Lefties flee X for Bluesky, then deluge site with mass censorship demands

It's yet another reminder of the dark days of pre-Musk Twitter when social media was completely dominated by blue-check Karens and a vast army of San Francisco-based moderators. In the wake of Donald Trump's election victory which was helped in large part by Elon Musk, high profile celebrities along with washed up has-beens are announcing their great exodus from X.

Destination? Bluesky, a social media platform which is trying to recreate the progressive cancel culture hellscape of 2020 Twitter. It was created by former longtime Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, who later left the organization. The company recently reported an increase of 3 million users since October, rising to 15 million total users in November. Compare this to X with its reported user base of over 600 million and it's easy to see why the political left was so enraged by the sale of the company to Musk with his abhorrent free speech policies.

It's also hard to see how Bluesky represents anything other than a sweaty bubble of cope.

It's been a wild ride. After years of near total leftist control of every significant social and governmental institution in the US and abroad the American people have said enough is enough. The progressives have once again been slapped with the ultimate lesson of our era - Get Woke, Go Broke. This time they're not just broke; they're broken.

I don't think I've seen such an electoral bloodbath in my lifetime (maybe the Reagan landslide in 1984, but I was only a child). The conservatives control the Oval Office, the Senate, the House and the Supreme Court. Regardless of what you might think of Trump, what's important is that he ran his campaign on anti-woke and anti-globalism and the US population voted for that agenda en masse.

The American people want an end to the madness of the leftist/globalist regime. They want an end to establishment corruption. They want an end to US involvement in foreign conflicts. They want the woke indoctrination of their children to stop. They want an end to open borders. They want an end to perpetual debt spending and inflation. And, they want reassurance that events like the attempted covid coup against our constitutional liberties will never happen again.

A banana duct-taped to a wall has sold for $6.2m (£4.9m) at an auction in New York.

The conceptual art piece, called Comedian, became a viral sensation after Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan debuted it at Art Basel Miami Beach in 2019.

Festivalgoers tried to make out whether the single piece of fruit stuck to a white wall with silver tape was a joke or cheeky commentary on questionable standards among art collectors.

The Sotheby's auction house said it was the announcement of a new original work by the prominent and provocative artist Cattelan that initially captured the world's attention, but Comedian "quickly erupted into a viral global sensation that drew record crowds, social media inundation, landed the cover of The New York Post, and divided viewers and critics alike".

The US has become a fascist state under the administration of President Joe Biden, former Fox News host Tucker Carlson has claimed during an interview with American journalist Glenn Greenwald which was published on his YouTube channel on Wednesday.

Carlson stated that Washington's decision to allow Ukraine to use US-supplied ATACMS missiles to strike targets deep inside Russia is "the most evil thing I've ever seen in my lifetime" and accused the outgoing government, which he described as a "lame duck administration" of trying to "leave the next administration with a world war."

"In fact, it is our government that is the fascist state, not Russia," Carlson said.

The journalist argued that Biden's reported decision to lift restrictions for Ukraine, "a proxy state of the US," to strike Russian territory using Western long-range missiles could provoke a nuclear war.

X owner Elon Musk has fired back at the news that British MPs will "summon" him to their parliament to address allegations of spreading 'disinformation'.

GB News reports that "An inquiry in the House of Commons is meaning to investigate the rise of 'harmful' AI content online by calling tech heavyweights to probe the 'spread of content that can mislead and harm.'"

The report adds that "Labour's select committee chairwoman, MP Chi Onwurah has called on the Tesla and SpaceX owner to explain his alleged 'promotion of pure disinformation.'"

Musk responded in typical fashion on X, writing that British MPs "will be summoned to the United States of America to explain their censorship and threats to American citizens.'"

Jen Rubin, a columnist for the Washington Post, has truly lost her mind.

This has been building for several years now. The 2016 election of Donald Trump broke her mind and since then, instead of finally coming to her senses, she has gotten progressively worse. This goes beyond Trump Derangement Syndrome. This woman obviously has serious mental health issues but for some reason, is still employed by the Post.

Rubin was recently doing some sort of podcast type of broadcast, and while offering political advice to the left, suggested saying that Republicans want to kill your kids, which she then tried to explain as factually true.

Most Ukrainians now want quick end to war

The number of respondents seeking urgent peace talks has almost doubled since last year, according to Gallup.

A majority of Ukrainians now favor a rapid end to the ongoing conflict with Russia through peace negotiations, according to a recent survey conducted by Gallup.

In its latest report, on Tuesday, the American pollster reported that 52% of respondents believe Kiev should pursue peace talks to end the war as soon as possible. This marks a substantial rise from 27% in 2023 and just 22% in 2022.

Gallup's data reflects a major shift in public sentiment as the prolonged fighting takes a toll on Ukrainian society. "The rising number of Ukrainians advocating for a diplomatic resolution suggests growing fatigue with the conflict," the report noted, adding that domestic concerns are increasingly influencing opinions.

House Speaker Mike Johnson announced Wednesday that biological males posing as females will not permitted to use women's bathrooms in the Capitol.

"All single-sex facilities in the Capitol and House Office Buildings — such as restrooms, changing rooms, and locker rooms — are reserved for individuals of that biological sex," Johnson said. "It is important to note that each Member office has its own private restroom, and unisex restrooms are available throughout the Capitol."

"Women deserve women's only spaces," he added.

"Like all policies, it is enforceable," Johnson later told reporters. "But we have single-sex facilities for a reason, and women deserve women's only spaces. And we're not anti anyone. We're pro-women, and I think it's an important policy for us to continue. It's always been the, I guess, an unwritten policy, but now it's in writing."

Johnson's decision came after two days of intense wrangling on Capitol Hill related to incoming transvestite Rep. Sarah McBride's (D-Del).

It's yet another piece of the Great Reset agenda, specifically the war on food.

A quick course for non-Brits who don't know how our country works (and, indeed, the substantial number of Brits who have recently demonstrated they don't know how their own country works):

Since 1984 working farms have been 100% exempt from paying inheritance tax under the "agricultural property relief" (APR) system.

The justification for this was that working farms are needed to produce the food we all eat, and since British farming families are generally asset-rich but cash-poor, charging inheritance tax on farmland might negatively impact farm output.
