Multiple local law enforcement sources who spoke to Fox News Digital laid partial blame for the deteriorating condition of a North Carolina tourist town on the city's liberal political leadership and on left-wing activists who undermine police.

"I think what you're seeing in Asheville right now is a culmination of the last several years of pulling police back and not letting them do their jobs like they're able to do," former Buncombe County Sheriff Van Duncan told Fox News Digital in a phone interview.

Asheville, a city of approximately 90,000 people nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Buncombe County, North Carolina, has seen a 31% surge in violent crime per 100,000 people from 2016 to 2020, according to statistics released in the spring. Asheville's growth in violent crime is nearly double that of the national average and ranks among the highest in North Carolina, where violent crime has increased 13% statewide.

Nearly 900 young healthy athletes confirmed dead in 18 months, as British Heart Foundation releases ad 'normalizing' heart attacks in children

athlete collapse
The online journal Real Science is tracking athlete deaths and adverse events from the time of the release of experimental Covid injections in January 2021 through August 31 of this year.

The journal has listed, named and catalogued by country every athlete who has suffered a serious adverse event or died. This is not an exhaustive list but it's better than any other I've seen thus far.

Almost all of these vaccine casualties have had their cause of death classified as "unknown."

Prior to the release of the Covid injections, the average athlete deaths per year was 29, according to the International Olympic Committee research. Compare that to the nearly 900 known athlete deaths recorded over the last 18 months, all of which have been unexplained.

According to Real Science, available data shows that worldwide professional soccer match cardiovascular deaths in 2021 were 300% higher than the 12-year average.

Italian farmers protest forced slaughter of 140,000 cattle and soaring cost of energy

Italian farmers reportedly gathered in Caserta to protest the forced slaughter of cattle and the energy price increase on Tuesday, September 13.

Footage of the Italian farmers' protest following the forced slaughter of cattle and the increase in energy prices was shared on Twitter:

"Italian farmers also rise up. Hundreds of tractors block Caserta en masse to protest against the forced slaughter of 140,000 head of cattle and the increase in energy prices."

Comment: There isn't much more information available online yet as to why so many cattle are being forced to the slaughter, however, over in the UK, up to 200,000 pigs were culled because they were 'too big to be sold in supermarket packaging'; similar mandates for mass culls are being threatened over in Ireland, Canada, and the Netherlands; and there have been moves by some in the Italian government to push through legislation allowing the use of GMOs, and so the likelihood of this occurring isn't without precedent.

Ukrainian women refugees assaulted in France by former Ukrainian soldier who mistook them for Russians

Police have arrested the man responsible for assaulting two Ukrainian women in France. While the man was initially believed to be Russian, a press release by the prosecutor in Nice on Wednesday has revealed the assailant is in fact a former Ukrainian soldier.

The two victims, Ukrainian refugees Alina and her mother Elena, initially reported that their assailant was a Russian-speaking man who apparently attacked them for listening to Ukrainian music on their phones as they were walking along the beach. "When we heard how he spoke, we understood" that he was Russian, Alina told local news outlets. The two women sustained several injuries in the attack as doctors say Elena has a broken nose, while Alina may have suffered a concussion.

Comment: By now there's a wealth of evidence showing that Ukraine's neo-Nazi aligned military is riddled with criminals and pathological types; that he was so casual about what was clearly a violent assault is telling. Note also that this is what he did whilst in another country, because we know that back at home Ukrainian soldiers are guilty of some of the most violent human rights crimes, and not just against male POW's: Also check out SOTT radio's: NewsReal: Ukraine Retakes Kharkov - West Wars on Self - QEII Death Ends Era

EU has 'obvious solution' to solve energy crisis - Gazprom

NStream2
© Sputnik/Yekaterina SolovyovaGerman authorities said any leak from the pipeline could not have occurred at its landing point in Lubmin, Germany.
The launch of Russia's Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline could ease the energy crisis in Europe, Gazprom Deputy Chairman Oleg Aksyutin said at a plenary session of the St. Petersburg International Gas Forum (SPIGF 2022) on Thursday.
"The launch of Nord Stream 2 could solve the problem of balancing the gas market in Europe, but we see that this obvious solution is resisted by European politicians.

"There is simply no appropriate alternative to the supply of Russian pipeline gas for Europe. No country is capable of providing resources comparable to the resources and fields of Siberia and the Yamal Peninsula. No one can increase supply using pipeline systems on the terms offered by Gazprom."
Aksyutin said that Brussels' stance on Russian gas and the measures the EU is taking to lower dependence on it dooms the European economy to inefficiency and a loss of competitiveness.

