Mystery creates wonder, and wonder is the basis for man's desire to understand. Who knows what mysteries will be solved in our lifetime, and what new riddles will become the challenge of the new generations.

Problem: Legos weren't long enough
In my era of legos they usually had eight? little buttons (or less?) - but no more - so you could stagger step them all you wanted to but the barrell would always break from its weight.
But then, if I or my buddies ever did that .
(1) We'd learn a little about physics, statics, and physical strength and stresses, (not knowing them as by such terms); and then,
(2) Would go off to build a turtle (much easier); or,
(3) An alligator. (And even the alligator was easier to build and less likely to fall apart at the first pointing of it.)
But that was back in a normal world.
