Horrific: Mexican cartel dismembers, grills innocent civilians

Mexico murder cartel
© Breitbart Texas / Cartel Chronicles
MORELIA, Michoacán - One of the Mexican cartels fighting for control of this state escalated their terrorist activities by dismembering innocent victims and roasting their body-parts to leverage local support. Such tactics are becoming a part of everyday life in this state while officials continue to minimize regional safety concerns.

This week, members of the Nueva Familia Michoacana Cartel carried out a series of gory executions in the rural areas between Apatzingán and La Ruana. Operatives kidnapped 11 victims from which the remains of only three were recovered. The victims were not rival cartel members-only local residents who refused to support the Nueva Familia Michoacana. Cartel gunmen severed the heads from their bodies and then cut various body-parts off. The cartel placed some of the human remains on a grill and cooked them.

Comment: Mexico is paying the price of years of condoning corrupt practices that have allowed crime to flourish to insane extremes. What future is there for a country when its population is faced with such horrors?

The original article contains pictures of the remains of the victims. Be warned, they are graphic and disturbing.

Times of terror demand greater situational awareness (of the true source of terror)

tiroteo Las Vegas
You see the truck barreling toward you and bodies and bicycles flying through the air. You hear the screeching of metal on metal, and the shards of shattered glass tinkling to the pavement. You smell the diesel fumes, you feel the surge of adrenaline and taste dry copper on the dry roof of your mouth.

Time stands still. It's a moment of truth. What do you do?

It's a question that every one of us needs to be asking ourselves today, tomorrow and every single day in this perplexing and violent world.

Americans are tough. We show resilience. Americans know when to unite as one. It has been more than 16 years since the savage terrorist assaults of 9/11, and yet yesterday's attack in New York and the recent Las Vegas massacre remind all of us how vulnerable we can feel at times.

Comment: Actually, Americans, in general, are not tough, and they're not resilient. They're extremely hystericizied. Which is something that those Americans who are paying attention need to remember at all times.

Comment: Americans cannot "move forward" as long as the true source of "these barbarisms" remains unseen.

Dem Rep Calls Black Pro-life Woman Ignorant When She Pushes Back on His Argument about Abortion

Rep. Steve Cohen (D-TN)
Rep. Steve Cohen (D-TN)
Rep. Steve Cohen (D-TN) became very angry Wednesday during a hearing about a bill that would prohibit abortion after a fetal heartbeat is detected. He called Star Parker, a pro-life advocate and president of the Center for Urban Renewal and Education (CURE), ignorant because she told him it was "disingenuous" to equate abortion with other challenges facing poor communities as he did in his earlier questioning.

"If you believe in life you should believe in Medicaid, healthcare, nutrition for people who are here," Cohen asserted during the hearing, "and preventing the eventuality of backroom abortions and where only the wealthy can afford to go where they may be legal, making poor women even more poor."

"When it comes to mixing the abortion issue with the challenges that we face in many of our hard-hit communities," Parker said later in response, "I feel it disingenuous that the issues of Medicaid would come up and other opportunities for us to readdress what has happened and broken down in our most distressed zip codes, the way that Planned Parenthood specifically targets these particular zip codes with abortion."

Colorado Walmart shooting: 3 dead, no suspect in custody, police say

Police are hunting for a man Thursday morning after a shooter walked into a Colorado Walmart store the night before and shot and killed two men and a woman, police said.

The shooter allegedly walked into the Walmart in Thorton, a suburb north of Denver, just after 6 p.m. Wednesday and "nonchalantly" opened fire at the crowd of shoppers, police said. Employees dashed to the back room and hid there as shots rang out before running out of the back door about five to 10 minutes later, FOX31 Denver said.

"I was just picking up my last item and about to head towards the checkout," a witness at the store told FOX31. "Heard two slow pops that sounded like they were coming from the front checkout area and then started to run as about four more shots rang out a little faster. At that point everyone was just running and screaming."

Comment: Something is 'in the air' in the US - again! There may be a time in which instead of being surprised at periods of violence, we will be surprised at the relatively quiet ones.

