President of Mongolia Tsakhia Elbegdorj said on Wednesday that his country proposed Russia to consider a possibility of stretching a natural gas pipeline across the Mongolian territory.

"I have described the advantages of stretching a pipeline across the territory of Mongolia," Elbegdorj said following his talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin, who is currently on an official visit to Mongolia.

Rosneft's interest

Russia's major oil company Rosneft intends to expand its presence on the Mongolian market, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Wednesday.

Rosneft "meets most of the country's oil product demand, supplies Genghis Khan International Airport in Ulan Bator and has major plans for expanding its presence on the Mongolian market," Putin said.

Putin added that during negotiations the sides agreed to strengthen interaction in the air transport sphere. "The Protocol on co-operation in the sphere of civil aviation and Memorandum on the expansion of the air route network of Russia's Aeroflot carrier and Mongolia Airlines will contribute to this," he said.

ISIS knows no bounds, threatens Putin, Caliphate in Chechnya

Image
ISIS threats, it would appear, are not limited to President Obama and his American allies. RIA is reporting that Russian leaders are seeking to cut access to an ISIS video posted that threatens Putin (for ties to Assad), and plans to liberate (via Caliphate) Chechnya, and calls the Chechnyan leader, Ramzan Kadyrov, a Putin puppet. The Chechnya leader took to Instagram to respond slamming "these bastards have no relation to Islam," and exclaiming if they try to threaten Russia or Chechnya "you will be destroyed."

Via Memri,

Vladimir Putin was directly and personally threatened by extremist Islamic terror group ISIS because of his close ties to Syrian leader Bashar Hafez al-Assad, and will liberate Chechnya and Caucasus...

Comment: The Islamic State knows no bounds. The fear mongering is at fever pitch. But this should've been obvious. It was only a matter of time before the U.S.'s creation started threatening the U.S.'s enemies. Funny how they always tend to do that, no?

Pepe Escobar: NATO attacks and yet the real deal is the SCO summit

First thing we do, let's kill all the myths. The North Atlantic Treaty Organization is nothing but the Security Council of the Empire of Chaos.

You don't need to be a neo-Foucault hooked on Orwellian/Panopticon practices to admire the hyper-democratic "ring of steel" crossing average roads, parks and even ringing castle walls to "protect" dozens of NATO heads of state and ministers, 10,000 supporting characters and 2,000 journalists from the real world in Newport, Wales - and beyond.

NATO's summit in Wales also provides outgoing secretary-general Anders "Fogh of War" Rasmussen the chance to display his fullattack dog repertoire. It's as if he's auditioning for a starring role in a remake of Tim Burton's epic Mars Attacks!

Fogh of War is all over the place, talking "pre-positioning of supplies, equipment" - euphemism for weapons; boosting bases and headquarters in host countries; and touting a 10,000-strong, rapid reaction "spearhead" force to respond to Russian "aggression" and deployable in a maximum of five days.

Meanwhile, in a bad cop-bad cop routine, outgoing president of the European Commission, outstanding mediocrity Jose Manuel Barroso, leaked that Russian President Vladimir Putin told him over the phone later last week he could take Kiev in a fortnight if he wanted.

Common sense: 7-step plan proposed by Putin to stop hostilities in E. Ukraine

Image

Kiev must withdraw troops from southeastern regions of Ukraine and rebels must stop offensive to stop bloodshed, Russia's President Vladimir Putin says. He and Ukrainian leader Petro Poroshenko discussed "a ceasefire regime."

President Putin has outlined a seven-point plan to stabilize the situation in the crisis-torn east of Ukraine.

"On my way here from [the city of] Blagoveschensk to Ulan-Bator [Mongolia], I outlined some ideas and plan of actions. It's here, but in handwriting," Putin told reporters.

Comment: This may seem like wishful thinking on Putin's part but there is no one else stepping up to the plate to resolve the Ukraine crises and the killing of civilians.

Council on Foreign Relations: Give money directly to the people

Image
"You can always count on Americans to do the right thing, after they've tried everything else." - Winston Churchill

When an article appears in Foreign Affairs, the mouthpiece of the policy-setting Council on Foreign Relations, recommending that the Federal Reserve do a money drop directly on the 99%, you know the central bank must be down to its last bullet.

The September/October issue of Foreign Affairs features an article by Mark Blyth and Eric Lonergan titled "Print Less But Transfer More: Why Central Banks Should Give Money Directly To The People." It's the sort of thing normally heard only from money reformers and Social Credit enthusiasts far from the mainstream. What's going on?

The Fed, it seems, has finally run out of other ammo. It has to taper its quantitative easing program, which is eating up the Treasuries and mortgage-backed securities needed as collateral for the repo market that is the engine of the bankers' shell game. The Fed's Zero Interest Rate Policy (ZIRP) has also done serious collateral damage. The banks that get the money just put it in interest-bearing Federal Reserve accounts or buy foreign debt or speculate with it; and the profits go back to the 1%, who park it offshore to avoid taxes. Worse, any increase in the money supply from increased borrowing increases the overall debt burden and compounding finance costs, which are already a major constraint on economic growth.

