Israeli soldiers destroy West Bank drinking water pipeline that had been funded by UN

israeli soldiers
Israeli military bulldozers destroyed, Monday, a drinking water pipeline that was funded by The United Nations International Children's Fund (UNICEF) in the Central Plains of the occupied West Bank.

Mo'taz Bisharat, a Palestinian official in charge of Israeli colonies' file at the Palestinian Authority in central West Bank, said many Israeli army jeeps and bulldozers invaded the area, during early morning hours, and destroyed a drinking water pipeline, providing water to Palestinian communities along the al-Hadeediyya and ar-Ras al-Ahmar areas.

Bisharat added that the pipeline provided clean drinking water to 47 families, and extended on 8.5 kilometers.

He also stated that the pipeline's installation and equipment costs were 12500 euros, provided by the UNICEF to enable access to clean drinking water, and added that the soldiers confiscated large sections of the pipeline.

It is worth mentioning that this destruction is the second of its kind in one month.

Worst ever US Ambassador to UN Nikki Haley: We must sanction Assad over chemical weapons!

Nikki Haley
Recently, we had a look at the ways President Trump's Ambassador to the UN, Nikki Haley, is making her predecessor, "humanitarian bomber" Samantha Power, look like a model diplomat by comparison. It turns out Haley's ghastly performance at the UN thus far is no fluke. Each time she opens her mouth she spews not the kind of foreign policy that President Trump campaigned on, but rather the boot-in-the-face know-nothingness that we have grown accustomed to in recent years.

In the latest "Haley Alert," the Ambassador is furious over a Russia-threatened veto of a UN Security Council resolution offered by the US, UK, and France to impose new sanctions on the Syrian government over unproven allegations that Syria used chemical weapons against its own population.

House Intelligence Committee Chair: 'No evidence' of Trump campaign contacts with Russia

The House Intelligence Committee probe into possible improper contacts between Donald Trump's presidential campaign and Russia has not found any evidence yet, according to the Republican committee chair.

"We still have not seen any evidence" that the Trump campaign communicated with Russia, Rep. Devin Nunes, the House Intelligence Committee chairman, told reporters on Monday.

Michael Flynn, Trump's former national security adviser who spoke with the Russian Embassy in Washington prior to the inauguration, was just doing his job, Nunes said. He added that US intelligence services eavesdropping on the call amounted to "inadvertent collection," but was "very interested" to find out who made the decision to publish Flynn's name.

"The Logan Act's ridiculous and you know it," Nunes told reporters who inquired whether Flynn was acting improperly. No one has ever been prosecuted under the early 19th-century law banning US citizens from engaging in foreign policy without government sanction.

Donald Trump has taken to Twitter yet again to blast reports that Russian hackers interfered to help him win the presidency as "fake news."

"Russia talk is FAKE NEWS put out by the Dems, and played up by the media, in order to mask the big election defeat and the illegal leaks!" the US leader wrote.

The nature of the leaks and the publishers the information has been passed to, says far more about what's going on the Washington than the content of the leaks.

When Julian Assange's Wikileaks, published the infamous Clinton and DNC emails during the course of the US Presidential Election, the world learnt a great deal.

Calculating the Body Count: Is Covert War Being Waged Against Russia?

deep state
In October 2014, the Washington Post openly speculated that Russia was responsible for spreading Ebola.

So in the spirit of speculation, and especially considering that no less than four top Russian diplomats have dropped dead in the last two months, we would like to share a rough chronology of all the "tragic accidents" and straight-up assassinations that have happened to — or been blamed on — Russia.

We did not attempt to list all the things that Russia has been blamed for over the last two years — ranging from Brexit to killer squids. This is strictly a body count.

Did Saudi Arabia manipulate US veterans into lobbying against 9/11 legislation?

JASTA veteran 9/11 protest

Comment: The following is an interesting look into the lobbying activities of US military veterans, and the 'not-so-hidden hand' of Saudi Arabia. As the reader will see, the entire fiasco seems, if anything, designed to draw attention to Saudi Arabia and their fight against 9/11 legislation. No doubt the Saudis are involved in all sorts of nasty intrigues in the US but, as usual - cui bono?

And those '28 pages' that supposedly reveal the Saudis' role in the 9/11 attacks? They are, at best, a limited hang-out - a diversionary tactic - to draw attention from the main players within the US and Israel, and to keep the psychos in Saudi Arabia dancing to the Western tune.

Three veterans who were flown to Washington as part of a Saudi-sponsored campaign to lobby for changes to the Justice Against Sponsors of Terrorism Act (JASTA) say organizers of the event concealed the Saudi role in the initiative.

Enacted in September 2016 over President Obama's veto, JASTA altered the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act in a way that cleared the path for 9/11 families and survivors to sue the kingdom for its alleged support of the hijackers.

Earlier this month, The Daily Caller and Politico were first to report that Qorvis MSLGROUP, the public relations giant that works on behalf of Saudi Arabia, has been organizing veterans to travel to Washington at no expense to lobby against JASTA. The veterans initiative is part of a much broader Saudi campaign against the law.

Turkey cuts Euphrates River flow to Syrian dam - East Aleppo province left without power

Dam Euphrates Turkey
Tishrin Dam, Manbij, Syria
Turkey has cut off the Euphrates River flow to Northern Syria, leaving Tishrin dam and its hydropower plant non-operational in Eastern Aleppo having to stop operation.

According to Hawar news "People in North of Syria particularly in Kobanî canton and Manbij are suffering from cutting off the electricity as the Turkish government cut off Euphrates water which reduced water level in Tishrin Dam Lake, and therefore, the power cut off on many North Syria areas."

"Since Friday night, the power totally has been cut off after ceasing Tishrin Dam from generating electricity," the local website reported. Soon, the management of Tishrin Dam released a statement and made the reasons of cutting off the electricity clear.

Jahineh news reported that Turkey has closed off the flow of water in the Euphrates River that runs from its Southern territories to Northern Syria.

The Euphrates River is the main source of water reservoir behind the Tishrin Dam.

Authorities try to provide people with fuel to operate to avoid the problem of cutting off, Rasho Muhammad told Hawar news.

The administrative in services committee in Democratic Civil Administration in Manbij also emphasized that "Turkey violated the international conventions of water and rivers energy by cutting off Euphrates water".
