From the chaste, submissive Housewife to the sexually uninhibited woman, who can 'bring home the bacon and fry it up in the pan'. Molded then into the misogynistic image of our Male dominated society, and molded now under the misogynistic image of freedom of feminine expression.

The Woman's Lib movement, which began as a desire for feminine expression, was co-opted by the PTB, by those that are so afraid that the 'hand that rocks the cradle would rule the world'. Afraid because the feminine doesn't rule, it nurtures.

Every step taken to free woman from the 'barefoot and pregnant' to the creative expression of femininity was directed. They could no longer label outspoken women as witches and burn them at the stake, instead they decided that if you want to play in our sandbox, you will play by our rules.

So here we are, smoking our Virginia Slims, thinking we are free. With our 401k and our Equal Pay for Equal work careers. Dumping a small fortune into Victoria Secret to express our feminine side.

Destroying the Feminine has been the goal for centuries. Societies should be feminine, nurturing and cooperative and with reverence for the true masculine (as opposed to the misogynistic, psychopathic, hierarchical, dog eat dog, phallic masculinity we have been lead to follow).

This is a great article, and yes, I think that if we all clean our internal machines, we would find the true feminine and masculine in us all. And if we were to express those qualities we would be living in a different and much better world.

Women are not just outside there, and they deserve all of our respect... as long as they respect themselves for what they are! "Woman is feeling" while man is thinking; it´s all inside of everyone of us. PTB had effectively suppress the population by suppressing the feelings that woman represent within man.
Now a days there are so few women around that you can safely say most are men with vaginas. This has to do with the implantation of left brain activity with the wrong kind of information. All those liberated chics are deceived into becoming a strange kind of being that does not feel any emotion unless status, money or sex appeal is involved... as I have said, love is on vacation in this world!!!

I think everyone needs to calm down. Where do you all live that all you see are either whores or "men with vaginas" (as said above). Yes, the "empowered whore" archetype is upsetting and makes me mad, but from what I can see of the world it is FAR from the dominating type of female. There are FAR FAR many more empowered MALE whores. Nobody likes skanky girls except for the guys who think they are an easy lay. The guy who sleeps around though, he's just great, isn't he?

Not saying that issues such as the one presented in this article don't deserve attention - they do. Again, I don't like this type anymore than the author of this article, but it seems to come from a interesting place that we freak out over woman acting this way and just easily accept the men who do. There is this implicit sense that if only women were better than men would be too. Why is it all on them? Half the time women act this way because they think guys like it. The problems here are on EVERYONE. Gender. Doesn't. Matter - at least not when it comes to this.

Maybe it's because I spend most of my time at a university - where the girls had to at least be smart enough to get in, that I rarely see anyone embodying this empowered whore archetype. All the girls I know are nice, smart, feminine, and while they want to look "nice" they aren't dousing themselves in makeup and wearing skanky clothes. Again, this might be because I spend most of my time around relatively intelligent females but I think this freak-out is a little over the top. There are plenty of amazing, smart girls out there. I know, I've got one.

Also, while you all blame television and the media - rightly so, I am disgusted by some of the things on there - there are also plenty of great empowering females on television. Does that not deserve attention at all?

Honestly I'm not one who simply looks at the bright side and ignores everything that's bad. I'm perfectly aware of what is going on and what needs fixing. But too often that is ALL that everyone focuses on and doesn't see that some things are pretty damn good. I could not be happier that I was born a woman in this time and place. I have every opportunity I can want. I get rights and the opportunity to study what I love. Despite all the crap on television I don't feel any need to conform to the empowered whore stereotype because because I respect myself, a respect that is in no small part thanks to the culture and times that I have grown up in, and I am thankful for that.

Nothing irritates me more than the fe-manists! They are so stupid and simply evil, really the essence of evil. (As for lesbians - spare me, please!)

There are so many female psychopaths in powerful positions in the World now that it amazes me that anyone can be that blind and obtuse as to blame our present horrible state on men! I think it was women (if one can call them that since at least two of them are said to be lesbians) who were the main driving force behind the terrible and monstrous invasion of Libya.

The World functions on opposites, on duality. It cannot actually come into being any other way. Hot and cold, hard and soft, here and there, high and low, dry and wet, far and near, up and down, male and female.

