True healing: The one thing that Big Pharma can never deliver

lotus flowers
True healing and true health are deep concepts which by their very definition imply oneness and unity (the word heal is etymologically derived from various words such as the Old English hælan meaning "to make whole"). True healing includes the many levels within you beyond just the physical - the integration of the emotional, sexual, mental, spiritual and other selves or layers. True healing is far beyond just "managing", "treating" and "curing" disease, which Big Pharma and its lapdog the FDA like to focus so exclusively upon. Western medicine has its place in society as an excellent tool for specialized surgical or other emergency interventions - however it came into being from the Rockefeller-Big Pharma cartel, whose business model thrives on repeat customers who can't get off the hamster wheel of drug after drug after drug. On a deeper level, is it really any wonder that Western medicine can't deliver true healing, when its approach is narrow and materialistic, rather than broad and holistic - when it's fixated on managing, treating and curing, rather than healing?

Have we finally reached the "Chernobyl" moment with vaccines & vaccine injuries?

Image
On the 25th of April, 1986, in what history would later realize were the waning days of the Soviet Union, the nuclear reactor at Chernobyl in the Ukraine, near the northern border with Belarus, suffered a catastrophic nuclear meltdown, killing thirty-one people from the initial blast and radiation exposure, sickening thousands more, and creating an "exclusion zone" of approximately 1,000 square miles, which according to some scientists, renders it uninhabitable for anywhere from 180-320 years. Estimates of cancer deaths from the Chernobyl release range from a low of 4,000 by the International Atomic Energy Agency, to claims in a recent book by three noted scientists, that put the number of cancer deaths at 985,000.

Victorian-era diseases, such as gout and malnutrition, have dramatically risen in England in the past five years.

Gout, more commonly known as the "disease of kings," is a type of arthritis where crystals of sodium urate form inside and around joints. Hospital admissions for the painful and potentially disabling medical condition have increased by 61 percent in five years, according to the Health and Social Care Information Center.

'Safe Fracking' is a fairytale: Premature birth and problem pregnancies near fracking wells

Image

A new study in the US's 'fracking capital' Pennsylvania has found that pregnant women who live near gas fracking wells are far more likely to give birth prematurely or develop problems during their pregnancies.

Expectant mothers who live near natural gas fracking wells are 40% more likley to give birth prematurely and a 30% increased incidence of 'high-risk' pregnancies.

The finding comes in a new study by Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health published in the journal Epidemiology which examines the health of Pennsylvania residents both near to and far from gas fracking operations.

Question

Does ADHD really exist!? Why don't French kids have it?

Image
At what point did boredom become a mental disorder? Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) seems to have become an epidemic in the United States, with roughly 19% of Americans diagnosed.

Meanwhile, in France, the diagnosis rate is only .5%. So what explains such a wide disparity?

Well, first and foremost, one must recognize that ADHD is an extremely questionable "disorder". A few decades ago, ADHD would have just been called "boredom".

In fact, even Dr. Edward C. Hamlyn of the Royal College of General Practitioners stated, "ADHD is fraud intended to justify starting children on a life of drug addiction."

Flu vaccine madness: FDA expediting approval for deadly flu shot linked to autoimmune disorders, paralysis & death

Image
Last week, Vaccines.news published a snippet about the FDA fast tracking an incredibly dangerous flu vaccine called FLUAD. The piece generated a lot of buzz, prompting us to provide our readers with the full scoop.

Prepare to share this news with all of your friends and family, because, after reading this, you really wouldn't want your loved ones to have this vaccine, which is scheduled to be rolled out for the 2015/2016 flu season.

Officials from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) have decided to accelerate the license of a flu vaccine geared for use in seniors over the age of 65, and also one that has been linked to at least 13 deaths last year, prompting several countries to temporarily suspend vaccine lots containing the drug.

The difference between folic acid and folate

folate, folic acid
Folate and folic acid are different forms of vitamin B9.

Even though there is a distinct difference between the two, their names are often used interchangeably.

In fact, there is a lot of confusion regarding folic acid and folate, even among professionals.

Being aware of their differences is important, because they do not have the same effects on your health.

This article explains the difference between folic acid and folate.

Vitamin B9

Vitamin B9 is an essential nutrient that naturally occurs as folate.

Folate serves many important functions in the body. For example, it plays a crucial role in cell growth and the formation of DNA.

Having low levels of folate is associated with an increased risk of several health conditions.

These include:
  • Elevated homocysteine: High homocysteine levels have been associated with an increased risk of heart disease and stroke (1, 2).
  • Birth defects: Low folate levels in pregnant women have been linked to birth abnormalities, such as neural tube defects (3).
  • Cancer risk: Poor levels of folate are also linked to increased cancer risk (4, 5).

Eggs Fried

The incredible edible chicken egg: A marvel of nature

Image
Chicken eggs are one of the most commonly eaten foods on the planet, and also one of the most versatile. They can be fried, poached, hard-boiled, deviled, coddled, shirred, or scrambled, and are incorporated, both cooked and raw, into thousands of recipes. They're the glue that holds much of the food we eat together, from brownies to meatloaf, and on top of all that, they're delicious and nutritious. But we bet that there are some things that you didn't know about the incredibly versatile egg.

Egg consumption statistics are mind-boggling. Every year, more than 6.6 billion dozen eggs (more than 79 billion in total) are produced in the United States, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture predicts that each American eats about 255 eggs per year - which is actually down from the 1950s, when annual egg consumption was around 400 per person. There are about 280 million egg-laying chickens in the U.S., and egg farms even have their own advocacy groups, among them the Iowa Egg Council, the Virginia Egg Council, and the New England Brown Egg Council.

Human guinea pigs: Link between Glyphosate and a multitude of cancers are reaching "Epidemic Proportions"

Image
© robertscottbell.com
Glyphosate has been detected in human bodies, food, water and in the air. Its use has been strongly associated with various diseases (see this and this).

Following the WHO's classification, the European Food and Safety Authority (EFSA) has been conducting an evaluation of glyphosate and will send its final conclusions to the European Commission (EC) for consideration within the next few days. The EC will then decide whether this herbicide should be included in the EU's list of approved active substances.

The original sanctioning and testing of glyphosate for commercial use was seriously flawed: for example, see this, this, this, and this which highlight the non-transparent, secretive and seriously compromised processes that smack of regulatory delinquency at best and outright fraud at worst in order to protect and benefit the interests of rich agribusiness.

Comment: Don't let Monsanto deny, obscure and belittle the carcinogenicity of glyphosate!
