The greater Kansas City, Missouri, area has seen a higher than normal number of UFO sightings recently, according to state members of the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON).
On July 31, two witnesses saw a "low flying spherical object" that was glowing a bright red-orange color. They said the object was above or near the AT&T building as they observed it from 1700 Walnut.
The object began to move toward the airport and they lost sight of it. The witnesses then went up to a building rooftop and again were able to observe the object.
"It passed right in front of the AT&T building right below the sign," the witness stated, "which is less than a mile from where I was standing. All I saw was a spherical object, very bright, glowing red and orange."
Please keep in mind that most UFO reports can be explained as something natural or manmade. If Missouri MUFON State Director Debbie Ziegelmeyer investigates and reports back on this case, I will update this page. The following report is unedited. You can read my selected cases by type of UFO report at the UFO Traffic Report
index page.
