Governments are moving rapidly to remove your right to raise animals completely. The UK has confirmed via FOIA the gassing of people's backyard chickens around a poultry facility in Kent.
Colorado's PAUSE act will destroy their meat industry. And livestock registration is rolling out around the world. There is a war on Animal Agriculture. Yes, factory farms are abhorrent, and we must rapidly move to a decentralized, regenerative food system--but rather than support this, governments are pointing at disgusting CAFOs and saying, "We must END ALL ANIMAL AGRICULTURE." They are precluding the solution, so that they take total control of food production.
Christian breaks it down AND explains why we cannot allow this to happen.
Speedz re: cancer....please look into ellagic acid, info can be found at [Link] the alkalizing effects of baking soda (not a joke) and hyperbaric oxygen therapy, also lipolisomal Vit. C has helped a lot of folks...I've no idea what you may or may not have tried, i simply throw this out there in case it might help you
balboa schwartz I have had cancer for about 2 years now. non small cell lung cancer. the 2nd most common type. I am almost done with my 'immuno therapy' long story short, what I have learned is that if your immune system cannot recognize the cancer, it cannot kill it. I believe that it is already dead, but that won't be confirmed until next month.
HVACTech wow, I'm happy to hear you're in the recovered side of things, any cancer is a kick in the head...and keep us all posted with any updates, if you have a mind to
HVACTech okay, got a laugh out of that.....I'd guess that most of us here have been on a live-or-die edge a few times, seems to run with the type of folks who find their way here
balboa schwartz With the way of the world and the life I have had leading up to this shit show, I am not looking to prolong anything. It is merely pain management and living as is with my birds for my sense of joy. They quite literally are my life and the reason I wake up any more. To see them sick or hurt just destroys me. I told them that they need to outlast me. I have lost 3 hens in years past and I just can't take any more. Especially not these 2. I have had these guys in my life for just over 5 years now. I got them at a week old. within 24 hours of getting them I saved one of their lives and we mutually imprinted. They are a major part of me. The rest of this world really has no meaning for me.
HVACTech If joy and contentment and all around ease with life would come from just sott then sure. But, none of ya all are my actual neighbors, landlord, officials in this area or over me. So nope doesn't count lol
Not just animals at stake. Just talked to my brother in Canada ( I lived in the breadbasket of Ontario where most vegetables are grown ) New Covid regulations stipulate that foreign workers can only travel to a farm in groups of 3 plus a driver. Every person must wear a mask. the windows must be open the entire journey and the heater must be on recirculate NOT heat plus no more than 3 workers to a bunkhouse. My uncle just got his first 15 workers from Jamaica and had to hire 5 limo drivers in Toronto to bring them to the farm (150 kms one way ). In Haldimand /Norfolk county some farms use up to 200 Mexican workers. The food producers and production system are at risk. No answers or explanations forthcoming - call for information and to speak to someone and you will never get a reply. @ speedz good advice from mr Schwartz - I have read many articles that IV ( intravenous vitamin C is extremely effective just not considered mainstream treatment and we know about things like that. Good luck on your speedy recovery. PS I kept just 2 Idaho reds on my farm - great tasting eggs..
nimrod All the red variations of hens are the sweetest birds. They are extremely smart and very loving if given the chance. Sadly, they are also the most commonly abused bird in commercial farming. I rips me apart...one of the girls I lost was a red. She was extremely close to me. I have not been the same since her loss. Then came her sister from another hen, an Amber link. Losing her turned me bitter. As I said up in that other comment bit, not looking to prolong, I look forward to seeing my lost babies again more than I look to stay in this world much longer.
LindaMay Honestly I don't understand anyone let alone guys that can't appreciate the unconditional love that most animals, especially birds, can and want to give. All they need is to be safe, protected and not taken for granted and abused. I get physically disturbed going past the meat section seeing bird in the store. I am not a vegan, but I just can't eat bird ever and have issues seeing any of them dead. Especially wrapped in plastic and a small price tag on it. Like their lives, their desire to live and be appreciated were only worth that? About the same when I go past the egg section. What they put reds through to lay eggs just to kill them when they are in the prime of their lives is disgusting.
Mystery creates wonder, and wonder is the basis for man's desire to understand. Who knows what mysteries will be solved in our lifetime, and what new riddles will become the challenge of the new generations.
