It is great that Niall went to Russia to see what is happening. Personal experience changes belief systems.

In terms of security in Russia, you have to bring in context. TBoris I was thinking about the neighborhoods. The smell of food & markets during that time. I grew up just outside of NYC, and had family in all five boroughs. As a child I was struck by the smells, the color, the cultural variations throughout the city. This is what I had in mind when I replied to Ned. The culture of Toronto during those times were probably similar with more Eastern European influences. It was striking to me as a child, the way we lived our life, the food we ate, the way we spoke, the things we'd say, how we'd treat each other, what we were shown and exposed to as children, how children see how people interacted behaved and related to other people. the morality, responsibility, knowledge, intellectualism, of knowing things. These were building blocks for people, at least stable citizens that could have some type of success in this world. Not difficult stuff. To me, this is just very cut and dry culture. It's a different viewpoint from yours because I've been in it. I miss it. People were more personable in those days...

Oh God I miss those days....I miss my Mom - I miss Buffalo from my youth.

But time moves on and now here we find ourselves - don't disparage an old man's memory of youth - of a time more innocent and better - no matter the incentives nor agenda.....it was the freedom to learn as a youth that I treasure the most - don't deny us that TBoris - Supergirl never would.

And now we have the smart phones to prove their success(plus the looming A.I. surveillance centers to watch and intervene in everything we do). Ned thinks that is great and I don't.

I don't see the need to defend my personal life or my advanced age. As we have seen, A.I. bots make up fake life stories that are "relatable" to real humans (thus fooling them). No different than grafting skin on the T-800 terminator model to make it appear human.

Nonetheless, I grew up in a rural environment. When I was a young whipper snapper, I started working at age eight bending nails straight for my dad who was employed to fix up old dilapidated properties for migrant farm workers. I worked all through high school before heading off to college. I wasn't a ladies man like yourself. More of a book worm and analyst from the very start(my grandmother called me the professor because I could talk on any subject). Buffalo_Ken probably would have laughed at my lack of athletic abilities no doubt! My friends thought of me as "odd" since I questioned everything.

Although I partly disagree with that conclusion.

I think they know very well they are lying and most of the stories are totally made up. But like in the US, they still believe controlling the legacy media equals controlling the narrative.
