Burning Frankincense in the form of incense has been a big part of religious and other cultural ceremonies for a millennium. The resin from the Boswellia tree also known as Frankincense or olibanum is believed to be an aroma that will help your soul reach spiritual exaltation.

Frankincense resin is mentioned in many different ancient texts including the old and new testament and is said to have mystical capabilities, a belief that has been carried forward to the spiritual practices of today.

Recently a team of researchers from Johns Hopkins University and the Hebrew University in Jerusalem did a study to see what the effects were of this age-old practice. They studied Frankincense to determine why it has psychoactive effects.

In stark contrast to candidate Clinton in 2008 when questions over the safety and effectiveness of vaccines were just coming to the political consciousness of the American people in large numbers, Hillary has now become a vocal cheerleader of Big Pharma and vaccinations.

While her opinion is odious enough on its face, it is quite the change from the opinion she held as a candidate in 2008 when she stated that there was the possibility that vaccines were linked to autism.

Clinton has a long history of supporting efforts to get children vaccinated. In 1993, she spearheaded the Childhood Immunization Initiative and the Vaccines for Children program, which aimed to make vaccines affordable. Yet, she also has been a strong voice for families dealing with autism, calling in 2007 for $700 million per year to fund research and education. Her comments in 2008 reflected a certain tension to advocating on both fronts.

In fact, she wrote in a campaign questionnaire that she was committed to finding out the causes of autism, including "possible environmental causes like vaccines."[1]

It would be easy to believe the Environmental Protection Agency's mission "to protect human health and the environment" — after all, environment is right, smack in the government agency's very name — but that would be quite the mistake. In fact, judging the EPA's magical manipulation of testing and data concerning glyphosate — the chief ingredient in Monsanto's weedkiller, Roundup — it's arguable the government 'watchdog' functions primarily as a de facto propaganda division for the agrichemical behemoth.

While the World Health Organization's classification earlier this year of glyphosate as a Group 2A probable carcinogen — probable cause of cancer in the same category as creosote, among other noxious substances — is well-known and accepted, Monsanto's leverage means Roundup isn't likely to be pulled from store shelves in the U.S. any time soon. That leverage, however entertaining the resulting propaganda might be, bears potentially harmful consequences.

Comment: While the corporate criminality of biotech corporations like Monsanto and EPA collusion are nothing new, the evidence keeps mounting about how regulatory bodies like the EPA are willing to warp science and the truth to keep consumers in the dark and destroy human health and the environment in the process!

Vaccine activism victory: Parents stop Indiana's unethical HPV vaccine push

It took exactly one month to the day for an activated Indiana population to turn back efforts by their state's health department to coerce and pressure parents, outside of law, into having their children receive the potentially dangerous human papillomavirus vaccine (HPV). Independent health journalist Jefferey Jaxen was contacted by two separate families telling of letters they received by their state's health departments regarding their child's HPV vaccine status. An article chronicling the incidents was immediately published to raise awareness on October 5th, 2015.

Investigation revealed that the official health department letters received did not state whether or not the HPV vaccine was mandatory. This grey area created confusion and anger as many states are currently moving to pass mandatory vaccination laws with potentially severe penalties. What was more striking was the fact that the children, who were named in the official state letters, were found because of their inclusion into a vaccine tracking list. The problem was that the parents never knowingly consented to their child's participation and inclusion onto this list. Investigations revealed that every state has a vaccine tracking list, or immunization information system, for children. With each step to coerce parents, omit vital information, and unethically push vaccines on children, states are losing major integrity.

Recently I got an invitation to appear on a local TV show about animals to talk about canine allergies and the role nutrition plays in their etiology. After I had seen the questions I was going to be presented with, I was delighted at the opportunity to share what I have learned over the years with a wider audience. Sometimes just a simple change of lifestyle is enough to cure many health problems in our pets and I am always happy to share this information with anyone who cares to listen.

Unfortunately it wasn't going to be. The way the cookie crumbles (or I should say the processed food pellet) in today's world is quite different: a few days before the show I was informed that the sponsors of the show (who happen to be a local distributor of well known pet food brand) insisted that I was an inappropriate choice of veterinarian. No big surprise here, everything you can see in the mainstream media is controlled by financial interests, including the news reports.

Does homeopathy actually work? It's a long-standing debate. Although the evidence is mounting that it doesn't, a lot of Americans seem to believe in it. According to the latest estimates from the Centers for Disease Control, about 3.3 million Americans spent $2.9 billion on homeopathic remedies in 2007. The alternative healing practice has a long list of famous acolytes, from W.B. Yeats, Mahatma Gandhi, Mark Twain, and Dizzy Gillespie to more recently, Cindy Crawford, Paul McCartney, Martina Navratilova and Oprah Winfrey. Even former U.S. Surgeon General C. Everett Koop called homeopathic physician Dr. Justice Gage Wright "a great model."

The idea behind homeopathy is simple: Dilute a concentrated tincture of crushed herbs, minerals and animal substances in a solution of alcohol or lactose. German physician Samuel Hahnemann, who conceived of homeopathy in the early 19th century in part due to his distrust of mainstream medical practices such as bloodletting, believed that substances that caused illness could also cure those same illnesses in a diluted form. He called it the "law of similars." The more diluted the substance, he believed, the more effective it was at treating symptoms.

Consider the fact that homeopathy is growing in popularity, contrary to the author's claim that, 'evidence is mounting' that Homeopathy doesn't actually work. Vitamin C has a broad spectrum antioxidant function with the ability to protect cell structures and DNA from free radical damage. It is remarkably safe even in enormously high doses. Compared to commonly used prescription drugs, side effects are virtually nonexistent. No matter how high the concentration, vitamin C does not harm healthy cells. Yet, through an array of enzymatic and metabolic reactions, vitamin C has an impressive ability to protect and treat and wide range of diseases, including cancer.

Colorectal cancer is the third most-common cancer diagnosed in the United States, with about 93,090 new cases each year. Around half of those cases harbor mutations in specific KRAS and BRAF genes; these forms of the disease are more aggressive and don't respond well to current therapies or chemotherapy.

We all know that saturated fats are unhealthy and kill us. The government says it, the experts say it, and the medical professionals say it.

But is this really the case? Let's have a look a the actual science behind this claim.

The hypothesis, that saturated fats are unhealthy was first developed in 1955 by a researcher, Ancel Keys. In his famous - or I should rather say infamous - Seven Countries Study, he showed that the countries with the highest amount of saturated fat in their diet showed the highest rates of cardiovascular disease.

The problem with his study however was pointed out by two other researchers - Yerushalmy and Hilleboe - two years later. Keys had only picked seven countries out of a total of 22 for which these data were available. Had he used the full data set, his theory would have looked much weaker, and his study probably never published.
