It's vain and futile to suppose that the disordered minds of Western Civ's entrenched Wokester Jacobins might ever be subject to polite persuasion about anything they believe. They believe only in the power of pushing their fellow citizens around, and so, alas, the only persuasion that might conceivably work to stop their infantile assaults on liberty, truth, and decency is to push back harder until they suffer and break.

This is something that most parents with young children instinctively understand. You don't negotiate with two-year-olds. You tell them how things are and what sort of behavior is required of them, as plainly and simply as possible. Mr. Trump, having been the father of many two-year-olds over time, appears to get this. It has been apparent for years that Mr. Trump's symbolic role as a father figure is the most deeply resented feature of his role in US politics.

It also appears that many men in this country likewise get this, perhaps because nature conditions them early on to understand that some day they might have to play the role of father, meaning they will have to push back hard against emotional disorder, hysteria, illogic, and untruth, and violence.

The co-leader of The Left party leader has said the US-led military bloc "has no future".

The co-leader of the German Left party, Jan van Aken, has called for NATO to be replaced with a new security alliance involving both Russia and the United States, arguing that the US-led military bloc "has no future."

In an interview with Die Zeit published on Saturday, van Aken said the party continues to support its 2011 platform, which called for Germany to exit NATO and help create a new collective security system.

"We never wanted to abolish NATO without replacement but rather replace it with a cooperative security system," van Aken said when asked whether Germany and its European allies could defend themselves without US support. He proposed a new model similar to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), focusing on peacekeeping and joint defense:
"Something like OECD 2.0. A peace and defense alliance, together with Russia and the US. But of course, if we were to rebuild it, it would certainly require another ten years of confidence-building measures. NATO would still exist that long, but it no longer has a future."

Comment: NATO is a club with consequences. Futility recognition had to start somewhere.

Banks could be extinct in 10 years - Eric Trump

Blockchain technology can perform financial transactions more efficiently, the president's son has said.

Banks could face extinction within a decade if they fail to embrace blockchain technologies, US President Donald Trump's second son Eric, a crypto entrepreneur, has warned.

In an interview with CNBC on Wednesday, Eric Trump lambasted what he described as the slowness and inefficiency of the traditional banking system.

"The modern financial system is broken, it's slow, it's expensive," he told the business news channel.

Trump, who launched a bitcoin mining company called American Bitcoin in March, said he turned to digital currencies and decentralized finance when he realized that "our banking system favors the ultra-wealthy" and "was weaponized against the vast majority of people in our country."

Decentralized finance platforms allow individuals to conduct transactions directly with one another, often with low or no fees, something traditional banks rely on to generate income.

Comment: It is today's corrupted open system versus a controlled traceable one with flaws to solve that millions don't/won't comprehend. Common folk alternative: trade goods for goods and bypass trace and control.

Brussels floats solution to Trump

The EU is ready raise imports of US goods by $56 billion to address the trade imbalance, the bloc's trade commissioner says.

The EU wants to substantially increase purchases of goods from the US, according to European Trade Commissioner Maros Sefcovic, as cited by Financial Times. The move could help the bloc secure the elimination of import tariffs proposed by US President Donald Trump, the official has said.

As part of his sweeping 'Liberation Day' tariffs on major trading partners, Trump sharply raised duties on US imports from the 27-nation bloc. The US president sees the tariff campaign, which targeted over 90 countries, as a solution to what he calls unfair trade imbalances.

Sefcovic, on Thursday in an interview with the newspaper. said:
"If what we are looking at as a problem in the deficit is €50 billion ($56 billion), I believe that we can really...solve this problem very quickly through LNG purchases, through some agricultural products like soyabeans, or other areas."
He emphasized that the bloc would not accept the 10% tariffs on its goods being kept in place as a fair resolution. He also warned that it would be "very difficult" to strike a deal that is "clearly good and acceptable for our member states and our European parliament."

Comment: There appears to be method to Trump's 'madness'.

Simion, leader of the Alliance for the Union of Romanians, had come in fourth place in the annulled vote, but he inherited Georgescu's votes and surged to first place.

Populist-sovereigntist candidate George Simion came out on top in the first round of voting in the Romanian presidential election on Sunday. The election was held after the previous election was annulled, and the leading candidate was barred from running in the redo contest.

Results unveiled by Romania's Permanent Electoral Authority, with over 99 per cent of votes tabulated, showed that Simion scored a large victory with 40.87 per cent of the vote.

The Alliance for the Union of Romanians (AUR) leader was followed by neo-liberal globalist Bucharest Mayor Nicușor Dan in second place at 20.97 per cent and acting President Crin Antonescu in third with 20.13 per cent, Digi24 reports.

