Zakharchenko surprise: We have one goal - reunification with Russia

Aleksandr Zakharchenko
Today Zakharchenko said something quite surprising at a meeting of the Integration Committee "Russia-Donbass".

"We have one goal - the reunification with the motherland, and the motherland is Russia - and that is the ultimate goal of this committee, all the work is aimed only at one thing - Homecoming"

This was reported in the Russian info-sphere. At first glance, this sounds pretty obvious. After all, in the course of this three year conflict, with thousands of civilians killed, millions internally displaced, and tens of thousands of military casualties, what else has motivated the so-called 'rebels'? It wasn't for nothing that the Lugansk and Donetsk declared people's republics, separate from Ukraine.

Venezuela's major opposition is not interested in taking part in free general elections, but instead, seeks ways to create chaos and violently oust President Nicholas Maduro from office, the head of the commission for the newly introduced Constituent Assembly told RT.

"They are not interested in taking part in the elections when the situation is politically, economically and socially stable. Now they are not planning to run for elections at all, but initially they wanted the election to take place amid economic and social chaos in the country, thus they could have won by creating a mess in our society," Elías José Jaua Milano, who was appointed president of the commission for the National Constituent Assembly, said in an interview with RT Spanish.

"This is their goal. They are not striving for elections taking place in normal conditions so that our people could freely express their political will," Jaua Milano noted.

A fighter jet was scrambled to intercept a US reconnaissance plane over neutral waters of the Black Sea on May 9, the Russian Defense Ministry revealed on Friday.

"After approaching a plane at a safe distance the Russian pilot visually identified the flying object as a US surveillance plane P-8A Poseidon," the Russian military said.

The Russian pilot "greeted" the US pilots with a special maneuver, after which the US plane changed its course away from the Russian border.

The incident occurred on May 9 at around 9am GMT, when Russian radars detected an aerial target over neutral waters of the Black Sea approaching the Russian border.

Not likely: Human rights groups demand Queen confront Bahrain's King Hamad on abuses or sever ties completely

Queen Elizabeth II must discuss repression, torture and executions committed by the Bahraini state when she meets king Hamad bin Isa al-Khalifa on Friday or end Britain's relationship with him altogether, human rights groups say.

Hamad will meet the queen and 19 other guests in the 'Kingdom of Bahrain' lounge at the annual Windsor Horse Show.

In a letter to Buckingham Palace, rights groups Reprieve, Americans for Democracy & Human Rights in Bahrain, Index, ECDHR and Bahrain Institute for Rights & Democracy say "ties must be severed" between the horse show and Bahrain.

"King Hamad ... who sponsors four events in the show, is directly involved in the serious deterioration in the human rights situation in Bahrain that has taken place in the last year.

Comment: Both the US and the UK are more than willing to overlook human rights abuses in Bahrain, or any other country for that matter as long as such countries remain useful pawns.

Italian government investigating NGO's for colluding with human traffickers in Mediterranean

MSF accused illegal immigration

Doctors without Borders (MSF) is under investigation over allegations it facilitates illegal immigration as debate rages in Italy following accusations, backed by the government, that NGOs are colluding with Libyan people smugglers.

Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera reported that Italian prosecutors have begun investigating MSF for rescuing migrants stranded at sea allegedly without notifying Italy's coast guard.

MSF crew are accused of telling migrants not to cooperate with Italian and EU border authorities during "debriefing" when they arrive on land, according to the newspaper.

Investigating Sicilian prosecutor Ambrogio Cartosio told the Senate Defense Commission on Wednesday that several members of multiple humanitarian organizations are under investigation on suspicion they may be working with people smugglers.

The newspaper, however, stated that the prosecutor didn't state the name any particular NGO.

"The Trapani prosecutors' office has current investigations concerning the possible crime of abetting illegal migration focused not on NGOs per se, but individuals belonging to NGOs," he said.

Comment: The Soros subversion control machine and the complicity of organizations
There's ample evidence George Soros is the architect and dictator of the entire migrant/refugee situation destroying Europe today. With control mechanisms purchased or leveraged in every sphere that matters, it is not unreasonable to assume Soros directs EU leadership like a master puppeteer. The dogma, missions, rhetoric, tone, and direction of every piece of OSF documentation DC Leaks uncovered puts Soros activities in the crosshairs. From Doctors Without Borders and obscure organizations like The Federation of Greek Organizations for People with Disabilities, Soros levers anything and anyone capable of aiding his goals.

State sanctioned pedophilia? New Jersey governor vetoes child marriage ban citing 'culture and traditions'

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie vetoed the bill that would have outlawed underage marriage in the state, saying the lack of exceptions trampled on cultural and religious traditions of some communities in the state.

Christie prevented the enactment of state Bill A3091. Sponsored by Assemblywoman Nancy Munoz (R-Morris County), the measure would have banned underage marriage without exceptions, a first for any US state. It was adopted by the Assembly in November 2016 and the New Jersey Senate in March.

"An exclusion without exceptions would violate the cultures and traditions of some communities in New Jersey based on religious traditions," Christie said in his veto announcement on Thursday. " Judicial oversight would permit consideration of these factors in the 16- and 17-year-old timeframe."

"All 50 states have established minimum ages for the issuance of marriage licenses, and all 50 states have statutory exceptions. New Jersey should not depart from that norm," Christie added.

'The Russians are coming!': US Senator has a paranoid meltdown on CNN

Cory Booker
US Senator Cory Booker
US Senator Cory Booker has likened the hysterical investigation into Russia's alleged interference in the 2016 presidential election to the the American Revolution against the British Empire.

Booker told CNN anchor Erin Burnett...
"We've got to get back to the focus of what's going on right now."

"Which is really a moment in American history where we've had an unprecedented attack on our elections, and how are we as a nation going to respond? Donald Trump clearly has not taken this seriously, in what should be a Paul Revere moment for our country, where people are talking about the Russians are coming."
CNN started the interview by asking the New Jersey Senator for his view on the firing of FBI Director James Comey...
"I don't want to let that distract from the urgency — in fact, the crisis of this moment, where we have Russia who has attacked our country in a cyber way — trying to undermine our elections."

"And there's a whole urgency to get to the bottom of what happened."

The US State Department has approved a $2 billion sale of missiles to the United Arab Emirates. The Pentagon says the sale will "contribute to the foreign policy and national security of the US" and won't alter the "basic military balance in the region."

The deal would include 60 Patriot PAC-3 missiles, manufactured by Lockheed Martin, as well as 100 GEM-T missiles made by Raytheon.

The Defense Department's Defense Security Cooperation Agency said in a statement that the sale is "consistent with US initiatives to provide key allies in the region with modern systems that will enhance interoperability with US forces and increase security."
