The American Civil Liberties Union won't back hate groups who carry loaded firearms, the organization says. The ACLU came under fire after it filed a lawsuit in defense of Unite the Right organizers ahead of their fatal rally.

A statement released Thursday by three ACLU California affiliates said they will not defend hate groups which want to incite violence or carry loaded guns. The civil rights group represented Jason Kessler, the organizer of Unite the Right, as they were denied a permit before the Charlottesville, Virginia rally on August 12. They were eventually granted the permit.

Hundreds of Neo-Nazis are expected to gather in Berlin to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the death of Hitler's first deputy and right-hand man Rudolf Hess. A counter-rally has also been announced in the German capital.

The rally started at 12pm local time and heavily-armored police already separated the Neo-Nazis from counter-demonstration in the capital, AP reported.

Some 500 people are expected to join the rally in the Spandau area of Berlin, German media reported.

Hillary Clinton gets destroyed on Twitter for not condemning Islamic terrorism after Barcelona attack

Hillary Clinton
Thirteen people are dead and over 100 injured after an Islamic terrorist plowed over pedestrians with a van in Barcelona on Thursday.

Like many other cowardly 'leaders' in the U.S., Hillary Clinton refused to condemn Islamic terrorism following the deadly attack. Instead, she called Thursday's terrorist attack a 'cowardly attack' and didn't mention Islam at all. In contrast, Hillary was going crazy after the Charlottesville violence, harshly condemning Nazi's, white supremacists and the KKK.

Hillary Clinton sent out ONE tweet saying, "Barcelona, you have our resolve and support in the face of this cowardly attack. We stand together against terrorism wherever it strikes."

In contrast, Hillary Clinton sent out FIVE tweets following the violence in Charlottesville and she specifically condemned white supremacists.

Comment: Bear in mind that Islamic terrorism only exists because of Israel, and US policies from Bush/Cheney to the present.

Domestic destabilization is underway: 'The left is fueling and funding tensions in order to exacerbate them and cause a revolution'

America's far-left protesters
Under the guise of "political correctness," cities (such as Baltimore, MD) are removing their Confederate monuments one-by-one and under cover of darkness. Here, as reported by CBS News:
"The Robert E. Lee and Thomas J. "Stonewall" Jackson monument at Wyman Park Dell was removed with a crowd watching. The Robert B. Taney monument in Mt. Vernon also came down. Crews are on the site of the confederate Women's monument at University Parkway to take that one down. This comes just days after the Baltimore City Council passed a resolution Monday calling for the immediate deconstruction of these monuments."
There it is! Straight out of the movie "The Patriot" with Mel Gibson, as with the character he played, Benjamin Martin: "An elected legislature can trample a man's rights as easily as a king."

Where's the vote by the people in the city? Oh, just that the elected officials, mind you, can make such a decision...by their vote, a tyranny in itself. At the bare minimum, it should have been put to a vote.

A man armed with a knife has attacked pedestrians in the Russian city of Surgut, injuring seven. Police killed the assailant, the local branch of the Investigative Committee reported.

The knife attacks happened at around 11:20am local time. Nobody was killed, but the victims of the violence required medical treatment, the report said. Law enforcement initially reported the number of victims as eight, but corrected the statement later.

The attacker was shot dead by a police patrol responding to the emergency reported by witnesses. The man resisted an attempt to arrest him even after a warning shot was fired in the air, the Investigative Committee reported.

The attacker was identified as a Surgut resident in his early 20s, the committee said.

The Surgut police are trying to establish the motive for his stabbing spree.

Calexit 3? Proposed ballot measure marks California's new attempt to secede from U.S.

Calexit 3
© Taryn LunaYes California Independence Campaign on Nov. 9, 2016 discusses a budding movement to make California a standalone nation. Marcus Ruiz Evans, shown here, later quit the group, and on Aug. 17, 2017 pushed a new effort calling for a constitutional convention.
First there was Calexit. Then came Calexit II.

On Thursday, people unhappy with California's place in the United States filed yet another proposed ballot measure that could lead to the Golden State striking out on its own.

This time, the goal is convening a U.S. constitutional convention to overhaul what proponents call a moldy national blueprint out of step with life in California.

The measure says a reworked Constitution should include a provision creating a "clear and reasonable path for states to achieve complete independence from the United States should any state so choose." No state has become independent under the existing U.S. Constitution.

Comment: And, for various reasons, citizens of California aren't the only ones wanting to secede, see:

Shades of Charlottesville: Anti-fascist & far-right groups plan simultaneous Barcelona protests

Barcelona

Just one day after an attack claimed at least 14 lives on Barcelona's Las Ramblas boulevard, opposing political factions look set to face-off near the scene of the terrorist atrocity.

Members of the Spanish far-right group La Falange, are planning to assemble close to the La Boquería marketplace in the city center, just 500 meters from where a van was deliberately driven into scores of pedestrians.

La Falange has blamed the "policies of multiculturalism" and immigration for Thursday's terror attack in Barcelona city center. Boasting a followership of more than 11,000 on Facebook, the group regularly shares anti-Islamic sentiment online.

Tributes have also been paid by the group online to Onésimo Redondo, a 1930s Falangist politician and anti-semitic author.