Meanwhile, the economy continues to teeter on the edge of deflation. The Fed needs to pump up the money supply and stimulate demand in some other way. All else having failed, it is reduced to trying what money reformers have been advocating for decades - get money into the pockets of the people who actually spend it on goods and services.

Comment: It is very, very unlikely, that this is going to happen. Because in the end, the destruction of the financial system is a long-term (?) goal of the Elite. That the CFR is chiming in with these thoughts shows that in certain economic circles there is a growing desperation.

The real terrorists exposed again: Zionist settlers consume more Palestinian land

Throughout the Occupied West Bank and Occupied al-Quds (Jerusalem), Zionist settlers are digging in.

They are excavating foundations for new settlements, uprooting Palestinian olive trees and smashing Palestinian homes with their bulldozers.

Today there are well over half a million Zionist invaders squatting in al-Quds and the West Bank, stocking up on weapons and " all too often" using Palestinian children for target practice.

More hysteria: U.S. sez 11 airplanes seized by Islamist rebels in Lybia could be used to carry out terrorist attack on 9/11 anniversary

U.S. officials fear Islamic militants have stolen nearly a dozen commercial planes in Libya which could be used to carry out 9/11-style terrorist attacks in the region.

Eleven commercial jets operated by two state-owned airlines went missing last month, after militant group Libyan Dawn overtook the international airport in the capital city of Tripoli.

In the past two weeks, the U.S. government has been issuing warnings about the deteriorating state in Libya, drawing attention to the fact that the planes could be used in attacks to mark the anniversary of 9/11 later this month, sources who read the briefs told the Washington Free-Beacon.

'There are a number of commercial airliners in Libya that are missing,' one official told the Free-Beacon. 'We found out on September 11 what can happen with hijacked planes.'

Comment: With the coming anniversary of 9/11, the psychos in power plan to capitalize on it as much as possible.

  • The Department of Homeland Security has lost track of 58,000 foreigners on student visas but only 6,000 of them are subjects of 'heightened concern'
  • As of last year, the government had lost touch with more than a million total visa holders

The federal government has let more than 6,000 foreigners on student visas who represent a national security threat slip through the cracks, according to a news report released Tuesday.

The Department of Homeland Security lost contact with the foreigners, who ABC News says are of 'heightened concern,' after they overstayed their visas and has been unable to reestablish contact.

'My greatest concern is that they could be doing anything,' Peter Edge, an Immigration and Customs Enforcement official, told ABC News. 'Some of them could be here to do us harm.'

Putin: EU is turning a blind eye to the fact that the Ukrainian troops are "directly targeting" civilians

    Image
    © AP

Russian President Vladimir Putin has accused the European Union of turning a blind eye to the Ukrainian troops "directly targeting" civilians in the east of the country.

The Ukrainian military "is directly targeting its fire on residential areas" and "unfortunately many countries, including in Europe, prefer not to notice that," Putin said on Monday.

He added that the goal of pro-Russia forces operating in eastern Ukraine is "to push back [Ukrainian] armed forces and artillery so they cannot fire on residential areas."

The eastern parts of Ukraine have been witnessing four months of fighting between the pro-West government and pro-Russia fighters.

Putin's comments came hours after the European Union threatened to slap new sanctions on Russia. Moscow has already been under European sanctions over its alleged involvement in the deadly insurgency in neighboring Ukraine.

Comment: Amid all lies and sanctions against him, Putin continues to ask for an end to the slaughter of unarmed civilians in East Ukraine by the Kiev junta army, which is financed and supported by the U.S. and NATO. Who's the villain here?

US Army preparing to fight shadowy criminals, extremists and influential political dissidents

    Image
    © Anthony Freda Art
As we've witnessed recently in Ferguson, Missouri, the difference between police and military is already nearly indistinguishable. In other words, the Army is already taking on peaceful citizens in domestic cities. Tank-supported SWAT teams already grenade and raid homes to serve warrants for victimless, non-violent offenses. What more can they possibly train for?

The U.S. Army is now officially getting into the crime-fighting business. According to the Army Times, the Army is training to fight battles in megacities, not against other armies, but to help local authorities root out shadowy criminals, extremists and, wait for it, wait for it, influential political dissidents.

The Army Times reports on this year's Unified Quest war games drill:
When the Army looks to the future, it sees cities. Dense, sprawling, congested cities where criminal and extremist groups flourish almost undetected by authorities, but who can influence the lives of the population while undermining the authority of the state.

And the service is convinced that these "megacities" of 20 million or more people will be the battleground of the future.

Comment: Why militarize the police when you can bring in the military itself?
