Progressives are threatening conservative election attorneys against representing Trump in advance of 2024 election

Progressive activists are warning conservative election attorneys to avoid getting involved in litigation over the 2024 election or they will have their jobs threatened, will be targeted for disbarment, and even prosecuted. Many attorneys who assisted with litigation over the disputed 2020 presidential election, such as Donald Trump's former attorney and constitutional legal scholar John Eastman, underwent disciplinary proceedings and prosecution.

The New York Times published an op-ed a few days ago by law professor Kate Shaw (pictured above, left) warning attorneys not to represent Trump in election litigation. She said, "Lawyers cannot, consistent with their ethical obligations, participate in devising litigation that is retrofitted to support the position Mr. Trump seems to hold — that the only 'real' Americans are those who cast their ballots for him and that those who vote against him are by definition engaging in fraud."
She provided instructions on how to punish these attorneys. "Attorneys at prominent law firms should already know that they cannot defensibly assist in Mr. Trump's specious efforts. If they waver, their corporate clients should make clear they do not want their attorneys associating with a candidate who has already told us he will not respect the will of the voters if they do not choose him."

A Boeing satellite belonging to multinational service provider Intelsat mysteriously blew into pieces in geostationary orbit over the weekend.

According to an official update, an "anomaly" caused the satellite — dubbed IS-33e — to be destroyed, resulting in what the company calls a "total loss."

"Migration and service restoration plans are well underway across the Intelsat fleet and third-party satellites," the update reads.

It's unclear what exactly caused the satellite to break up. The US Space Force announced it was "tracking around 20 associated pieces" but "observed no immediate threats."

Thousands of migrants from Haiti and dozens of other countries have arrived in this isolated Indiana city of 18,000 in just a few years.

Furious residents say they no longer feel safe in the once-sleepy downtown, and their kids are being muscled out of the schools by new students who don't know English and need a lot of help.

They blame Vice President Kamala Harris and President Biden.

In an open letter, Archbishop Viganò strongly urges Catholics to vote for President Trump

Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò
Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò has issued an open letter to American Catholics urging them to vote to re-elect President Trump as a moral imperative. "In this election you must choose between two radically opposed ways of conceiving the government of your Nation: you are called to choose between democracy and dictatorship, between freedom and slavery," the Archbishop wrote.

Catholics still are "the largest single religious denomination in America," with an especially big presence in the large industrial states including Pennsylvania, Michigan, Illinois, and Ohio. Even more important the majority of Catholics tend to vote for the winner in presidential elections. At the Alfred E. Smith Memorial Dinner in New York City (named for Al Smith, the first Catholic president) last Thursday, Trump asserted that he was "leading big" among Catholics.

Comment: Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò has to be one of the most courageous and politically/socially astute religious leaders we have come across in recent history. Even if one isn't a Catholic, or Christian, it would be difficult for the well informed observer to disagree with his many accurate assessments of the situation we currently find ourselves in.

That's a lot of bridges over troubled waters.

The Empire State ranks 11th in the nation for dilapidated bridges, as nearly every single span in the state — 99.46% — is in need of some kind of repair, a report said.

And nearly 10 percent of New York State's 17,642 bridges were so bad they classified as "structurally deficient," according to a 2024 report from the American Road and Transportation Builders Association.

Abercrombie & Fitch Ex-CEO Arrested In Florida On Sex Trafficking Charges

Mike Jeffries
Former Abercrombie & Fitch CEO Mike Jeffries
The ex-CEO of Abercrombie & Fitch was arrested in South Florida on Tuesday morning and faces sex trafficking-related charges brought by federal prosecutors in New York, NBC News reported. This comes one year after former A&F CEO Mike Jeffries was accused of running a giant sex-trafficking ring that exploited young men who wanted to become models for the brand.

NBC said Jeffries' associates, Matthew Smith of West Palm Beach, Florida, and James Jacobson of Wisconsin, were also charged in connection with the sex trafficking case. This news comes hours before federal prosecutors in Brooklyn plan to hold a press conference to announce the arrests of a "former CEO of a major company" and two others in a "sex trafficking and interstate prostitution case."

