Germany could face "dire consequences" if something is not done about the mindset that produced the conversation between Luftwaffe generals on a possible operation to destroy Russia's Crimea Beidge, Moscow's Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Monday.

RT has published a recording and transcript of the February 19 call between senior leaders of the German Air Force, in which they discussed how Taurus long-range missiles could be deployed against the 18 km long connector, at the request of Ukraine.

"As we now understand, they have not been fully denazified," Zakharova told reporters on the sidelines of the World Youth Festival (WYF 2024) in Sochi.

Comment: It would appear that Nazism, which may have lay dormant (or festering), is a sickness that has now reemerged and has infected numerous other nations:

Best of the Web: Supreme Court rules states can't kick Trump off the ballot

The Supreme Court on Monday handed a sweeping win to former President Donald Trump by ruling that states cannot kick him off the ballot over his actions leading up to the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol — bringing a swift end to a case with huge implications for the 2024 election.

In an unsigned ruling with no dissents, the court reversed the Colorado Supreme Court, which had determined that Trump could not serve again as president under Section 3 of the Constitution's 14th Amendment.

The provision prohibits those who previously held government positions but later "engaged in insurrection" from running for various offices.

The court said the Colorado Supreme Court had wrongly assumed that states can determine whether a presidential candidate or other candidate for federal office is ineligible.

Wave of resignations among senior Israeli army officers - Israeli media

israel solider troops
© Mostafa Alkharouf - Anadolu AgencyIsraeli soldiers are deployed at Erez border with heavy weapons and military vehicles in Erez, Israel on February 29, 2024.
The head of the Israeli occupation army's Spokesperson's Unit, Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, has announced his resignation despite the continued Israeli war against the Palestinians in Gaza, according to Tamir Morag of the Israeli website Now 14. A wave of other senior army officers in the unit have also resigned.

The unit is responsible for providing information about the Israeli occupation army. Those who have resigned include the second-in-command of Hagari's team, Moran Katz, a civilian who works as a spokeswoman for the Israeli occupation army with the rank of colonel. She resigned because, "Things are not going well on both the professional and personal levels."

Comment: It might be out of the ordinary for a normal country, however there's a number of reasons that lead one to believe that psychological issues are more prevalent in the Israeli population, and this is in addition to the fact that a significant number have already left, or are planning to leave their country, and all this despite its people having suffered very little from their ongoing genocide of Gazans, and their repeated airstrikes on Palestine, Syria, and Lebanon.

One would presume that they're not leaving because they object to the abominable criminality, but because, personally, they're dissatisfied:

Unrest - The Ukrainian Intelligence Committee Is Preparing For The Worst-Case Scenario

Chess
What's regarded as the worst-case scenario from the perspective of the ruling Ukrainian elite and their Western masters is the best-case scenario for the rest of the world. In the event that Zelensky is deposed and peace talks immediately resume right as Russia breaks through the Line of Contact, then NATO might not feel as pressured by its security dilemma with Russia to conventionally intervene in Ukraine, thus reducing the risk of World War III by miscalculation.

The Ukrainian Intelligence Committee warned in a Telegram post about the worst-case scenario that could happen by June whereby a Russian breakthrough across the Line of Contact (LOC) merges with protests over conscription and Zelensky's illegitimacy to deal a deathblow to the state. They predictably claimed that those protests, along with claims of growing fatigue inside Western and Ukrainian societies plus civil-military tensions in Kiev, are just "Russian disinformation" even though they all veritably exist.

The Biden administration is laundering billions in taxpayer funds through Non-Governmental Organizations to facilitate illegal migration into the United States.

The State Department, for example, is offering a "loan" program to any foreigner around the world who desires to travel to the United States, claim without evidence that he or she is a "refugee," and then resettle in the countryall subsidized by U.S. taxpayers.

As described by the the United States Refugee Admissions Program on its official website, the International Organization for Migration's (IOM) Travel Loan Program:
"Helps to provide penalty and interest-free loans to refugees arriving in the United States.

"Refugees who accept these travel loans are required to sign a promissory note prior to departure, committing themselves to repayment of the debt within a determined period after arrival.

"IOM arranges travel for refugee using funds furnished by the Department of State and is mandated to subsequently receive refugees' repayments on behalf of the Department of State.

"Repayments made are remitted to a revolving fund created between the Department of State and IOM for use by the Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration (PRM) to defray the cost of future refugee travel.

"A Travel Loan repayment is initially assigned either to IOM itself or to a resettlement agency."
There is a single video on the International Organization for Migration (IOM) YouTube channel. It advertises the travel loan program, which can be viewed below.

A thousand years of prison time over a 6-hour delay of Congress: January 6 show trials now represent the gravest injustice in U.S. history

Every student of the First Amendment knows about the infamous Alien and Sedition Acts, the Palmer Raids of World War I, the persecution of the Chicago 7, crackdowns on anti-war movements, and the FBI's infamous COINTELPRO abuses and surveillance of Martin Luther King and the Black Panthers.

But the single greatest mass infringement on fundamental First Amendment freedoms is happening right now. And the civil liberties establishment, which rakes in millions annually parroting the civil rights talking points of the 1970s, has turned its back on the greatest mass political persecution in American legal history: the railroading of January 6 defendants.

