A unexplained object in the skies of Flintshire has left a man searching for answers about its origin.
John King, who lives at Bolingbroke Heights, Flint said he was 'utterly intrigued' by a flying object which was moving through the sky above the block of flats on Sunday evening.

John, who lives on the 16th floor, quickly grabbed his camera in an attempt to investigate in more detail. He said: "To my surprise, when I printed out the photos, on one of them beside one of the clouds was a rather strange black speck.

"I had to do some cropping and attempted enlargement and the result was very surprising.

"I am certain that birds do not fly that high normally and if it was a plane it was a rather strange shape."

John's sighting come after orbs were seen by Glyn Williams, moving through the sky over Mold last week.

Since the Evening Leader published his story, more people have come forward with claims that they have seen unexplained objects flying over the region.

Tracey Davies, from Penycae saw a yellow object slowly come down from the sky and disappear behind the trees at the back of her house.

She said: "I do not think it was a shooting star as it did not disintegrate before reaching the ground. It looked so close, and was amazing to watch.

"I have no idea what it was, but thought it maybe similar to what Glyn Williams saw."