In October 2023, A&F and the former CEO were sued. Court documents at the time depicted a horror story wherein Jeffries, the once-celebrated architect of the brand's provocative image, was accused of masterminding the despicable sex trafficking operation.

Sean "Diddy" Combs has been accused of allegedly drugging and raping a 13-year-old girl as two celebrities joined in at a VMAs afterparty in New York two decades ago, according to a new wave of lawsuits.

The disturbing allegations were laid bare in a slew of civil lawsuits filed against the fallen music mogul in the Southern District of New York late Sunday.

In one of the suits, an alleged teen victim — only identified as "Jane Doe" — claims she was attacked after having one drink that left her feeling "woozy and lightheaded" at the drug-fueled house party in September 2000, the court papers charge.

"Looking for a place to rest, Plaintiff entered what she believed to be an empty bedroom so she could lie down for a moment," the suit states.

"Soon after, Combs, along with a male and female celebrity, entered the room."

"Combs aggressively approached Plaintiff with a crazed look in his eyes, grabbed her, and said, 'You are ready to party,'" the filing added.

Mountains of trash were left behind after the raid, including dozens of sofas and mattresses that had been cleared out of the apartments where gang members were forcing people into prostitution
A dangerous Venezuelan gang has taken over at least four apartment complexes in San Antonio, Texas, as it expands its reach in yet another America city, DailyMail.com can reveal.

Dubbed the 'epitome of evil', Tren de Aragua (TdA) is known to run drug smuggling, child prostitution and human trafficking rings in South America, with its members crossing over into the US in recent years amid a wave of Venezuelan migrants.

The tattooed mobsters have since unleashed a wave of crime across the country from Miami and Texas to Denver and New York.

The gang's activities in the American cities are back in the spotlight after ABC News' Martha Raddatz claimed the instances of gang members' presence in apartments was limited to a 'handful' of complexes in Aurora, Colorado.

Just last week a small army of police officers raided an apartment complex in San Antonio and arrested 19 individuals - including four gang members.

Protests erupted at the Japan International Aerospace Exhibition (JA2024) in Tokyo, leading to the forced closure of the booth operated by Elbit Systems, Israel's largest arms manufacturer. The protests, organized both inside and outside the exhibition hall, targeted Elbit Systems' involvement in supplying weapons used in the ongoing genocide in Gaza and military operations in the West Bank.

Activists stormed Elbit Systems' booth, holding signs and chanting slogans such as "Shame on you, Elbit!" and "The genocidal company must go!" Their presence, alongside the growing number of protesters outside the exhibition center at Tokyo Big Sight, prompted the company to shut down its display prematurely.

Comment: Other protestors confronted Elbit directly:

Activists in the UK do their part:

"In Kent, UK, Palestinian activists raided the weapons factory of Elbit Systems, a Zionist company that manufactures drones and precision missiles for the genocide in Gaza.

Activists dismantled machinery and parts used to create the bombs that killed 16,600 children in eight months in Gaza."

Kremlin questions election results in ex-Soviet state

Certain aspects of this weekend's presidential election in Moldova raise "many questions," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Monday, commenting on what he called an unusual surge in votes for pro-EU President Maia Sandu.

During Sunday's vote, Sandu garnered 42% of the vote while her main rival, the Party of Socialists' Alexandr Stoianoglo, got 26%. Since neither candidate managed to secure an absolute majority, a run-off will be held next month to determine the winner.

On the same day, a referendum was held on defining EU accession as a national goal in the Moldovan constitution. The 'yes' vote gained the support of 50.31% of participants while 49.69% voted against.

Commenting on the results of these votes on Monday, Peskov stated that Moscow has "many questions" regarding the process and the results.

"The first thing that we see is, of course, the difficulty to explain the rates of growth of votes for Sandu and other referendum participants who are leaning towards the European Union," the spokesman said, saying that "any observer who understands the essence of political processes even a little can note the anomalies with the growth of votes."