What DEFINES a man is a woman. What DEFINES a woman is a man.

Ant that is all there is to it.

One cannot even think or REASON except by duality. We have to use words to think at all, and that means that we think in opposites.

Hope that makes sense - it is true. If you sit down to meditate you will know that that is how we think, and that if those lines are blurred we become less clear, we lose clarity.

Our language is being corrupted and made slippery and slimy. George Orwell warned us that this would happen - we use euphemisms instead of clear cut words. The worst is the word "gay", but there are so many more, like "kinetic engagement" for killing people, or "collateral damage" or "quantitative easing" - and so on, endlessly these days. This is will make the clarity of thinking of the young less clear, less sharp, their consciousness will become more and more dim and darkened - they will be more and more like cattle, so much easier to push around, so much easier to just USE - and all because they cannot think as clearly as they should because they do not have clarity of language, like sharpness of focus, awareness, consciousness.

God help them, and God help us all. WAKE UP. Learn to meditate. This will open the heart - and that is a much happier way to be. Open the heart to nature. BE NATURAL.

Undoubtedly sex/sexuality has become the drug of choice for social control, and as our fecked up society shows, the program is working wonders for the psychopaths who oversaw it. But, the responsibility rests with us, men and women, as individuals. There's no point preaching, it's never worked in the past. Horses, water and drink.

Our culture, if we are to take our leads from the mainstream media, has always been looks-obsessed, psychologically narcissistic and I think more than a little schizoid too. It's just getting more obvious these days. I still wonder why this is. Our simplified education system? Our ever descending (quality-wise, and this is only my opinion) entertainments scenes? Those who feel a need to belong will always follow. I used to, but of course I thought that I was being edgy, leftist and rebellious! Lies to self act as the buffers against change. Conformism in our culture is incerdibly subtle, but if we are sensitive to our inner selves we can pick up on our own psychological discord, that sense that "not everything is right within me", and only then can you begin to do something about it. I think the point is to not be so easily satisfied with theories and arguments which don't withstand scrutiny. For the youngsters today, as ever, I think it must just begin with them having the courage to ask the basic questions which nag at them within.

That is individual work, on the self, and each of us who becomes aware has the choice to take responsibility for being a part of the change we want to see in the world, so there's no point launching generalised attacks which merely obscure our own intellectual torpor. We've all got our shadows in the brain somewhere....time to shed some light on 'em.

The Promotion Of Promiscuity

Yes, the "slut-culture" is an assault on womanhood, what a relief to actually read that somewhere!
Personally, I call it the "Madonna Generation" (the "material girl"!). Though it started way before her and continues way past the peak of her career, she is I find the important turning point in the promotion of promiscuity.
And I find it very sad that young girls have for role models a string of "empowered whores": there is a lot of cultural peer pressure on women nowadays to reveal their shapes and sometimes uncovered skin, be sexually experienced and be open to new sexual experiences.
Does it not bother any man to think that before knowing him, his wife or girlfriend might have had drunken sex with a complete stranger in the toilets of a nightclub? Or had a threesome? Or just simply had numerous one-night stands?
Don't get me wrong, by no means do I intend to say that that kind of behaviour is ok for guys but not for gals.
Yet in my opinion, virtue is more important for woman than it is for man. I know, not the most PC piece you've read this week.
Another thing: "Society should be female". Most definitely a crowd-pleasing statement but I differ. Society, if composed of men and women, should have the characteristics of both.

I'm thinking young women really are still trying to find themselves and have so many confusing messages about what a womans/ female role is in society. I do believe the media plays on this quite well, starting from the fairytale absent loving mother (think bambi) to the evil stepmother. Then we were fed the empty submissive June Clevers which prompted the womens lib thing, where even today we are still expected to do it "all" unless we are the type of women mentioned in the article. As children we know who we are as older women we get the crone role (said with much love) but between the ages of 15-50 the balanced female role has been missing for as long as I can remember and that is well over 50 years.

What The World Needs Now...

Too many men are looking for the equivalent of two dimensional life sized cardboard cut-outs when they look for a woman.

Unless people (in general) start to appreciate what's real rather than what's make believe, 'safe' and doesn't require intelligent thought, then what is abnormal, quickly becomes normal.

What the world needs now is more non-conformists and people who aren't shallow. Shame there aren't enough of them.
