All 'Islamic Terrorism' is perpetrated by fundamentalist Sunnis, except terrorism against Israel

terrorists
My examination of 54 prominent international examples of what U.S. President Donald Trump is presumably referring to when he uses his often-repeated but never defined phrase "radical Islamic terrorism" indicates that it is exclusively a phenomenon that is financed by the U.S. government's Sunni fundamentalist royal Arab 'allies' and their subordinates, and not at all by Iran or its allies or any Shiites at all. Each of the perpetrators was either funded by those royals, or else inspired by the organizations, such as Al Qaeda and ISIS, that those royals fund, and which are often also armed by U.S.-made weapons that were funded by those royals. In other words: the U.S. government is allied with the perpetrators.

Though U.S. President Donald Trump blames Shias, such as the leaders of Iran and of Syria, for what he calls "radical Islamic terrorism," and he favors sanctions etc. against them for that alleged reason, those Shia leaders and their countries are actually constantly being attacked by Islamic terrorists, and this terrorism is frequently perpetrated specifically in order to overthrow them (which the U.S. government supports even overtly, such as in the case of Bashar al-Assad). Furthermore, all of that terrorism and those attacks, not only against the U.S. and Iran but against all nations except for Israel, are perpetrated not by Shia such as the U.S. President alleges, but instead by fundamentalist Sunnis, and they are financed by the very same fundamentalist Sunni Arab leaders that President Trump calls America's allies against "radical Islamic terrorism."

Corbyn's success in UK elections deals massive blow to neocon regime change wars

Corbyn
Labour's massive advance in the British election under Jeremy Corbyn's leadership effectively ends British participation in the neocon project and regime change wars.

Ever since the neocons began to gain control of US foreign policy in the mid-1990s one country outside the US has been their staunchest supporter. That country is Britain, which has unswervingly followed neocon dictates in its foreign policy ever since Tony Blair was elected Prime Minister in 1997.

Britain has been party to every one of the neocon wars. It joined in the attacks on Yugoslavia in 1999, on Afghanistan in 2001, on Iraq in 2003, and on Libya in 2011. It has strongly supported and colluded in the campaign of subversion against President Assad of Syria, which is the reason for the Syrian war.

Comment: No doubt the British establishment will do everything they can to ensure that Corbyn's success does not hamper their crazy plans.

The Qatar/Gulf Crisis Explained

Qatar
© Reuters
In reality, like any other geopolitical bombshell there may be one specific incident that sparks the powder keg,... but there are a number of different factors that compel each of the players at the table to act for their own interests.

So what does a geopolitical bombshell look like, exactly? Well, something like what took place this past week in the Gulf. Namely:

Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (U.A.E.), Bahrain, Egypt, Mauritania, Yemen, and the Bayda-based so-called "eastern" government in Libya (and Maldives, don't forget Maldives!) all cut diplomatic ties with Qatar this week.

The governments of Saudi Arabia, the U.A.E., Egypt and Bahrain have ordered all Qatari citizens out of their respective countries within the next two weeks.

Qatar will pay John Ashcroft's law firm $2.5 million to defend against terrorism accusations

John Ashcroft

Who better to defend Qatar, a hotbed of terrorism-funding (as per a recent list released by Saudi Arabia et al according to which 59 individuals and 12 entities in Qatar are terrorist), than the US Attorney General who served during the September 11 attacks, John Ashcroft. At least that's what the government of Qatar is thinking, which hired the former US AG to defend the world's wealthiest (on a GDP/capita basis) nation from accusations by Donald Trump and Arab neighbors that it supports terrorism.

As a reminder, Ashcroft was U.S. attorney general under President George W. Bush from February 2001 to February 2005, years in which US policies and laws were reshaped by the so-called war on terrorism that followed the 2001 al Qaeda attacks. Under Ashcroft the US spawned the "Patriot Act", trampling over civil rights everywhere, and made pervasive spying on virtually everyone the norm, courtesy of the NSA.

Iran was always America's and thus ISIS's final target for regime change

Tehran
Several were left dead and many more injured after coordinated terror attacks on Iran's capital of Tehran. Shootings and bombings targeted Iran's parliament and the tomb of Ayatollah Khomeini.

According to Reuters, the so-called "Islamic State" claimed responsibility for the attack, which unfolded just days after another terror attack unfolded in London. The Islamic State also reportedly took responsibility for the violence in London, despite evidence emerging that the three suspects involved were long-known to British security and intelligence agencies and were simply allowed to plot and carry out their attacks.

It is much less likely that Tehran's government coddled terrorists - as it has been engaged for years in fighting terrorism both on its borders and in Syria amid a vicious six-year war fueled by US, European, and Persian Gulf weapons, cash, and fighters.

US's Machiavellian plot to provoke Saudi Arabia into a "blood border" war with Qatar

Qatar banned
Experts all across the world are trying to figure out what's really fueling the Qatari-Saudi Cold War, but the answer is simple - the US. As it's always prone to do, Washington is masterfully playing a game of divide and conquer in the Mideast, doing the same thing to its Gulf allies as it did to its North African ones during the theater-wide "Arab Spring" Color Revolutions, except this time pitting them against one another on a state-to-state level as opposed to an intra-state one between the government and some of its citizenry.

The long-term purpose behind all of this is to usher in Ralph Peters' 2006 "Blood Borders" blueprint for the "New Middle East", wherein the Gulf eventually undergoes a geopolitical reengineering just like "Syraq", Turkey, and the Balkans are slated to do as well. All in all, the fracturing of the region into a myriad of internationally recognized and de-facto statelets is expected to facilitate the prolongation of American hegemony in the broad interconnected space that the late Brzezinski described as the "Eurasian Balkans," while simultaneously creating major complications for its Russian and especially Chinese rivals' access to this geostrategic pivot space at the heart of Afro-Eurasia.

That's a lot to digest all at once, so let's break everything down piece by piece so that it's easier to understand.

Kommersant reports Russia may seize US diplomatic property if its own compounds not returned

© REUTERS/Joel SchectmanA convoy of diplomatic vehicles leave a Russian owned compound, after President Barack Obama abruptly ordered the compound closed on Thursday, in Centreville, Maryland, U.S., December 30, 2016.
Russia may seize U.S. diplomatic property in Moscow and complicate life for an Anglo-American school unless Washington hands back two diplomatic compounds in the United States before July, the daily Kommersant newspaper reported on Friday.

In December, then U.S. president Barack Obama ordered the expulsion of 35 Russians over what he said was their involvement in hacking last year's U.S. presidential election, allegations Moscow flatly denies.

The U.S. authorities seized two Russian diplomatic compounds, one in Maryland and another on Long Island, at the same time. Moscow did not retaliate, saying it would wait to see if relations improved under the incoming U.S. president, Donald Trump.
