Here's the breakdown:
Nature is "God"s" Operating System, which means:
Everything born will die and be recycled substance for New Forms.
Life feeds upon itself, it's a food chain.
Oroboros eating itself is meme for this.
"God" or "Source" is the One Mind that is ALL, made all.
We are as leaves on a Tree (the "Vine"), fractal miniatures that replicate a pattern
God, being the All in All, is eternal spirit, never dies, and has no fear of "Death." It's all a Game in "His" Imagination.
The basic stuff He uses is a form of sensitive chaos...that delights in assuming new forms to have new experiences. It doesn't care, like Oroboros, if it is the Eater or the Eaten. It delights in being animated, electrons flowing, whether through pleasure (expansion) or pain (contraction).
In short, "we" are that very Thing that eats Itself, Self eating little selves, to birth new selves, buds on the Tree.
Humans at the consciousness level called ego-persona imagine all sorts of projections into the future about how "I" will survive and go on. Souls going to heaven, reincarnating, ascending some Ladder to become...what? Masters? Angels. All ego-self projection. Honestly? As stupid as we see people to be, what a fantasy that you will get your own planet, or become some Magus....or you want to sit around some Throne singing hymns FOREVER? Jeez. That would be Hell.
In that disassociated state when you sort of step outside of your personality, you find you are really that sensitive chaos which I call Anima. The stuff that likes to move and experience, anything and everything. Never dies. This is a form of Enlightenment: seeing things as they are coming into temporary existence birth to death. The mask will fall, but the Anima is forever.
From viewpoint of human in ego state being "eaten" by Universe is frightening. When you now feel you are that eternally regenerating Mind-stuff of the Logos (God the Architect in His General Contractor builder modality) ... death is just a matter of going back into Mother's Arms and Father's Mind. You ARE THAT.....so relax.
My first question was in this a true story? This particular author has a particular bent for humans on the phantasmagoric menu...
All that aside, I like some of what Murster shared, thank you. We never left Source, Ideas Leave Not Their Source. Ego would have us think otherwise. It's hard to think when in a mindless sleep. Like everything else in this illusory dream, this too will end, the veil has been lifted. Just tell the decision-maker in the mind to choose once again.

in order to see 'her', i had to drive through the city. and cities are anathema to me. i hate them. i despise them. i cannot stand them. they are crowded and they are are hell.

However, an ego would experience joining with the Source or God at death as being eaten, no individuality remains.
As Gurdjieff noted: “The study of the chief fault and the struggle against it constitute, as it were, each man’s individual path, but the aim must be the same for all. This aim is the realization of one’s nothingness. ”
I've had only a couple of bad trips, ever, fortunately, and this guy's description of what he experienced sounds a lot like that. I'm not trivializing his experience, just trying to relate to it.
At the same time, perhaps he witnessed what his own hell will be, and he is fortunate to have time to make some changes, aka, Ebenezer Scrooge.
If your identity is your body and connections to physical reality, then death is like being eaten by a tiger. If your identity is in your non-physical soul, then death is a return to source.

Intuiting something, what means "knowing and being not conscious of knowing", is a half-position between ignore and know. There's a very dangerous alternative to intuit, but very convenient for the simulation: It is not to ignore , intuit or know , but believe . There lies the great-great power of religions, all of them, specially those that resist to be called 'religions'. The biggest mind control weapon ever used against mankind, the imposition of the sacred , what means "All of that cannot be mocked nor set to doubt". Piece of cake. We live in an eternal and omnipresent cult, fulfilled of sacred things that appear to be not religions, buy they are: Democracy, sports, mainstream media, calendar, success, rule of law, authorities and institutions, monetary system, tolerance, biosecurity, climate, sustainability, and the list goes on. An individual that doesn't follow one or more of these sacred statements, will be declared nuts, maladaptive, lacking of the minimal requirements to have a life in society. They have frequently the hardest lifestyles in the population and, in contrast, those who fit the system, enjoy its benefits. Access to services and mainly: security. There lies the Krishnamutri quote: It is not measure of health to be well adapted to a profoundly sick society. People not adapted to the system, is not productive for it, so it is skinny livestock, bad seed, a virus, a program who conflicts the operating system, and it is treated like that.
Spend the life merely intuiting the deception of existence, is similar to being in the hell. The biggest matrix concern, that It fights against fiercely, is people who overcome believing and start intuiting, or worse, knowing. Right there is where Matrix loses its power.