He also criticized the bloc's aspirations to replace Russian pipeline gas with liquefied natural gas (LNG) imports from across the ocean, stressing that LNG "does not appear on the market by magic" and that it is unlikely the supply of LNG to the global market will increase notably in the next two years.

Comment: 'Ax' and ye shall receive:
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has been filmed chopping wood, which he promised to send to the EU amid the looming energy crisis. The video was shared on social media on Wednesday. Lukashenko, while chopping a large fir log with an ax in a clip published by a Telegram channel linked to his press service, said:
"Let's not let Europe freeze. Let's help our brothers, maybe they'll help us some day, too. That's some good firewood. In the current situation, Europe can't be picky about the type of wood used for heating, as "the main thing for them is to get warm somehow. We must make sure that farmers and workers receive it, but not the rich people."

"It's also important that Polish President Andrzej Duda and PM Mateusz Morawiecki 'don't freeze' this winter. They are our neighbors. Maybe they'll come to their senses."
Polish government leaders have been harsh critics of Lukashenko. Warsaw supported the anti-government protests in Belarus in 2020 and 2021.

Docs reveal College Board to push extremist politics further into K-12

A hugely influential private organization plans to release courses that will teach America's top students extreme racial and other leftist politics, all with public institutions and funds, according to documents obtained by researcher Stanley Kurtz. The College Board, whose products are sold in almost every American high school, is developing curricula modeled on colleges' identity politics departments such as gender and racial studies, the documents show.

A draft Kurtz obtained of College Board's forthcoming Advanced Placement African American Studies (APAAS) course shows, he writes:
APAAS clearly proselytizes for a socialist transformation of the United States, although its socialism is heavily inflected by attention to race and ethnicity. ...

The topic descriptions sound neutral, but the readings almost uniformly consist of neo-Marxist agitation — pleas for a socialist transformation of America, inspired by African Americans and infused with their cultural style. APAAS's 'debates,' such as they are, explore precisely what sort of leftist radical you should be.

Two illegal migrant buses from Texas arrive outside VP Kamala Harris' DC residence

President Joe Biden's reluctant border czar, Vice President Kamala Harris, had the migrant crisis dropped on her doorstep Thursday morning.

Two buses carrying about 100 migrants from Texas were deposited at the gate of her residence at the Naval Observatory in Washington, DC — putting the issue squarely in the path of the crisis-dodging veep.

The migrants, many of them Venezuelan nationals, had been picked up in Eagle Pass, Texas, and were then shipped off to DC by Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, Fox News Digital reported.

Video from the scene showed a large group of men, women and children carrying small pillows and backpacks, some with blankets draped over their shoulders to keep off the morning chill as they milled about and chatted among themselves outside the guarded gates of Harris' residence.

Comment: More from the Fox News report:
The group includes migrants from Venezuela, Uruguay, Colombia and Mexico. Multiple migrants, asked by Fox News Digital, said they think the border is open, contrary to what Harris said Sunday during an interview.

Brianne Nadeau, a member of the Council of the District of Columbia, blamed the governors of Texas and Arizona for the city's public migrant emergency.

Speaking in a situational update on migrant support alongside Bowser, she said Thursday that the city's systems were not set up to serve the migrants that continue to arrive in the city from the southern states.

"So, it's been said, but it's worth reiterating, that the governors of Texas and Arizona have created this crisis. And, the federal government has not stepped up to assist the District of Columbia," she told reporters. "So we, along with our regional partners, we'll do what we've always done. We'll rise to the occasion."

That's rich coming from the mayor of the epicenter of the crisis.

Abbott argues that border towns in Texas are overwhelmed, and those in power in the liberal-run cities should face the realities of the border crisis.

Eric Swalwell: 'Soulless' of DeSantis to send illegal immigrants to Martha's Vineyard

Far-left Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA), perhaps best-known for his explicit relationship with Chinese spy Fang Fang, believes Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) is "soulless" for sending illegal immigrants to Martha's Vineyard.

The Democrat began by admitting there is a major issue on the southern border. However, that does not mean, according to Swalwell, open borders Democrats should have to deal with the ramifications of their policies in their own cities.

"Does America face a migration issue at our border because of poor economic and security conditions in countries south of us? Of course," he said, accusing DeSantis of exploiting the crisis by sending illegal immigrants to blue areas that champion themselves as sanctuary areas.

"Should we exploit that crisis by using desperate humans as political pawns. Hell no. This is so sick," he said, concluding that DeSantis is "soulless" for sending illegal immigrants to the elite island.

"It takes a soulless man to do this," he lamented:
