'It's a law made for a single person': Israeli MPs to pass 'Netanyahu bill' banning police from publicizing corruption probe results

Israeli MPs have backed a law to prevent police from publishing recommendations on whether to charge criminal suspects, with those allowing leaks facing jail. Israeli PM Netanyahu, currently being investigated over graft, may be the main beneficiary.

The bill, which would curb the powers of police to consult with the federal attorney over pressing charges in individual cases, was passed by Israeli lawmakers in its first reading late Monday. The bill is expected to be streamlined through the parliament, the Knesset, by the ruling coalition, but it has been blasted by the opposition as being tailored to the needs of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, currently facing two separate corruption investigations.

"They made sure that this law would apply to the Netanyahu investigations," said Yair Lapid, leader of the opposition Yesh Atid party, as cited by The Times of Israel.

"It's a law made for a single person," he said.

Schoolchildren at the White House were reportedly in awe of First Lady Melania Trump as she greeted them during a ceremony for the unveiling of Christmas decorations that she helped design.

"She looks like an angel," one child reportedly said as Melania was embraced by a handful of schoolchildren when she emerged in the White House wearing a caped Christian Dior dress and a thin, gold belt to accent her small waist.

"She seriously looks like an angel," one of the children said as they greeted Melania.

Proving just how petty they are, many in the media and "never-Trump" sphere are ignoring all the beautiful decorations and trying to convince themselves and anyone who will listen that one room's decor is straight out of a horror movie:

Typical media selectively reporting in order to bash. Take a look at the second photo in the article above. Horrifying, no?

Giving perverts a free pass: Faux feminist Nancy Pelosi has been enabling predators for decades

Nancy Pelosi

As Guy has thoroughly exposed, over the weekend House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi defended Congressman John Conyers as an "icon" amid allegations he fired a woman on his staff after she refused to give him sexual favors.

Over at Vox, Pelosi is being called out as the ultimate enabler of sexual harassers and abusers. "That woman." She'll also being held accountable as part of the reason why women don't come forward more often when they are victims of sexual misconduct.

Comment: Nancy is now all in favor of shining a light on sexual predators...as long as they aren't Democrats!

Obama intel whistleblower says Clinton allies were 'out to get him' over email investigation

General Charles McCullough III
Former Intelligence Community Inspector General Charles McCullough III.
A government watchdog who played a central role in the Hillary Clinton email investigation during the Obama administration told Fox News that he, his family and his staffers faced an intense backlash at the time from Clinton allies - and that the campaign even put out word that it planned to fire him if the Democratic presidential nominee won the 2016 election.

"There was personal blowback. Personal blowback to me, to my family, to my office," former Intelligence Community Inspector General Charles McCullough III said.

The Obama appointee discussed his role in the Clinton email probe for the first time on television, during an exclusive interview with Fox News aired on "Tucker Carlson Tonight." McCullough - who came to the inspector general position with more than two decades of experience at the FBI, Treasury and intelligence community - shed light on how quickly the probe was politicized and his office was marginalized by Democrats.

In January 2016, after McCullough told the Republican leadership on the Senate intelligence and foreign affairs committees that emails beyond the "Top Secret" level passed through the former secretary of state's unsecured personal server, the backlash intensified.

Ex-inspector general: Blowback came from Clinton allies: Former federal intel watchdog Charles McCullough says Hillary's allies threatened retribution when he raised concerns about classified info on Clinton's private email server. #Tucker

Good riddance: Keith Olbermann calls it quits, decides to retire from all political commentary

keith olbermann
Desperately needs help.
GQ special correspondent Keith Olbermann announced on Monday that he is "retiring from political commentary in all media venues" near the end of the latest episode of "The Resistance" video series.

Olbermann, an outspoken critic of President Donald Trump and former MSNBC host, opened Monday's episode by announcing that it would be the last of his video series.

He tweeted that Trump is an "ex-president waiting to happen" and told political followers on Twitter not to take it personally when he unfollows them on Twitter.

Comment: Olbermann lost his grip on reality long ago. It's sad, but on the other hand heartening to see that rags like GQ are diverse and inclusive enough to offer job opportunities for the severely mentally ill. On the other hand, it's a fairly disturbing exploitation of the mentally ill: after all, Olbermann is just an excuse for viewers to laugh at him.

