GOP Congressman introduces resolution to place a 'permanent' bust of Zelensky in the US Capitol

Republican Rep Joe Wilson of South Carolina wants the US capitol to have a bust of Ukrainian president Vladimir Zelensky on permanent display.

From The Washington Times, "House Republican proposes putting a bust of Ukraine leader in U.S. Capitol":

Rep. Joe Wilson of South Carolina filed a resolution earlier this week directing the Fine Arts Board of the U.S. House of Representatives to obtain a bust of Mr. Zelenskyy for display.

The board has authority over all works of art and historical objects displayed on the House wing of the U.S. Capitol and the associated office buildings.

[...] A staunch conservative, who came under fire for shouting "you lie" at former President Obama during a 2009 address to Congress, Mr. Wilson has emerged as a strong supporter of Ukraine.

In December, he told the Charleston Post and Courier that Ukraine's fight against Russian aggression reminded him of the American Revolution.

Some how it doesn't surprise me that the rep is from the misbegotten state of south carolina - 2nd worst state just about behind california and in a close battle with tejas to be the 2nd most offensive state.

For the sake of 2023, lets just give this whole proposal a bit of rebuttal.

1. Zelensky is a piano-playing dick actor.

2. He is on the payroll.

3. There is a war going on and the ukranians are losing badly - about half a million dead already and many scores settled.

4. In the kraine there are places underground and in these places - bad things are happening.

5. A girl named dorothy got lost there and she knows not how to get back to Kansas.

6. In an effed up screwed up hateful place once known as south carolina a senator called for the death of a world leader.

7. then a rep who kissed said senator's dare-e-air daily - almost religiously as a puppet subservient to another puppet subservient to another, proposed for the glorious country of america that we place a bust to celebrate the dick playing actor from *kraine named *elensky.
