House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer has made a claim that implicated former President Barack Obama in regard to allegations involving the family of his then-Vice President Joe Biden.

In an interview, Comer hinted that Obama was aware of the Biden family's questionable international business deals that have been the focus of a years-long federal probe.

"I believe that it's because he knew what Joe Biden was doing the last year of his vice presidency. He knew his son (Hunter Biden) was no good, and he knew this was nothing but a political liability not just for our country, not just for the democrat party, but for Obama's legacy."

Comer also raised the possibility that Obama's awareness of the family's business dealings might have influenced his hesitation to fully endorse Biden's presidential campaign in 2020.

"So, I think that's why Obama didn't want Joe Biden to run for president. I think they knew about this. And remember, a lot of these coverups would have happened during the Obama administration with Obama appointees in these deep state bureaucracies."

He also suggested that Obama be questioned under oath about what he may have known back then.

Washington's ambassador to South Africa had accused Pretoria of sending arms to Russia...

The US should not attempt to meddle in relations between Russia and South Africa, and should instead focus on repairing its own tarnished image, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Wednesday.

Speaking at a press conference in Mozambique, Lavrov was asked to comment on claims made by the US ambassador to South Africa, Reuben Brigety, who alleged earlier this month that Pretoria had sent arms and ammunition to Moscow.

"If an American or any other overseas ambassador starts seeing things, generally [he] must know his place and mind his own business."

He added that Russia "never violates international norms" regarding arms shipments, which he claimed could not be said about the West.

"Instead, Western nations have declared neutrality over events in Ukraine while pumping this country with enormous amounts of modern long-range weaponry. Some of the arms supplied to Ukraine are even unsafe for those who use them, including anti-tank shells containing depleted uranium provided by the UK. Perhaps, US envoys should take care of their own image in the eyes of foreign public."

Russian security officials claim to have uncovered a major surveillance operation exploiting Apple devices...

The CIA installed malware on thousands of Apple phones used by Russian citizens and foreign diplomats working in the country, Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) has claimed.

The FSB said on Thursday that a joint operation with the Federal Guard Service (FSO) had "uncover[ed] a surveillance operation by American intelligence agencies, carried out with the use of Apple's mobile devices."

An assessment of Russia's telecom infrastructure revealed "anomalies" in the operations of some iPhones, caused by "a previously unknown malicious program that uses software vulnerabilities provided by the manufacturer," a statement by the agency read.

Several thousand phones made by Apple were infected with the malware, according to the FSB.

Not only Russian citizens were targeted, but also "foreign phone numbers and subscribers that use SIM cards registered with diplomatic missions and embassies inside Russia, including countries from the NATO bloc and the post-Soviet space, as well Israel, Syria and China," the agency said.

As one of the primary conduits for influence peddling in the Biden family, Hunter appeared to be in a free fall and his Uncle Jim appeared to offer him a "safe harbor" and to guarantee "all the deals are still alive."

In 2018, Hunter Biden's world was collapsing. The New York Times had run a story on one of his shady deals with the Chinese and his father, then vice president, was pulled into the vortex. It appears that Hunter was in a free fall and his uncle Jim Biden reportedly reached out in newly discovered messages to offer him a "safe harbor."

The exchange is an insight into a train wreck of a life of the scion of one of the most powerful families in the country. However, it is also insight into a world of influence peddling where millions simply evaporated in the coffers of the Biden family.

On the 19^th of May, the Financial Times quoted the British Minister of Defense, Ben Wallace, stating that the West could face the threat of full-scale war with Russia and China by the end of the decade and proclaimed defence preparation a paramount task for Western countries.

One has to wonder what universe Mr. Wallace and his boss, Rishi Sunak, are living in since Britain is engaged in war with Russia right now, has, with every step, every hostile action, set itself up for a full-scale war, a full-scale catastrophe, which they cannot prevent. Why Britain would go to war with China as well as Russia when China has not threatened it and is oceans away, no one can explain in rational terms. Yet, this is the British rhetoric, the fetishistic parroting of the words of their lord and master, the USA.

Many argue that statements, a war is not happening, that it is something that exits only in the future, are desperate attempts to fool the British people, to lie to them about their government's intentions and what is coming. Others argue that they are signs that the British government has no sense of reality. But, in the end, one has to conclude that they are both at the same time.