It's "a national duty" to rape women who wear ripped jeans ~ Egyptian lawyer

"Girls must respect themselves so others respect them. Protecting morals is more important than protecting borders," lawyer Nabih Al-Wahsh said during a panel discussion on TV. He doubled down on his comments, adding that it was "a national duty" to rape girls who wear ripped jeans, as he claimed they were inciting sexual harassment.

Al-Wahsh is notorious for his controversial statements and has stirred up national controversy while drawing the ire of feminists and women's rights activists for the remarks he made in October. Al-Wahsh appeared in a heated debate about "sexual deviance, debauchery" and prostitution on the Infirad show on the Al-Assema channel in mid-October.

Not Convinced: Study Shows Islamic Terrorism is Islamic

Islamic terrorism
Western leaders insist that Islamic terrorism has nothing to do with Islam. Evidence to the contrary appeared again this week from Mohamad Jamal Khweis, an ISIS recruit from the United States who said in a 2016 interview with Kurdistan24, "Our daily life was basically prayer, eating and learning about the religion for about eight hours." Khweis was sentenced to 20 years in prison on October 27 for providing material support to ISIS, according to CBS News.

As early as 2001, immediately after 9/11, then-President George W. Bush gave a speech in which he claimed that in the United States, the terrorist acts in which over 3,000 people were killed "violate the fundamental tenets of the Islamic faith" and that "Islam is peace".

Twelve years and many spectacular terrorist attacks later, in 2013, when two jihadists murdered Lee Rigby in broad daylight in London, the prime minister at the time, David Cameron, declared that the attack was "a betrayal of Islam... there is nothing in Islam that justifies this truly dreadful act".

In January 2015, jihadists in Paris shouting "Allahu Akbar" attacked Charlie Hebdo and a kosher supermarket, murdering 15 people. French President François Hollande said that the jihadists had "nothing to do with the Muslim faith".

Two years later, when a jihadist targeted the very heart of European democratic civilization, the Houses of Parliament and Westminster Bridge, British PM Theresa May said: "It is wrong to describe this as Islamic terrorism. It is Islamist terrorism and the perversion of a great faith".

Comment: While these examples are of Western powers saying what they need to say in order to appeal to the public, it does not discount that many Muslims do not support ISIS or consider them to be a legitimate state. Examples here, and here.

Comment: Al Azhar sounds pretty un-Islamic if all you are taught there is one version of it; the kind that encourages terrorism. From this article:
According to the most recent data released by the Egyptian government, there were 297,000 students studying at al-Azhar University in 2013 and 2014. In 2015, there were 39,000 foreign students studying at al-Azhar. These students are taught the theological legitimacy of cannibalizing infidels, gruesome ways to torture non-Muslims to death, and the importance of raping and humiliating non-Muslim women. This explains why numerous Egyptian public figures and intellectuals have called for a terrorism investigation of al-Azhar University. For example, Egyptian historian, Sayyid Al-Qemany, called upon the Egyptian government to designate al-Azhar University as terrorist organization.

[...]

Al-Azhar was also responsible for the imprisonment of another very popular Muslim scholar, Sheikh Mohammed Abdallah Nasr, for adopting a non-theocratic modern interpretation of Islam, landing him an unprecedented 13-year prison sentence for blasphemy with hard labor. Incredibly, one of the formal charges in al-Azhar's court case against Mr. Nasr, is that he criticized Khalid ibn el-Waleed (585 -642), a Muslim warrior and sacred Sunni figure for being a rapist and a cannibal. During a televised debate with radical al-Azhar University scholars, Mr. Nasr scrutinized el-Waleed, for decapitating a Muslim poet, Malik ibn Nuwayrah, cooking his head and eating from it, before raping Nuwayrah's wife. Mr. Nasr's criticism of the Muslim warrior and cannibal was among the official reasons for his conviction. Speaking to al-Azhar scholars Mr. Nasr said, "you wonder where terrorism is coming from? It's from your religious heritage."
As to the final question:
How much longer can the West afford to ignore reality?
When it comes to IS being Islamic, the West isn't really ignoring it - Western governments and their intel agencies created it. The West is capitalizing on the fact that Islamic State has taken Islamic theology to the extreme and enabling them, by their support of these groups, to terrorize Western and Middle Eastern populations and destabilize the ME region.
