Trinity College Dublin researchers point to changes in government advice in Wales, England and Scotland.

Researchers from Trinity College Dublin are calling on the government in Ireland to change recommendations for vitamin D supplements.

A new publication from Dr. Eamon Laird and Professor Rose Anne Kenny, School of Medicine, and the Irish Longitudinal Study on Ageing (TILDA), in collaboration with Professor Jon Rhodes at University of Liverpool, highlights the association between vitamin D levels and mortality from COVID-19.

Even the WHO acknowledges that scientific evidence of effectiveness of wearing masks in community settings is NON-EXISTENT

Comment: We realize a month is a long time in the Corona zone, where time apparently runs differently, so, in the face of the current wave of media bullsh*t about why everyone has to 'ought to' wear medical facemasks, we're re-running this World Health Organization advice that they're useless...

covid mask
While multiple cities in the US roll-out mandatory use of masks in public, the WHO's 2020 guidance recommends against wearing masks in community settings because of a lack of supporting scientific evidence and the potential for increased disease transmission through improper use.

According to its "Advice on the use of masks in the community, during home care and in healthcare settings in the context of the novel coronavirus (‎‎‎‎‎2019-nCoV)‎‎‎‎‎ outbreak: interim guidance, 29 January 2020":
"Wearing medical masks when not indicated may cause unnecessary cost, procurement burden and create a false sense of security that can lead to neglecting other essential measures such as hand hygiene practices."
In fact, the WHO's advice includes a caution that the improper use of masks may even "increase the risk of transmission associated with the incorrect use and disposal of masks."

Comment: That may be true, but what better way to signal one's subservience to the new police state:

Ohio had 6 coronavirus cases in 5 counties in January - Health Director

Ohio had six cases of the coronavirus in five counties in January, state Department of Health Director Dr. Amy Acton said Monday.

The state data shows cases began Jan. 7 and Jan. 26 in Miami County, Jan. 13 in Montgomery, Jan. 18 in Richland, Jan. 20 in Summit and Jan. 27 in Warren.

The state knows of the cases now only because of antibody testing, which will begin ramping up this week.

All six cases are considered probable because the people have antibodies, but their cases can never be confirmed, said health department spokeswoman Melanie Amato. The patients were interviewed by their county health departments, who asked them when they felt sick.

Comment: This is just the latest report to confirm suspicions that the coronavirus has been circulating for a lot longer than presumed; reports from France state that its athletes encountered it in October 2019 at the international Military Games in Wuhan; Italy and Sweden stating that they likely encountered coronavirus in November 2019, meanwhile Ireland suspects cases began in December 2019.

The lockdown kills too: More people dying at home during UK lockdown

About 8,000 more people have died in their own homes since the start of the coronavirus pandemic than in normal times, a Guardian analysis has found, as concerns grow over the number avoiding going to hospital.

Of that total, 80% died of conditions unrelated to Covid-19, according to their death certificates. Doctors' leaders have warned that fears and deprioritisation of non-coronavirus patients are taking a deadly toll.

The data shows 8,196 more deaths at home in England, Wales and Scotland compared with the five-year average for this time of year, including 6,546 non-Covid deaths. It also indicates a drop in non-Covid deaths in hospital, however, leading experts to conclude that many who would ordinarily have been admitted to a ward and died there are instead dying at home.

Jason Oke, a statistician with the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences at the University of Oxford, said: "This would mean fewer deaths from other causes in hospitals and more deaths from other causes at home or in care homes. It is of course possible that, in addition to this, Covid-19 is being missed in people who remain outside of hospital.

"A third explanation is that people are dying of other causes that would not have happened under normal conditions - and are collateral damage of the lockdown." He added that there was no way of knowing for sure based on the available data.

Russel Blaylock: Face Masks Pose Serious Risks to the Healthy

With the advent of the so-called COVID-19 pandemic, we have seen a number of medical practices that have little or no scientific support as regards reducing the spread of this infection. One of these measures is the wearing of facial masks, either a surgical-type mask, bandana or N95 respirator mask. When this pandemic began and we knew little about the virus itself or its epidemiologic behavior, it was assumed that it would behave, in terms of spread among communities, like other respiratory viruses. Little has presented itself after intense study of this virus and its behavior to change this perception.

