Witness Statement: I was at the village hall in Matfield, when I saw a hole appear in the clouds, and a huge fireball come out of it. As there was lightening about, I just ignored it. On the way home, as I was driving along the A267, A very very bright white light in the shape of a horseshoe with a misty cloud in the middle of it, appeared behind me in my rear view mirror. I kept watching in my mirror, and it appeared to gather speed behind me. I thought it was a motorbike at first, but it was far too bright, and also looked as if it had depth.

It followed me around a couple of bends, then just disappeared, but there was a misty cloud in front of me, which I thought was just mist, but as I went through it, it was insects, thousands of them, all flying out of the hedgerows, and I felt a sort of static feeling in the air. Very very strange.
