There it is, two glorious minutes of pure, unalloyed truth on national television. How often does that happen?FOX News Brett Baier (talking to Trump): Now, 15 years ago, you called yourself a liberal on health care. You were for a single-payer system, a Canadian-style system. Why were you for that then and why aren't you for it now?
TRUMP: As far as single payer, it works in Canada. It works incredibly well in Scotland. It could have worked in a different age, which is the age you're talking about here.
What I'd like to see is a private system without the artificial lines around every state. I have a big company with thousands and thousands of employees. And if I'm negotiating in New York or in New Jersey or in California, I have like one bidder. Nobody can bid.
You know why?
Because the insurance companies are making a fortune because they have control of the politicians, of course, with the exception of the politicians on this stage. (uneasy laughter) But they have total control of the politicians. They're making a fortune.
Get rid of the artificial lines and you will have...yourself great plans...
BAIER: Mr. Trump, it's not just your past support for single-payer health care. You've also supported a host of other liberal policies....You've also donated to several Democratic candidates, Hillary Clinton included, and Nancy Pelosi. You explained away those donations saying you did that to get business-related favors. And you said recently, quote, "When you give, they do whatever the hell you want them to do."
TRUMP: You'd better believe it.
BAIER: — they do?
TRUMP: If I ask them, if I need them, you know, most of the people on this stage I've given to, just so you understand, a lot of money.
TRUMP: I will tell you that our system is broken. I gave to many people, before this, before two months ago, I was a businessman. I give to everybody. When they call, I give. And do you know what? When I need something from them two years later, three years later, I call them, they are there for me. And that's a broken system.
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: What did you get from Hillary Clinton and Nancy Pelosi?
TRUMP: Well, I'll tell you what, with Hillary Clinton, I said be at my wedding and she came to my wedding. You know why?
She didn't have a choice because I gave. I gave to a foundation that, frankly, that foundation is supposed to do good. I didn't know her money would be used on private jets going all over the world. It was.
BAIER: Hold on.....We're going to — we're going to move on." (Transcript: Read the Full Text of the Primetime Republican Debate, Time)
How often does a fatcat billionaire-insider appear on TV and announce that the whole system is a big-fat scam run by crooks and patsies?
Never, that's when. But that's what Trump did last night. And that's why the clatter of ruthless miscreants who run the system behind the smokescreen of fake politicians are sharpening their knives right now before Manhattan's rogue elephant does even more damage to their precious system.
Just think about what the man said. He not only explained that the whole system is rigged (Baier: "And when you give, they do whatever the hell you want them to do."...TRUMP: "You'd better believe it."), he also said that the politicians will do whatever they're told to do. (TRUMP: Well, ...with Hillary Clinton, I said be at my wedding and she came to my wedding. You know why? She didn't have a choice because I gave.")
Doesn't that confirm your darkest suspicions about the way the system really works, that money talks and that elections are just a way to get the sheeple to rubber-stamp a corrupt, fraudulent system?
Of course, it does.
So, let's summarize: Moneybags capitalist loudmouth explains to 80 million dumbfounded Americans watching prime time TV, that the system is a total fraud, that the big money runs everything, and that even he thinks the system is broken.
How do you beat that? Seriously, my wife and I were laughing and high-fiving and like we just won the lottery.
Thanks for that, Don. We owe you one.

I wonder if he knows there are two governments, the one you see in the light of day,
and there is the shadow government that is making all the behind the scenes decisions that the
the PTB are deciding. And that is why he will not be selected by the [shadow government]
assasinations of presidents are messy to clean up
The whole art of government consists in the art of being honest. Thomas Jefferson
Honesty is the first chapter in the book of wisdom. Thomas Jefferson
He who does not offend cannot be honest. Thomas Paine
Trump was honest. They tried very hard to lay a trap for him, questioning his donations to Dems. He told the whole nation the truth about politicians who take money and return favors, allowing themselves to be bought.
What was his reward?
They now disinvite/ban him from inner GOP and conservative circles.
The sad part of that whole scenario, is that if anyone actually even heard what he said, they're either going to forget it by tomorrow, or they're to stupid to know what he meant. We've allowed a bunch of mediocre rich people to convince us that'll we're not smart enough to government ourselves and that we need rich people to tell us how to behave.
we're TOO stupid.
regarding "convince us that'll we're not smart enough to government ourselves," not sure where to start.
. . . continues his unfiltered directness and keeps keeps shining the light on the lying corrupt cockroaches who have come to infest all branches of the gov't over the years. Quite frankly, NONE of the potential candidates on either the Rep or Dem side are qualified to serve as county dog-catchers, much less as president.
While Trump, also, is not qualified to be president, if he were he to be elected, at least we'd have one who is unlikely to be bought and sold by the moneyed interests, for a change. And, one has to consider, could he possibly do more harm to the nation and to the world than the last few presidents we've had, or than the other potential candidates would do? I emphatically think not.
"fatcat"? is debatable, as most analysts don't see much money behind his claims, and what is there is subject to high market fluctuations, ie, the Fed and that game.

