King Charles has been diagnosed with a form of cancer, says Buckingham Palace.

The type of cancer has not been revealed - it is not prostate cancer, but was discovered during his recent treatment for an enlarged prostate.

The King began "regular treatments" on Monday and will postpone public duties during it, the Palace said.

The Monarch, 75, "remains wholly positive about his treatment and looks forward to returning to full public duty as soon as possible," it added.

No further details are being shared on the stage of cancer or a prognosis.

Charles informed both his sons personally about his diagnosis and the Prince of Wales was said to be in regular contact with his father.

Israel's prisons holding Palestinians 'violate human dignity', new report reveals - The Jerusalem Post

Gilboa Prison

A new report published by the public defender on Tuesday morning reveals a troubling picture of the conditions in which prisoners are held in the aftermath of the war in Gaza. According to the Supreme Court ruling, the Israel Security Service (Shin Bet) must ensure a minimum living space of 4.5-4 square meters, which includes a bed and mattress for each prisoner.

It was determined that the implementation of the ruling would take place in two stages, gradually reducing the number of prisoners and opening additional prison wings. However, the Israel-Hamas War and the wave of arrests that followed have increased the number of prisoners from 16,000 to over 20,000. As a result, National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir declared a state of emergency in prisons, allowing the Shin Bet to deviate from the regulations imposed on the organization.

The overcrowding in cells is only growing, and "the conditions violate human dignity and the human image," as stated in the report. "Even when dealing with those convicted of serious crimes, the detainee's right to sleep on a mattress is a fundamental part of the minimal conditions given to a person as part of defending his dignity. Moreover, according to international law, holding a prisoner in an area less than 3 square meters is considered cruel, inhuman, and degrading punishment."

Comment: And this is just what The Jerusalem Post will admit, which, as you'll see below, is barely scratching the surface. The Jerusalem Post is one of the rare dissenting news outlets within Israel, along with Haaretz - and oftentimes they entirely tow the party line.

However, it takes just a few moments on X to find first hand testimony, as well as other proofs, of just how institutionally sadistic and depraved Israel's prisons for Palestinians are:

MAID expansion temporarily halted in Canada

Chart of Deaths
© Armstrong Economics
Canada is delaying the expansion of its MAID (Medical Aid in Dying) program as they cannot find enough doctors willing to kill people who do not have terminal illnesses. Over 13,500 Canadians were legally euthanized in 2022 under MAID. State-sanctioned suicides rose significantly from 2021 (10,064) to 2022, and Health Canada expects the number to skyrocket once the program is expanded. In fact, 4.1% of all deaths in Canada during 2022 were through the MAID program. Suicide is now encouraged by the Canadian health system as they aim to normalize the option for non-terminal ailments.

"Will we evolve into a culture of death as the preferred option for those who suffer from mental illness or will we choose life?" Conservative MP Ed Fast questioned. The expansion scheduled for March 17, 2024, has been temporarily halted as they cannot find enough doctors willing to abandon their Hippocratic oath and become executioners rather than treatment providers. The initial program was aimed at those who were suffering a slow and painful inevitable death, or so it seemed.

Globalists will use carbon controls to stop you from growing your own food

no farmers no food
In early 2020 in the midst of the covid lockdowns, blue states run by leftist governors pursued mandates with extreme prejudice. In red states like Montana, after the first month or two most of us simply ignored the restrictions and went on with life as usual. It was clear that covid was not the threat federal authorities made it out to be. However, in states like Michigan the vise was squeezed tighter and tighter under the direction of shady leaders like Gretchen Whitmer.

Whitmer used covid as an opportunity to institute some bizarre limitations on the public, including a mandate barring larger stores from selling seeds and garden supplies to customers. "If you're not buying food or medicine or other essential items, you should not be going to the store," Whitmer said when announcing her order. The leftist governor was fine with purchases of lottery tickets and liquor, but not gardening tools and seeds.

She never gave a logical reason why she targeted garden supplies, but most people in the preparedness community understood very well what this was all about: This was a beta-test for wider restrictions on food independence. There was widespread rhetoric in the media throughout 2020 attacking anyone stockpiling necessities as "hoarders," and now they were going after people planning ahead and trying to grow their own food. The establishment did NOT want people to store or produce a personal food supply.

UK supermarket suffers 44% increase in crime in 2023, staff complain police failing to turn up

COOP uk shop supermarket
Decision comes as grocery retailer reports 1,000 incidents a day in 2023, with shopworkers suffering physical assaults
The Co-op is installing in its supermarkets more than 200 secure till kiosks, locked cabinets for bottles of spirits and AI technology to monitor self-checkouts after a 44% surge in retail crime last year to about 1,000 incidents a day.

The grocery retailer, which has more than 2,400 stores across the UK, said its undercover security guards detained 3,361 individuals across its stores last year for a range of offences including burglary, abuse and harassment, amid a surge in physical assaults on its staff.