Israel conducts massive air strikes on Yemen after Ben Gurion Airport attack

In the wake of the unprecedented Sunday direct hit on Israel's Ben Gurion international airport by a ballistic missile launched by the Houthis of Yemen, Israeli leadership has vowed to hit back hard. "The attack on Ben Gurion Airport has removed all restrictions from our perspective," Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz has stated. He emphasized, "Whoever harms us will be harmed sevenfold" - amid an emergency meeting of Israel's security cabinet. Al Jazeera and regional media say that response has come on Monday. There are reports that 30 Israeli jets are bombing Yemen's main port, along with US military assistance:
Al Jazeera's Ali Hashem has reported that Houthi-affiliated media has said a total of nine sites have been hit in Hodeidah.

Israeli media has reported both at least 30 Israeli fighter jets were involved in strikes on Yemen, which come a day after the Houthis attacked the Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv, with a missile landing near the facility.

A senior US official has said the raids were being carried out in coordination with the US. Al Jazeera could not immediately confirm that information

Comment: Let it be remembered there were no Houthi attacks on Israel or in the Red Sea during the Gaza "ceasefire", which of course, Israel never actually observed. With the resumption of hostilities, and the brazen declaration by the Zionists that they intend to starve the Palestinians out of their land, what would one expect from the only nation that has been willing to stand up to bloodthirsty Israel?

Germany's AfD has filed suit against the country's political police, claiming the last government improperly pushed through its extremist classification just before leaving office.

Germany's right-wing Alternative for Germany (AfD) party has filed a lawsuit against the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution (BfV), accusing the agency of unlawfully designating it as a "confirmed right-wing extremist" group in the final days of the outgoing left-wing government.

The legal filing, submitted to the Cologne administrative court where the BfV is based, follows the agency's failure to respond to a formal demand from AfD leadership to reverse the classification decision. The party, currently the second-largest in Germany and the official opposition in parliament, said the BfV's designation is "manifestly unlawful" and announced the court action on Monday morning, according to Handelsblatt.

The Israeli government on Monday unveiled its latest military strategy for the Gaza Strip, ominously titled 'Gideon's Chariots' (Merkavot Gideon).

Approved unanimously by the security cabinet, the plan formalises what critics describe as a blueprint for permanent occupation, mass displacement, and an expansion of violence against the besieged and displaced Palestinian civilian population.

Israel has said that it will give Hamas until the end of US President Donald Trump's trip to the Middle East, which is 10 days from now, or "Operation 'Gideon's Chariots' will begin with great force and will not end until all its objectives are achieved".

Comment: The cynicism behind Zionism's latest gambit.

House Pulls Bill Prohibiting Anti-Israel Boycotts After Conservative Backlash

House GOP leadership quietly scrapped a vote on a bipartisan bill criminalizing anti-Israel boycotts after several prominent conservative lawmakers alleged that the legislation infringed on the First Amendment.

The International Governmental Organization (IGO) Anti-Boycott Act, sponsored by Republican New York Rep. Mike Lawler and Democratic New Jersey Rep. Josh Gottheimer, would prohibit Americans from supporting boycotts imposed by global entities against U.S. allies, including Israel. Some conservative GOP House members slammed the legislation, which was initially scheduled for floor consideration Monday, citing Americans' First Amendment rights to boycott and criticize allied countries, while condemning anti-semitism.

"Americans have the right to boycott, and penalizing this risks free speech," Republican Florida Rep. Anna Paulina Luna posted on X Sunday. "I reject and vehemently condemn antisemitism but I cannot violate the first amendment."

Lawler and Gottheimer's bill would amend the Anti-Boycott Act of 2018 to expand its authority to also prevent Americans or U.S. businesses from participating in boycotts organized by international entities — including the United Nations (UN) and European Union (EU). The bipartisan 2018 legislation originally sought to penalize foreign governments from imposing boycotts on allied countries. President Donald Trump signed the bill into law during his first term as part of the fiscal year 2019 National Defense Authorization Act.

Ukraine exhibiting 'classic terrorist behavior' - Russian Foreign Ministry

Ukraine is exploiting peace negotiations in order to extract funds from its Western backers and promote extremism, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has said.

She made the remarks after Ukrainian presidential chief of staff Andrey Yermak reposted a stylized image of Vladimir Zelensky looking at the iconic Kremlin wall engulfed in flames.

"Nicely drawn," Yermak wrote under the image, which was captioned with a line from a famous Soviet World War II-era song: "We have done everything we could to bring this day closer."

"Talks of a truce from the Kiev regime are a mockery of the efforts made by those who truly seek peace. Their real goal is to exploit the West, spread fear, kill, promote neo-Nazi ideology, and operate in a legal vacuum - classic terrorist behavior," Zakharova told Russian broadcaster TVC on Sunday. She also accused Ukraine of "stealing billions" in foreign aid.
