Wales: Flintshire Evening Leader reader 'intrigued' by possible UFO sighting

A unexplained object in the skies of Flintshire has left a man searching for answers about its origin.
John King, who lives at Bolingbroke Heights, Flint said he was 'utterly intrigued' by a flying object which was moving through the sky above the block of flats on Sunday evening.

John, who lives on the 16th floor, quickly grabbed his camera in an attempt to investigate in more detail. He said: "To my surprise, when I printed out the photos, on one of them beside one of the clouds was a rather strange black speck.

"I had to do some cropping and attempted enlargement and the result was very surprising.

A priest has been called in by a distraught mum after her teenage son told her he had been attacked by a ghost in the family home.

Terrified mum Beverley Wilkins turned to the church after son Daniel was left bruised and bewildered by what his family say could only have been a ghost or poltergeist.

The 13-year-old had finished school and was alone in their home in York Road, Hartlepool, when he claims he was suddenly pulled upright, dragged across the living room, taken to the front door and thrown out into the street.

The incident, on Monday, is said to have lasted five minutes before the startled youngster fled to a neighbour's house.

US: MUFON interviews Michigan family after late-night UFO encounter

A Michigan family's May 5, 2009, close encounter with a triangle-shaped UFO has been declared a True Unknown, according to Michigan Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) field investigator David Twichell's final report.

Twichell interviewed family members and received a witness sketch of the object.

The following is from Twichell's final report and is unedited.

I spoke with the witness via telephone on Sunday May 17, 2009. He reiterated his original report to MUFON HQ. The witness was traveling south on Michigan highway US 127 between Mount Pleasant and Lansing Michigan at 4:30 AM on May 5, 2009.

The witness's adult son was sitting in the passenger's seat and his wife and 90 year old mother were in the back seat. The son noticed a red, pulsating light to his right or east of the highway.

US: University professor describes encounter with sphere-shaped UFO in Missouri

A university law professor riding his motorcycle near Camdenton, Missouri, watched a sphere-shaped object "the size of a small house" floating 150 feet off of the ground, according to witness testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) database.

The witness first saw the object on the south side of the street over a commercial building. He said he became "transfixed" by the object and could not take his eyes off of it.

"I kept wanting to pull my bike over to take a picture," the witness stated, "but was too amazed at the object that I didn't for some reason."

He described the object as reddish in color with a glow. The object then passed over him and hovered on the north side of the street.

The witness finally found a suitable place to pull off, and attempted to take a photo of the object - but it was gone. He said there were no obstructions or trees it could have been hiding behind.

Camdenton is in Camden County, population 2,770.

US: Multiple witnesses watch Orange Sphere UFOs over Kentucky skies

Multiple witnesses in Shepherdsville, Kentucky, watched five bright Orange Spheres moving silently across the sky on July 4, according to witness testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) database.

The five sightings occurred over the course of one hour.

According to the reporting witness, "On the approach side of the craft, it gave off a very bright, not foggy, but an almost laser precision cut orange glow, then as the vehicle would pass by, the glow dimmed a bit and appeared to morph into three nozzle-like dots, sort of like the afterburners on a fighter jet, yet still deep orange in color!"

Please keep in mind that most UFO reports can be explained as something natural or manmade. Argentina: Cattle Mutilations on the Rise (CEUFO)

July 2009: Seven bovines were found mutilated last week in a farm near Puelches, in Southwestern La Pampa. The information was confirmed to CEUFO by local cattlemen who expressed their concern at the new incidents and stated "they did not occur in a single day; rather, they took place throughout the week" while one woman, a ranch owner, added that "strange lights were seen maneuvering over the area for several nights throughout the region."

It should be noted that throughout this area, the presence of "lights" and "vehicles" is so common that on several occasion, local residents contacted CEUFO to witness the maneuvers of "strange vehicles" that are even visible over the area during the daytime hours - a region that is being scourged by a remarkable drought.

This older information - much like the 1947 cases we have been presenting this month - hails from the archives of the late Luis Altamirano, one of Chile's most respected UFO/Fortean researchers. Raul Núñez of the IIEE currently has the files under his custody and is sharing some of its most interesting contents with readers around the world. The legend of the "vampires of Chañaral Alto" emerged that year (1908) in a small community located in the heart of Combarbalá (Chile's 4th region).

On the night of March 9th, over twenty goats were found slain in bizarre circumstances on the premises of livestock producer Rufino Malebrán. Upon examining their carcasses, he reached the chilling conclusion that the animals had been drained of their blood. And that was just the start. Two days later, a similar attack occurred, but this time at Esteban Contreras' ranch. Bovines and horses alike were killed in identically strange circumstances.

US: Three See "Rocket Shaped" Object Ascend & Then Fly Horizontally

Time of Sighting: 10 PM PDT
Location of Sighting: Lewiston, Idaho (West-Central, Idaho Near Washington Border)

Description: I was at a friend's house in Lewiston, Idaho. We were leaving his house to go to the store. The time was around 10:00 PM. I walked to my car and unlocked the door. While I was unlocking the door, I hesitated and looked towards the skies as I often do. In doing so, I saw a plane flying towards Moscow/Pullman (Northeast). I watched this plane fly for a good 2 minutes, when I then noticed a second what looked like a plane, flying from the direction of our airport (West). I watched the plane-like object rise vertically which then unveiled the fact that whatever this object was, it was shaped like a huge missile. The object rose into the sky. On top of it was one very bright white light. As the object rose farther into the sky, it then showed more lights coming over the horizon. If I had to put the object's size into perspective, I would say it was the size of a 747.

Wales: Harlech Crescent, Tycoch - Orange, Spherical Objects Blazing with Light

Date of Sighting: Saturday July 4th
Time: 10.30pm

Witness Statement: On entering Harlech Crescent we witnessed an orange sphere approximately 200 feet in the sky which was subsequently followed by at least 8 others at equal distance to each other. The leading sphere then changed to an angle of 45 degrees and shot off into cloud cover. The others subsequently followed the same path. Ms Lamb reported what we had seen to the police at Cardiff, Swansea Evening Post, The South Wales Echo and The Western Mail. Each contact dismissed what we had seen as chinese lanterns. However, we had just driven through a torrential shower in which, any cardboard lantern would have been destroyed. In a recorded sighting at Cardiff, the objects seen were small and oblong and darting about at just above roof level.

Witness Statement: Just after midnight into 13 July, I stepped outside and saw a bright golden light to the right in the night sky. It took me a few minutes to determine it was not a star (probably 2 or 3 times bigger than Venus), nor was it a moving plane. It seemed to be hovering and moving quite slowly. A few seconds later, it moved further east in a straight line and moments later it seemed to shoot off with great speed in the same direction and I saw it within seconds became just a pinprick and then it was gone. The shape - it appeared to have a wider bottom with a narrower short tower on top - a bit like a bottle cap.