The Durham Report fails to identify the ringleader of the Russiagate fiasco, John Brennan. It was Brennan who first reported "contacts... between Russian officials and persons in the Trump campaign". It was also Brennan who initially referred the case to the FBI. It was also Brennan who "hand-picked" the analysts who cobbled together the Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA) which said that Putin was trying to swing the election in Trump's favor. And, it was also Brennan who hijacked the "Trump-Russia-meme" from the Hillary campaign in order to prosecute his war on Trump. At every turn, Brennan was there, massaging the intelligence, pulling the strings, and micromanaging the entire operation from behind the scenes. So, while it might seem like the FBI was 'leading the Russiagate charge', it was actually Brennan who was calling the shots. This is from an article by Aaron Mate:

Moscow and Minsk persisted with doomed diplomatic efforts for too long, the Belarusian president believes.

The conflict in Ukraine started years ago and the "only mistake" that Russia and Belarus made was not resolving the issue sooner, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said on Thursday.

Speaking at a meeting of Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) security chiefs, Lukashenko stated that the Ukraine conflict began even before the 2014 Maidan coup in Kiev, which ousted the country's democratically elected president, Viktor Yanukovich.

"I absolutely agree with President [Vladimir] Putin when he says that we did not start this war. It didn't even start in 2014. It started well before 2014. We saw everything that happened here: the 'brown' coup that took place, and what Ukraine has been led into," Lukashenko declared.

If the United States and its NATO lackeys really wanted to avoid a direct war with Russia, then they know what to do: stop arming the reactionary Kiev regime and get down to serious diplomacy.

This week saw a swarm of military drones attack the Russian capital. The Russian authorities claimed that all of the unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down or electronically disabled, but not without some of the aircraft inflicting damage on civilian apartment blocks.

Nearly four weeks ago, a double drone attack was launched on the Kremlin Senate building close to where President Vladimir Putin has a residence.

Moscow has never been attacked in such a symbolic way since the Great Patriotic War when the Soviet Union was fighting Nazi Germany at the very gates of the capital.

Elsewhere across the Russian Federation, Ukrainian drones have targeted major Russian oil and gas installations, as well as military air bases deep inside its territory. Latest reports say Russian children are being evacuated from the Belgorod and Bryansk westerly regions due to constant heavy shelling by Ukrainian forces. Those regions have also seen commando-style incursions by militants using American-supplied armored vehicles. The CIA media front Radio Free Europe is evidently delighted by the anticipated sapping of Russian morale.

Russia is incrementally being subjected to a tightening aggressive vice, which when viewed in perspective presents a shocking attempted assault on its existential interests. Moscow has warned that its national defense doctrine permits the use of nuclear weapons if its existential interests are threatened. The U.S. and its NATO partners are provocatively shaping the Ukraine conflict into Russia's existential concerns. The aggression is being fully directed and intensified by Washington and its NATO accomplices, in particular Britain.

Mikheil Saakashvili warned of Putin's ambitions 15 years ago. Now he tells of torture by a regime that panders to Moscow

Locked up in a Tbilisi hospital, Mikheil Saakashvili is slowly wasting away.

"I am asking to be transferred to Poland, as it is crystal clear that in Georgian hospital I will die," Georgia's former president wrote in response to questions from the Observer last week. His answers were scrawled in blue ballpoint pen on sheets of paper, passed to his lawyers.

Photographs and video of Saakashvili in hospital show him gaunt and confused. A recent report from independent experts suggested his health has deteriorated severely and he will soon face irreversible organ damage. Since his arrest, he says, his weight has halved to 60kg.

2024 presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has once again blasted the United States government for lying to the public and to the world about Ukraine, while calling out the Military Industrial Complex in particular.

It's not the first time. Earlier this month an avalanche of mainstream media headlines condemned his take when he told UnHerd the following: "We should have listened to Putin over many years. We made a commitment to Russia, to Gorbachev, that we would not move NATO one inch to the east. Then we went in, and we lied."

More recent speaking engagements wherein he utters unpopular truths on Ukraine have gone viral this week. In one of them, he tells an audience at a campaign event, "Our government is lying to us about it. The media is going on with the lie...It's a laundering operation for the Military Industrial Complex."