As these words are written, the US District Court for DC is approaching a grim milestone. Sometime in the next few weeks, a total of a thousand years of prison time will have been handed out to J6ers. January 6 injustices are eclipsing all other American legal disgraces of the past.

I myself am a J6 criminal defense attorney who has written hundreds of motions and participated in eight J6 jury trials. Although I have a comparatively winning record among other J6 defense lawyers — measured by total counts defeated adversely — I and my co-counsels have nonetheless lost every case.

Comment: Call it what it is: political tyranny!
Judges may have improperly applied federal sentencing guidelines to more than 100 people convicted of participating in the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the US Capitol, a federal court ruled Friday.

A three-judge panel of the DC Circuit Court of Appeals rejected the Justice Department's argument that convicted rioters merited lengthier prison sentences for interfering in the "administration of justice" when they stormed the Capitol to disrupt the certification of Joe Biden's 2020 election win.

Judge Patricia Millett wrote in the court's unanimous ruling:
"[T]he phrase 'administration of justice' does not encompass Congress's role in the electoral certification process. [T]ext, context, and commentary show that 'administration of justice' refers to judicial, quasi-judicial, and adjunct investigative proceedings, but does not extend to the unique congressional function of certifying electoral college votes.

"Administration of justice" enhancements are typically reserved for defendants who disrupt judicial proceedings, such as a courtroom trial or grand jury investigation."
However, prosecutors routinely asked DC judges to apply the enhancement to individuals convicted of participating in the riot at the Capitol.

More than 100 rioters have had "administration of justice" enhancements applied to their sentences, Patricia Hartman, a spokesperson for the DC US Attorney's Office, told the Associated Press.

The imprisoned rioters who had their sentences enhanced may push for new, lighter sentences if the appeals court ruling stands.
DOJ wrongly lengthened some Jan. 6 sentences:
The case before the appeals court was specifically related to the enhancement of convicted rioter Larry Brock.

Brock, a retired Air Force officer who stormed the Capitol while wearing a military combat helmet and tactical vest, was convicted of a felony charge of obstruction of an official proceeding and misdemeanor offenses for his role in the riot.

He was sentenced last year to two years in prison.

The appeals court ruled:
"Brock's interference with one stage of the Electoral College vote-counting process — while no doubt endangering our democratic processes and temporarily derailing Congress's constitutional work — did not interfere with the 'administration of justice."
Brock's attorney argued that the misapplied enhancement likely increased his client's sentence by about nine months.

The panel found:
"The administration of justice" applies to "judicial, quasi-judicial, and adjunct investigative proceedings, but does not extend to the unique congressional function of certifying electoral college votes."
The enhancement can increase sentences by over a year, according to Politico.

In April, the Supreme Court will hear a case challenging the scope of the obstruction statute, Section 1512(c)(2), used to charge hundreds of defendants, including Brock.

US poses biggest threat to security in space - China's top brass

Washington uses hyped-up foreign threats as a pretext for military expansion, Beijing's defense spokesman has said...

The United States is leading a dangerous drive to militarize space, the Chinese military has said, arguing that the Pentagon represents the greatest threat to peace and security on the final frontier.

Asked to respond to recent warnings by US officials about Beijing's growing arsenal of "anti-satellite weapons," Chinese Defense Ministry spokesman Zhang Xiaogang told reporters that it was Washington, not the People's Republic, that was seeking to transform space into a future battlefield:
"The United States uses the so-called threats from other countries as an excuse to expand its military power, and China firmly opposes this. As we all know, the United States defines space as a 'combat territory,' develops and deploys offensive space weapons... and even maliciously tracks and dangerously approaches other countries' spacecraft, creating the risk of collisions with space objects.

"This has become the biggest driver of militarization and battlefieldization of space, and the biggest threat to space security."
Zhang was apparently responding to comments by US Air Force Secretary Frank Kendall, who has repeatedly stressed the alleged threat posed by Beijing as its military continues to develop and modernize.

Insane! German healthcare system should prepare for war - minister

Lauterbach
Germany must improve its healthcare system to be able to swiftly respond to crisis situations, such as a new pandemic or a military conflict, Health Minister Karl Lauterbach has said.

Legislation for reforms expected to be presented this summer will be "a turning point for the healthcare system," the Social Democratic Party (SPD) politician told the newspaper Neue Osnabrucker Zeitung in an interview published on Saturday.

Though the ruling 'traffic light coalition' has already pushed for reforms following the Covid-19 pandemic, the health minister said that with the Ukraine conflict, the challenges have become even more important.

"In the event of a crisis, every doctor, every hospital, every health authority must know what to do. We need clear responsibilities - for example, for the distribution of a high number of injured people among the clinics in Germany," Lauterbach explained.

Comment: One of the oldest rules in state craft is to invent an external enemy when the domestic problems rise. This is not least the case when those problems are due to the mismanagement and corruption by the rulers of such a country.

The German health minister was instrumental in the hard lock down which Germany had during the Covid fludemic. He has also made unhinged comments wishing for lockdowns to fight 'climate change'.