This is somewhat of an unusual virus in that for the vast majority of people infected by the virus, one experiences either no illness (asymptomatic) or very little sickness. Only a very small number of people are at risk of a potentially serious outcome from the infection — mainly those with underlying serious medical conditions in conjunction with advanced age and frailty, those with immune compromising conditions and nursing home patients near the end of their lives. There is growing evidence that the treatment protocol issued to treating doctors by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), mainly intubation and use of a ventilator (respirator), may have contributed significantly to the high death rate in these select individuals.

World-wide nutritional immunity: Why everybody, everywhere is taking vitamin C

vitamin C vials
"Vitamin C protects against coronavirus." The Orthomolecular Medicine News Service first said so on January 26. The opening sentence of that release was and remains politically incorrect: "The coronavirus pandemic can be dramatically slowed, or stopped, with the immediate widespread use of high doses of vitamin C." The next two sentences are virtually never quoted. "Physicians have demonstrated the powerful antiviral action of vitamin C for decades. There has been a lack of media coverage of this effective and successful approach against viruses in general, and coronavirus in particular."

Shortly after this release, CDC and WHO put up statements at their respective websites declaring that vitamin C was useless against COVID-19. Without even checking sources, USA Today and other newspapers declared it "fake news" and "false information." YouTube deleted videos of licensed physicians supporting therapeutic or even preventive use of vitamin C. Facebook literally blocked and banned this quote from one physician with over 30 years' experience treating viral illnesses:
"I have not seen any flu yet that was not cured or markedly ameliorated by massive doses of vitamin C."

The well-known hazards of coronavirus vaccines

Robert F. Kennedy Jr.,1 son of Sen. and Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy and nephew of U.S. President John F. Kennedy, both of whom were tragically murdered, has continued in the footsteps of these famously courageous men by standing up for the truth.

He co-founded Waterkeeper Alliance — the world's largest clean water advocacy group — and provides legal counsel for the Natural Resources Defense Council, which help protect organic producers. He has also fought legal battles on behalf of the Informed Consent Action Network, founded by Del Bigtree, and chairs the board of directors of the Children's Health Defense.2

Kennedy wrote a brilliant foreword to Judy Mikovits' book "Plague of Corruption," in which he quotes his father saying, "Moral courage is the rarest species of bravery ... rarer than the physical courage of soldiers in battle or great intelligence." His father believed "moral courage was one of the most vital qualities required to change the world," Kennedy says.

Three children in New York die of rare Kawasaki-like disease

Three children, including a five-year-old boy, have died of a mysterious inflammatory syndrome resembling Kawasaki disease or a toxic shock, Governor Andrew Cuomo said, as the state authorities began an inquiry into the cases.

A total of 73 cases of the new disease, involving toddlers and elementary school children, have been registered in New York to date, the governor's office has said. The illness is believed to be linked to the novel coronavirus that has been gripping the state for more than two months and has since infected almost 333,000 and claimed more than 26,000 lives.

New York is not the first to report an inflammatory syndrome in children amid the Covid-19 epidemic. Earlier, British doctors voiced concerns about a similar disease described as affecting children in the UK. The illness has often been compared to Kawasaki disease - a rare disorder of the immune-system which usually affects children younger than five years old, causing severe fever and virus-like symptoms.

Anxiety from reactions to Covid-19 will destroy at least seven times more years of life than can be saved by lockdowns

lockdown stress
Medical studies show that excessive stress and anxiety are among the most debilitating and deadly of all health hazards in the world. Beyond their obvious effects like suicide and substance abuse — these mental stressors are strongly related to and may trigger and inflame a host of ailments like high blood pressure, digestive disorders, heart conditions, infectious diseases, cancer, and pregnancy complications.

Based on a broad array of scientific data, Just Facts has computed that the anxiety created by reactions to Covid-19 — such as stay-at-home orders, business shutdowns, media exaggerations, and legitimate concerns about the virus — will destroy at least seven times more years of human life than can possibly be saved by lockdowns to control the spread of the disease. This figure is a bare minimum, and the actual one is likely more than 90 times greater.

This study was reviewed by Joseph P. Damore, Jr., M.D., who concluded: "This research is engaging and thoroughly answers the question about the cure being worse than the disease." Dr. Damore is a certified diplomate with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, an assistant professor of psychiatry at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University, an assistant attending psychiatrist at New York Presbyterian Hospital, and an adjunct professor in the Department of Behavioral Sciences and Leadership at the U.S. Military Academy.
