The human shit could be treated like farmers here treat pig shit. Put it in a tank with the right bacteria, where it eats and detoxifies the shit producing large quantities of methane that can be burnt for heat and power, the CO² it produces is carbon neutral, having been taken out of the air in the first place. Leaving grade A fertiliser and massively reducing the need for clean water in traditional sewage treatment.
When I win the lottery it's second only to a hemp farm and the hemp oil, thread and paper production on my to do list.
Tangentially related, one thing I've learned is there seems to be a tipping point where the honor system is useless, and it's because of lose-lose game theory masquerading as win-lose, which could also be described as "Moloch" wherein you act against everyone's long term interest for short term personal gain. Does anybody really believe that Organic Farmers have any difficulties growing what and how they grew before? Nothing changed for Permaculture projects - because they operate like Nature and do not require outside supplements to farm.
Plants don't need anything but healthy soil. And that, the Nazis from Monsatan et al have destroyed. The soil biome in the U.S. and other western values regimes is dead. Deader than rocks. And without chemical shit, pesticides and herbicides and other toxic substances - only artificial frankenstein crop will grow.
Good riddance to the idustrial pharming shit.

I have my own large victory garden and do organic gardening and create my own soil through composting, compost tea etc. It takes discipline means you don't throw everything in garbage can. Chop and drop putting what you take out of soil back into it etc.
Industrial farming is also killing us with contaiminated food. Very few people realize you can use urine as fertilizer and it is not hard to process it. Understanding what plants use what minerals, and bacterial dominated verses fungal dominated and using mycrorizah to promote uptake of nutrients etc.
Industrial farming produces food that is deficient in trace elements as it is really about replacing NPK not trace elements.