Could it be the case that Trump is an empty suit with no meaningful net assets other than his persona, his brand? That like a shark, he has to keep moving and keep projecting the image of great wealth, or else his empire will sink? This is consistent with the FEC disclosure document where so many of his assets are ‘marks’; in other words, he makes money by lending his name.
Trump’s FEC document impresses me as the statement of a person who does not have much of anything other than himself – he is his own product. He is the professional wrestler of the financial world – a person who is famous for being famous, the tragic product of a society that produces images instead of actual things.
Yes, he has built a few golf courses and buildings, but so have others – on a bigger scale; what he has really built is himself, or rather a caricature of himself. My suspicion is that Trump has nothing other than himself. He invented himself. He is his own brand, and that is all he is. Any crack in the mask will cause the whole thing to crumble down.
It is fitting that he gets a pension from the Screen Actors Guild.
He is an actor who plays a man worth $10 billion.

Now that sounds familiar does it not??? The rest of that article quoted above goes into more detail, but if telling the truth helps him keep his 'game' going, then yes, he will tell the truth, as long as it isn't about him and his operations, which look like a mirage, but isn't this what modern USAmericans love today? especially in the NE?
Although he told the truth in this instance, he doesn't strike me as having seen this as a bad thing, for himself. That he wouldn't do it again, for instance.
He also kicked out a woman from her house to put in a parking lot, and considered it basically as just business, without much regret, as in this youtube video: [Link]
Now she was compensated, and businesses apparently do that all the time through the government. But why wouldn't he regret it?
He doesn't kowtow to anything, not to political correctness, not to a party or to special interests, but not to any principles either. I think he differentiates himself from 14 or 15 of the 17 candidates that are recognized as Republican candidates, in that perhaps he is not a cruel monster (even that is debatable considering his past history with allegedly having violated his wife). But if he is not, what good does that do if he doesn't care about anything or is wrong on several essential issues, from minorities to economic and foreign policy?
One can argue and give intellectual arguments regarding the Trump, does anyone really think that he will win the electoral race, of course not. One thing about Donald Trump he has highlighted the mass disparity of thought regarding where the electorate's thought processes are aligned.
Bigotry, separation of and division in society, lack of cohesion for a common cause. And that common cause should and could be toward a better and more equitable and just society with the inclusion of all people regardless of race, culture and ethnic background.
One positive is he has openly disclosed that the voice of the people don't count for shit. All that matters is how much money, you have, how much that money can buy off in so called "favors".
With such a large organization I am sure he has many people that are available to do a background check (similar to the financial background check that the plebs undergo, you know, me and you) and get the so called full disclosure on that person.
Ah! that ugly word blackmail raises it's head again when you know how to play the game, and it seems the Trump is quite accomplished. Did he spill the beans, IMO maybe not, for any thinking person this has been known for a long time, for the masses it's a titillating side show for the US election process.
Question?
I understand that every presidential hopeful has to support Israel, If they don't they don't elected, simple!
Perhaps don doesn't need the Jewish money??
Quite right. He's set up to distract; to say things none of the others are allowed to say; to get people riled up. Sort of like a Rush Limbaugh: get people mad and leave them with no options.
But once the dust clears, the cardboard cutout of a 'candidate' will be placed front and center to give the impression it was placed there by the American people. The electoral system is a farce. Only big money creates these so-called 'candidates' and ALL of them, bar none, are vetted by AIPAC. If you don't grovel at the 'wailing wall', like Ron Paul's son did, you won't be going anywhere - at all.
Americans have no candidate, period. All the US has is a controlled media, created and financed by the same money that controls Hollywood and the Federal Reserve. They work hand in hand. Everything on the 'teevee' is scripted, phoney, jaded and designed with a specific message. The idea that Shillary Cunton, the cackling murderess could be considered even viable should be proof enough. I'll be celebrating 2 years of absolutely no teevee this October. And I haven't missed a thing.
All of the posturing that’s been dragged out to prove the supposedly ‘indestructible power’ behind the fake Amerikan-Empire is based on mega-lies, some of which keep on getting lost in the headlines today.
The contrasts between the realities on the ground, as the facts beneath Amerika are applied, versus the hundreds of thousands of lies must be brought to light if anyone really gives a damn about the actual state of this place that used to be called a nation.
The decisions being made at the supposedly “influential-levels of control” are all based on lies.......continued
