During May 2009, the Brazilian Government has disclosed over 600 new pages of previously classified documents, covering UFO reports and military investigations from 1970 to 1979, including photos and films, for the first time. The content of this material has now been examined and proved to be very interesting and revealing showing Brazilian official strategy to cover-up UFO cases, often openly regarded as from outside Earth. The cases covered and the methods used to investigate them by the military are also very significant. On my opinion, the most important material contained in this new declassification are 195 new pages of documents resulted from the Operation Saucer, conducted in the Amazon by the Brazilian Air Force from September to December 1977, that is certainly the biggest *known* official initiative to military investigate UFOs in the world.
California - 06-08-09 - Van Nuys - The following sighting lasted approximately 10 minutes. At about 11:00 PM on a Sunday, I was standing in my parking lot and noticed 2 orbs of light. They had sort of an amber glow to them.
These two objects were visible for ten minutes, until they finally just disappeared. I watched them closely, and will tell you for a fact, these were not planes, helicopters, or any other types of conventional craft.
I am a pilot, and I know what I saw. The object or objects made not a sound, and the lights were different than anything I had ever seen before.

The UFOs are back!
Sceptics may sneer, but Fleetwood, a known UFO hotspot, has had its latest visitation. And this time there is video evidence to back it up. Strange orange lights were seen racing across the sky at the Larkholme Estate on Monday night and Gavin Billington of Fairway was quick to capture the astonishing footage.

Location of Sighting: Rockford, Michigan
Description: A very bright red light stayed stationary in the sky to the southwest of Bostwick Lake near Grand Rapids, Michigan. The light slowly moved toward us and passed slowly directly over us. We observed a central bright red light surrounded by a perfect circle of dimmer red lights. The object began to move more quickly and then seemed to fade out. It did not disappear into the distance, but may have entered a cloud. I saw it again in the distance to the the south of Grand Haven the next night and again it faded out or entered a cloud. Both times fireworks shows were in progress.

Witness Statement: My name is [deleted], and I live with my wife [deleted] at Highview Housein the centre of West End. At about 9.45pm on Sunday the 12th of July whilst watching television we noticed through the window some lights in the sky approaching from the direction of Southampton City, the South West. We rushed out of the house and into the back garden, where we could clearly see six disc and ball shaped objects flying in a circular formation. I would estimate that they were 500 - 750 feet high, and the circular formation was about the size of a dustbin lid held at arms length. They were not attached to each other, there was no noise and there was an obvious intent to their motion which suggested powered flight.

Witness Statement: I was walking back from Springsteen at Hampden last night. Was waiting for a taxi at the corner of Dumbreck Road and Mosspark Boulevard (I see this area is mentioned in previous sightings). Looked to the south east and saw orange balls of light - they looked pretty smooth & didn't flicker. They were rising from the ground to the clouds where they would disappear. Usually rose in a straight line, one at a time, although sometimes two or three would rise in the same line with gaps between them. Once a triangle rose before reorganising and disappearing into the clouds. Each ball took about a minute or so to reach the cloud level and they moved very smoothly - didn't drift about. At one point, what looked like a grey upturned frisbee dropped down from the clouds - it didn't descend as smoothly as the orange balls rose, and it disappeared behind the hills, houses etc between me & wherever this was happening.

Witness Statement: Whilst visiting my father over the weekend, I saw a bright light in the sky. It came up from the South heading towards Kirkcudbright. It was a clear and still night, the object had no nav lights or strobe. As it came closer to the town I noticed there was no engine noise, by this time the light had intensified to super bright white. The object then suddenly turned to the east, maintaining its brightness which I thought very unusual. The altitude was approx 10 000 feet and speed I estimate at 200/300 mph.

Witness Statement: My fiance and I were outside having a cigarette when we heard the sound of a helicopter which we knew from the sound of it's engine was not the police helicopter. We started to scan the sky as it was getting closer but we couldn't yet see it. At this point we saw the brightest white light heading East. It was following a definite course, too low to be a satellite or space junk and was closely followed by.....the helicopter! The helicopter appeared to be hanging back at a lower altitude but was very obviously following the light .

Our region is out of this world when it comes to spotting extra terrestrial activity, according to a UFO spotter who has captured mysterious footage at Garrowby three times.
Tony Topping has posted three videos on the internet, the most recent shot at the weekend, of what he claims are alien craft hovering over Pocklington.
On all three occasions, the footage was taken while he was standing on Garrowby Hill at night.
The 38-year-old from Selby is a ham radio operator and regularly spends evenings at the elevated hill to pick up clearer signals, but says close encounters have become a regular occurrence.
Speaking about footage he shot on 21 June, he said: "We were in my mate's car and we looked up and there it was.
"We get them quite often at Garrowby if you know where to film and look - we're not even surprised to see them anymore!
