

Comment: Looks like this Motley Crew might have just been given their marching orders from whoever gives 'ol Klaus his orders - and who, incidentally, was actually on hand at the this recent G20 meeting to give his shpiel:
Klaus Schwab and the World Economic Forum find themselves waiting around for the next global crisis event after the covid pandemic turned out to be much less threatening to the public than they had originally hoped. In the meantime, Schwab continues to pontificate on the virtues of the "Great Reset" and the usefulness of crisis as a means to accomplish a "restructuring" of the current world order.

The restructuring that the WEF obsesses over is a global socialist system based on Schwab's concepts of the 4th Industrial Revolution, the Shared Economy and Stakeholder Capitalism (corporate governance). He does not say much in terms of planning in his speech to the G20, but he does imply that while fragmentation is necessary, too much fragmentation could be troublesome. In other words, controlled chaos is valuable to the globalist agenda, but uncontrolled chaos would be disastrous for them.

Trump's mementos: WaPo update about the Mar-a-Lago raid doesn't fit the narrative

The Washington Post is admitting that former President Trump's motive for allegedly keeping classified material at his Mar-a-Lago residence was largely him wanting to keep mementos, contrary to months of speculation about what he would do with highly classified intelligence documents.

In a report published days after the midterm elections, WaPo cites "people familiar with the matter" who say federal agents and prosecutors now believe Trump's motive "was largely his ego and a desire to hold on to the materials as trophies or mementos."
That review has not found any apparent business advantage to the types of classified information in Trump's possession, these people said. FBI interviews with witnesses so far, they said, also do not point to any nefarious effort by Trump to leverage, sell or use the government secrets. Instead, the former president seemed motivated by a more basic desire not to give up what he believed was his property, these people said. [...]

The people familiar with the matter cautioned that the investigation is ongoing, that no final determinations have been made, and that it is possible additional information could emerge that changes investigators' understanding of Trump's motivations. But they said the evidence collected over a period of months indicates the primary explanation for potentially criminal conduct was Trump's ego and intransigence. (WaPo)

Comment: Did anyone with a modicum of intelligence actually think there was anything going on other than this? The raid on Mar-a-Lago was always about creating an image of Trump being evil. No one should be surprised it's a complete Nothing Burger™.
