"I'm worried about the drumbeats of war getting louder and louder," Celente told CJAD talk show host Tommy Schumacher, Monday. "It's coinciding, as well, with the economic collapse that's happening throughout Europe."
Celente went on to say that, when sociopath and psychopath politicians get into trouble with their constituents due to a poor economy, those pols, who can divert the public's attention away from the nation's financial problems and redirect the collective anger toward the threat of an outside enemy, will use their power to take that nation to war at a politically advantageous time.
"It's reaching a critical mass right now, and I haven't felt this way since December 14, 2000," said Celente, and noted that he senses desperation in the voice and actions of Israel's, Benjamin Netanyahu, the present and very unpopular prime mister in that Mideast country. "I have that feeling now" with Netanyahu, said Celente.
"This guy, Netanyahu, he has 60 percent disapproval rating right now, and I've seen it before," Celente continued. "I remember Bill Clinton, you know, wag the dog. Every time he'd get into trouble with Monica Lewinsky, it was bomb over Baghdad. They continually do this."
After wavering earlier this summer whether to remain in the U.S. or flee from a "fascist" dictatorship shaping up in America, the 65-year-old Celente told InfoWars' talk show super-star personality, Alex Jones, that he will not allow a "bunch of freaks" in Washington chase him out. Celente said he will stay and fight.
But the personal struggle on this question continues to weigh heavily on his mind.
Whether another 9-11-like event takes place on U.S. soil or overseas, Celente now seriously contemplates fleeing America if the U.S. or Israel instigates another 9-11 incident - either through a false-flag attack or other pretension to 'justify' a politically unpopular position to attack Iran. An attack on Iran, he said, might be the 'straw that broke the camel's back' to get him to flee America for his physical safety, as he would, then, begin to mull over another trend he sees developing: jailing or "silencing" journalists.
"If the United States or Israel goes to war with Iran, it's the beginning of World War III," Celente told radio talk show host Gary Null, Tuesday. "Our lives will be hell after that. If you think we have a Gestapo state right now, you haven't seen anything yet, because it's not going to stop.
"These are the Persians; they're 70 million strong," he explain. "They've been around a long time; theyre not going to be going anywhere. And they're going to fight down to the last man. And people forget that the Iranians lost a million people between 1980 and 1988 when the United States started a war, funding Iraq to attack Iran.
"This country won't be worth living in, if we go to war with Iran. So I don't know, I just don't know what to do after that," said Celente, who audibly struggled to match the words with his own personal thoughts on the matter. "I don't know if I want to be here as much as I want to stay, because we're seeing all of our rights being abrogated from us now; it will only, only, only get much worse."
Aside from offering a peak into his mind regarding the subject of his personal quandary with the possibility of expatriation, Celente strongly advocates that Americans protect their wealth during the upcoming turmoil he sees on the horizon by holding 'physical' gold and silver.
He said, "It's all I buy, is gold and silver," and added, though his personal decision to hold precious metals is not to be construed as financial advice. Celente has repeatedly said in dozens of prior interviews that he is not a registered investment adviser, nor does he sell precious metals. But gold and silver are the only money he has outside of working capital for his business, The Trends Research Institute.

IMO, not much will change in the immediate aftermath. Most likely a few false flag ops to help the NWO-global police state come out of the closet, but the Western global economy is already to start the next leg down as any look at the long term charts will show you. The Precious Metals are about to do the opposite as is their pattern and tendency throughout history. As long as our local rulers can keep everyone invested in the old system, they can easily pull it out from under them. It's all digital now, thus Celente's call for physical purchase of gold and silver coins.
Like a baby before it's second birthday, time is counted in months. They can 'wag the dog' all they want as those killing scenarios play out in various cities in the USA, but even they aren't keeping the public's attention anymore. The last one isn't heard from anymore, perhaps because it was Sikhs and not Christians or Jews, but still with the 'lone man' tag taking a hit from those videos reports of a tag-team hit on the facility, it's no wonder and a sign of the times.... the sheeple are bored with that routine unless it hits them directly. So, perhaps the mass callout of the MC's will be next? Sooner or later that card has to be played, otherwise why have them?
Another 9-11 will have to be for the American publics consumption as everything else is meaningless in empire-building terms. The PTB are losing the attention of their audience.
...why not learn new skills and develop your personal repertoire of self-sufficiency? Regardless of what happens in the future, those who have the skills and abilities that others need are the ones who will not only need "money" but will also be able to help the most people in times of need. What can be more personally satisfying (to a non-psychopath) than that? Let's face it -- the issue buying gold and silver (or whatever is considered "valuable") is just an attempt to alleviate the fear and uncertainty that we perceive or foresee. Would it not be a more desirable approach to eliminate the source of fear and uncertainty instead? If you are able to prosper in a world without "money", does that need inherently resolve these types of issues?
But he's not stupid.
His business is forecasting, so I tend to take him seriously.
He also sees through to the criminality, which is refreshing and adds spice to his rhetoric.
But advice such as "abandon ship!" won't do for the "average Joe."
We will stand and fight for our lives, or we will die - if it comes to that.
It HAS come to that for many people, and I see this happening more and more in the West, not just in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.
"This country won't be worth living in, if we go to war with Iran. So I don't know, I just don't know what to do after that,"
And he thinks its worth living in now? I'm not sure everyone would agree with that.
I know most people don't have a choice as to what heavy handed tactics their own leaders use on them, but this guy is coming across like someone from pre-WWII Germany. Perhaps people should listen, or else be prepared to repeat the mistakes of history.
After the passage of the Patriot Act it was a no brainer to liquidate all US holdings, convert assets into precious metals and leave the country. This is what I did. I hope things work out well for those who choose a different approach. I prefer to take the lessons of history seriously.
I agree but I wonder how many discarded that idea and no longer have that option (due to failing finances) when it wasn't supposed to matter where you are?
First they milk the people of all money they can - be it investments, mortgages, pensions, welfare - steal as much as they can from the population, wherever they can until the last drop.
Then plunder for all the resources on the planet and milk as much money from that to - as well as anything else that may be useful to them.
Know the true likely 'future' of our dear planet they then think that after milking everyone and everything of all they can, decimating everywhere along the way, that they can hunker down in relative saftey and wait it out.
Well I agree with JustPassingThru. Skills, Self Work, Networking, Local Support System, and alternative currency as well as self sufficiency is the sensible option in a world gone deranged.
Enjoy the show, help where you can, be prepared to pick up the pieces in the aftermath, or fearlessly and happily just walk through the door to your next series of lessons and learning. Hopefully far more the wiser.
At a higher level we chose these times of turmoil and change for faster inner growth and learning.
Others chose to take and plunder whatever they could, dessimate the planet and cause as much suffering to every living thing on our BBM. They too will get their lessons - of a totally different sort.
All that matters in the grand scheme of things is our inner life - who we are. Plus the best possible outcome for our long-suffering planet and our Universe. If not our universe then such is also happening in other universes. All is just BALANCE.
Our raison d'etre = The Work, To BE, To DO with out best of intentions. Blessings.

"will use their power to take that nation to war at a politically advantageous time. "
And, I might add, at a strategically bad time.
Such an action has already been shown to be extremely fraught with peril for America. After that, trade with us will probably cease, and with it will go the very infrastructure that is in place to rule. America will come apart at the seams.
The answer to the problem of drawing the short straw is not to engage in that game. Ix-nay on the war-say.
