Date of Sighting: 14th July 2009
Time: midnight - 12.30

Witness Statement: I was walking back from Springsteen at Hampden last night. Was waiting for a taxi at the corner of Dumbreck Road and Mosspark Boulevard (I see this area is mentioned in previous sightings). Looked to the south east and saw orange balls of light - they looked pretty smooth & didn't flicker. They were rising from the ground to the clouds where they would disappear. Usually rose in a straight line, one at a time, although sometimes two or three would rise in the same line with gaps between them. Once a triangle rose before reorganising and disappearing into the clouds. Each ball took about a minute or so to reach the cloud level and they moved very smoothly - didn't drift about. At one point, what looked like a grey upturned frisbee dropped down from the clouds - it didn't descend as smoothly as the orange balls rose, and it disappeared behind the hills, houses etc between me & wherever this was happening.

Hard to judge distance - they looked pretty big and pretty far away, but I'm guessing. This went on for about 20 mins then stopped. One more ball rose about 10 mins later then my taxi came. I tried to video it on my phone, but they weren't particularly bright so you can't see much. Anyone else see this?