Despite spending £200m on new security measures, including additional guards and a roving undercover team targeting crime hotspots, the supermarket group suffered a 48% rise in shoplifting incidents to almost 298,000.

Madness: New York father loses legal battle to stop his son, 8, from taking puberty blockers to change gender

gender transition child 1
Matthew aged three, as a boy. His parents had split up but his father, Dennis Hannon, saw him every week
New York family court officials have denied a father the legal right to stop his eight-year-old son taking life-changing hormones that would begin his medical transition to a girl.

Dennis Hannon, 32, a senior software engineer from Buffalo, has been locked in a 'nightmare' legal battle with Erie Supreme Court spanning seven years, fighting to retain his fundamental parental rights.

He claims that the boy's mother 'pushed' their child's transition, and says the boy himself was not distressed about living as a boy.

What's more, a year after the court's ruling, the young child, Matthew*, reverted back to his original male gender and is now 'a regular little boy.'

However, the father has lost any say in medical decisions about his son and sees him for just a few hours every week.

He cannot afford to appeal to regain full custody.

Winning! EU drops Net Zero demands after farmers' protests

farmer protests
The European Union has backed down on Net Zero targets for agriculture, including drastic cuts in fertiliser and pesticide use and a recommendation that people eat less meat, following widespread protests from farmers. The Telegraph has more.
The European Union has caved in to angry protests from farmers and cut a target to slash agricultural emissions as part of the bloc's net zero drive.

A demand to reduce nitrogen, methane and other emissions linked to farming by almost a third has been removed from a wider Brussels plan to cut greenhouse gas emissions by 90% by 2040.

On Tuesday, Ursula von der Leyen, the European Commission president, also proposed withdrawing the EU's plan to halve the use of pesticides, calling it a "symbol of polarisation".

"Our farmers deserve to be listened to," she told the European Parliament.

"I know that they are worried about the future of agriculture and their future as farmers. But they also know that agriculture needs to move to a more sustainable model of production so that their farms remain profitable in the years to come."

A recommendation urging EU citizens to eat less meat was also removed from the plan.

The concessions came amid mounting demonstrations by farmers in Belgium, France, Germany and Italy ahead of this year's EU elections.

Blockades on supermarket distribution centres have left shelves empty in Brussels, while several people have been injured in traffic accidents caused by farmers' protests in the Netherlands, as they dumped rubbish and set fires on highways.

Best of the Web: It's happening! Tucker Carlson reveals Putin interview plans

Comment: If only for the copious hysteria and seething this is generating in ultra-liberals from Brussels to New York City, we approve!

The Ukraine conflict has reshaped the military and economic balance of power around the world but most Americans have no idea because their media has fawned over Vladimir Zelensky and refused to talk to his Russian counterpart, former Fox News host Tucker Carlson said on Tuesday.

Carlson, who launched his own network on X (formerly Twitter) in June 2022, posted a short video from Moscow, explaining the logic behind his upcoming interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Most Western media outlets are corrupt and "lie to their readers and viewers," mainly by omission, Carlson argued. There has been no effort to speak to Putin since the conflict started in 2022, while US outlets have conducted many "fawning pep sessions" posing as interviews with Zelensky, he added.

Comment: Tucker has confirmed his interview will be released on February 8th at 6PM EST. More from RT:
Conservative American journalist Tucker Carlson has said on Instagram that his interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin will be aired at 6pm EST on Thursday.

Carlson, who launched his own network on X (formerly Twitter) in June 2023, traveled to Moscow for a sit-down with Putin. The Kremlin confirmed the meeting on Tuesday.

The Russian president rarely grants one-on-one interviews to foreign press. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has said that Putin has "no desire" to speak to Western media outlets that have "completely one-sided" opinions and "aren't even trying to be impartial."

The Jordanian and Dutch air forces have parachuted supplies to a field hospital run by Jordan's military in northern Gaza.

The Dutch role in the operation, which was announced late on Sunday, "comes in support of Jordanian humanitarian efforts" in the besieged enclave, the official Jordanian news agency Petra reported.

Jordan has two field hospitals in Gaza - Field Hospital 77 in the north and Field Hospital 2 in the south - and has previously supplied them by airdrop.

Comment: Meanwhile Jordan is also helping Israel bypass the Red Sea blockade, and The Netherlands has sent support for the West's confrontation with Yemen:

Firms in Japan and Belgium cut ties with Israeli weapons manufacturer

The local government of the Walloon region in Belgium has temporarily suspended two ammunition export licenses to Israel, local media outlet De Morgen reported on 6 February.

The news comes after several rights groups, including Amnesty International, called on the Walloon region's prime minister, Elio Di Rupo, to cancel the weapons sales.

The munitions were sent to Israel via the port of Antwerp in November 2023, De Morgen reported.

Comment: A Chinese shipping company restricted its business with Israel shortly after the escalation of the genocide, and it's likely that more will follow their lead, and Israel will see an even greater exodus than it already is experiencing.

However, even then, Israel will not be deterred from its genocidal campaign:
