Lockdowns killed hundreds of thousands of children, says the UN - was it really worth it?

The reports by Ofsted, NFER and by the head of the Speech and Language Unit in Northern Ireland highlighted the devastating impact of Covid policy on the education and development of children in the U.K. This article addresses the damage to children beyond education and the impact on children across the world and poses the question, "Was it worth it?"

As I address here, here and here, school closures and mask wearing are responsible for the appalling damage to children's education and development, but the damage goes beyond this. There is a huge amount of evidence about the damage caused by COVID-19 restrictions to children's mental health. The impact has been alarming.

Comment: The Big Picture: The breakdown of the multiple effects of Covid lockdowns on infants, children and youth country-by-country, bodes a dire and irreversible global outcome unimaginable in normal times, erasing a generation of progress and hope for the future.

Canada to lift vaccine mandates for domestic, international travel on June 20

Unvaccinated Canadians will soon be allowed to travel within and out of Canada.

The federal government will suspend its COVID-19 vaccine mandate, Ottawa announced on Tuesday, allowing unvaccinated Canadian citizens and permanent residents to travel domestically by air and train, and internationally by air as of June 20. It will also lift its vaccine mandate for federal employees, including the RCMP and federally regulated transportation sector workers.

"It's clear that the COVID situation is not the same now as it was last fall when we implemented the vaccine mandate for travellers," Transport Minister Omar Alghabra said at a press conference on Tuesday afternoon.

Unvaccinated Canadian travellers re-entering the country will still have to provide a pre-entry test result, quarantine for 14 days and could be subject to Day 1 and Day 8 testing. Vaccine requirements will also still apply to international travellers coming into Canada.

An American defense firm is in talks with the blacklisted NSO Group to potentially buy the Israeli company's spyware and hacking technology, Pegasus, which has been used to surveil politicians, activists and journalists across the world.

L3Harris, a global defense contractor based in Florida that manufactures technologies in the air, land, sea, space and cyber realms, is in early negotiations with NSO Group to purchase Pegasus, according to the news outlet Intelligence Online, which first broke the news.

Multiple details still need to be fleshed out, and any deal could be hindered by the U.S. and Israeli governments.

The Hill has reached out to L3Harris and NSO Group for comment.

In November, the U.S. Department of Commerce added NSO Group to its entity list, effectively blacklisting the Israeli firm. The company has been accused of selling Pegasus to government and law enforcement authorities that have used it to spy on human rights activists, journalists and politicians.

dana nessel

Dana Nessel's comments come amid heightened national tensions surrounding the presence of drag queens at children's events.

Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel reportedly said Wednesday that "drag queens make everything better" and that there should be "a drag queen for every school" during an event in Lansing.

Nessel, who was the first openly gay person elected to statewide office in Michigan, made the comments during a civil rights conference while speaking out against what she describes as efforts to divide Americans, Craig Mauger of The Detroit News reported on Twitter.

The office of a Republican state representative in Washington was targeted by an arsonist on Monday morning as political tensions in the United States continue to intensify leading up to the fall midterms.

"Last night 2 individuals broke a window and threw a lit flare into the office of my seatmate, Rep. Andrew Barkis," Washington State Rep. JT Wilcox tweeted Monday along with video of the incident. "We have no information about perps or motivation, but I'm very concerned. Thank goodness the flare landed on a masonry floor."

In the video, two people approached the front porch of the office around 4 a.m. on June 13 before one person struck a window and broke the glass.

Deprogramming from the 'woke' cult: Former social justice warrior overcomes fear to speak up

keri smith
Deprogrammed with Keri Smith.
For Keri Smith, deprogramming from what she calls the cult of "wokism" didn't happen overnight.

But the behavior of her former friends within the social-justice world during the 2016 presidential election, with their support of violence, censorship, and gaslighting, certainly sped up the process, setting off a parade of red flags.

Social-justice warriors (SJW) were advocating for acts of aggression against supporters of former President Donald Trump, contradicting what she said she understood the essential nature of liberalism to be.

Elon Musk isn't just another 'culture warrior' who can be categorised and controlled - that's why the Left loathe him

Elon Musk
© Evan Agostini/Invision/APTesla billionaire Elon Musk can’t just be dismissed as just another right-wing ‘culture warrior', writes Daisy Cousens.
The Tesla billionaire has one by one taken the left to task on their most cherished institutions and public figures - and the importance of his anti-establishment trolling can't be understated.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has once again made headlines after Twitter finally agreed to give him internal data revealing the true number of bot accounts on the platform.

This is the latest win in Musk's trolling of the left-wing establishment.

Since his audacious move to acquire Twitter, the mere mention of the name "Musk" sends journalists, Democrat politicians, and the far-left Twitterati into a spin.

Fun for the Hole family

From picnics, bumper cars and Ferris Wheels to bearded "women" grooming children.

Sacrificing children to the rainbow cult.
© The Good CitizenSacrificing children to the rainbow cult.
The month of the rainbow cult is hitting its midway point, and those of us who tired of this sad charade many years ago still have nowhere to escape. The symbols and hairy asses are jiggling everywhere. Pride is shaking down the down-trodden masses incapable of drawing any moral lines, unable to have their own pride, perhaps confused by the intentionally confusing adherents eager to keep jamming all their pride down everyone's throat until they vomit rainbows for eternity.

The events are in every city, town, village, and public library across the west. Each event is advertised as "Fun For the Whole Family", "All Ages Affair", and "Sacrifice Your Children On Our Glittered Altars". The bare asses of grotesque men flash in children's faces at the many parades, as if it's another day in the park, another family picnic, or a trip to the county fair. Why waste money on cotton candy and Ferris Wheels when you can have twerking glittered trannies thrust their mangled bits mere feet from young children? Why give them fun, when they can be sacrificed for their parent's twisted insecurities and virtue-seeking neurosis?

Sacrificing children has become quite the western spectacle of late. Pfizer and soon Moderna will claim their share of little ones while making a few million more walking time bombs of health consequences thanks to their "parents of the year". Infertility, sudden death, drooping faces only physiognomically capable of half the joy and laughter of pureblood children.

California lawmaker who relaxed punishments for sex offenders proposes mandatory 'Drag Queen 101' for K-12

scott wiener
In response to a Texas state representative announcing that he will file legislation to ban drag shows from having children in their audience, California state senator Scott Wiener proposed offering drag queen curriculum in schools.

Responding to a tweet from Rep. Bryan Slaton of Texas in which he announced the legislation, Wiener wrote, "This guy just gave me a bill idea: Offering Drag Queen 101 as part of the K-12 curriculum. Attending Drag Queen Story Time will satisfy the requirement."

Comment: Not only can't the left meme, they can't troll. Instead, they just come across looking like perverts. (And that's assuming his tweet was an attempt to troll and not written in earnest.)
