OF THE
TIMES
Inflation theory proposes a period of extremely rapid (exponential) expansion of the universe prior to the more gradual Big Bang expansion, during which time the energy density of the universe was dominated by a cosmological constant-type of vacuum energy that later decayed to produce the matter and radiation that fill the universe today. Inflation was both rapid, and strong. It increased the linear size of the universe by more than 60 "e-folds", or a factor of ~10^26 in only a small fraction of a second!
In many ways, the Rutherford model of the atom is the classic model of the atom, even though it's no longer considered an accurate representation . Rutherford's model shows that an atom is mostly empty space, with electrons orbiting a fixed, positively charged nucleus in set, predictable paths. - [Link]Meanwhile at the BBC they are still teaching kids this known misrepresentation of the atom
Atoms have a positively-charged nucleus made of protons and neutrons, and negatively-charged electrons that orbit the nucleus in shells - [Link]I find it somewhat depressing that we are living under the thumb of 17th to 19th century scientific dogmas
The stronger the winds blow around the Earth, the slower the Earth rotates to compensate and hence the longer the length of day. The findings were published yesterday in Nature Geoscience.Correlation is not causation.
So we are currently losing milliseconds, with stronger storms a brewing, milliseconds will become seconds
So how windy must it have been when the Earth stopped rotating for 7 days and nightfall never came.
I believe magnetism influences Earth's atmosphere and weather. Our Sun is in chaos, magnetic field stability no longer being demonstrated and Earth is in the firing line with its own wandering magnetic poles.
So milliseconds are today's currency of discrepancy, what will tomorrow bring, a total halt perhaps