WaPo catches woman making false accusations against Roy Moore in suspected Project Veritas sting operation

The Washington Post has caught a woman who falsely claimed Republican Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore impregnated her as a teenager while working with Project Veritas.

The Post interviewed 41-year-old Jamie T. Phillips, the woman in question, over a period of two weeks. She claimed she and Moore had a sexual relationship in 1992 when she was 15. Phillips told reporters that Moore got her pregnant and she subsequently got an abortion.

She also alleges that Moore drover her to Mississippi to terminate the pregnancy.

Phillips also reportedly asked on a number of occasions how her testimony would affect Moore in the Alabama special Senate election, that is scheduled to take place on Dec. 12. The Post did not publish Phillips' testimony and reportedly asked her repeatedly what her motivation was for bringing forth the allegations.

Phillips allegedly wanted a guarantee that Moore would lose the election if she came forward.

Comment: Project Veritas founder James O'Keefe tweeted footage of WaPo reporter Aaron Davis attempting to ambush the group's video release on the paper. Text reading "They're worried we have a story on them...We do," appears at the end of the video:

Ron Paul: If North Korea is a "state sponsor of terrorism", U.S. and Saudi Arabia are even worse

Kim Jong Un
© KCNA / ReutersNorth Korean leader Kim Jong Un
President Trump announced last week that he was returning North Korea to the US list of "state sponsors of terrorism" after having been off the list for the past nine years. Americans may wonder what dramatic event led the US president to re-designate North Korea as a terrorism-sponsoring nation. Has Pyongyang been found guilty of some spectacular terrorist attack overseas or perhaps of plotting to overthrow another country by force? No, that is not the case. North Korea is back on the US list of state sponsors of terrorism because President Trump thinks the move will convince the government to give up its nuclear weapons and ballistic missile program. He believes that continuing down the path toward confrontation with North Korea will lead the country to capitulate to Washington's demands. That will not happen.

President Trump and Secretary of State Rex Tillerson argued that North Korea deserved to be back on the list because the North Korean government is reported to have assassinated a North Korean citizen - Kim Jong-Un's own half-brother -- in February at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport. But what does that say about Washington's own program to assassinate US citizens like Anwar al-Awlaki and his 16 year old son under Obama, and later Awlaki's six year old daughter under Trump? Like Kim's half brother, Awlaki and his two children were never tried or convicted of a crime before being killed by their own government.

The neocons, who are pushing for a war with North Korea, are extremely pleased by Trump's move. John Bolton called it "exactly the right thing to do."

Comment: Bolton agreeing with you is the first sign you're wrong.

Race-obsessed CNN commentator says Dems are only being "tougher" on Conyers because he's black

angela rye
CNN's Angela Rye suggested Monday that Democrats are being tougher on Rep. John Conyers than Sen. Al Franken because Conyers is black.

WATCH:

Many Democrats have been reluctant to call for either Franken or Conyers to resign over sexual harassment allegations, but Conyers has stepped aside as the ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee pending an investigation into his alleged actions. Conyers settled with one woman in 2015 after she claimed that he fired her for refusing his sexual advances.

Rye, who previously served as the executive director of the Congressional Black Caucus, argued during a CNN interview that Conyers is being treated more harshly than Franken because he is an African American. She even seemed to claim that the allegations could be political hit job on Conyers.

"What I will tell you as the former CBC's executive director is that far too often, our members who are the most senior ranking, our members that have the most desired position in the House, get targeted in very strange ways," Rye ranted.

Comment: And maybe Roy Moore was targeted because he's white? What do you call a person who constantly obsesses over the color of a person's skin, ascribing all society's ills to those various colors, and thinks the reason for everything comes down to skin color? Take a wild guess.

US stock market has 70 percent chance of crashing very soon investors advised

The risk of a large-scale correction in US stocks is on the rise, say researchers from Vanguard Group. They warn the probability is 30 percent higher than what has been typical over the past sixty years.

Vanguard's chief economist Joe Davis said investors do need to be prepared for a significant downturn which is now a 70 percent chance.

"It's about having reasonable expectations," Davis said. "Having a ten percent negative return in the US market in a calendar year has happened 40 percent of the time since 1960. That goes with the territory of being a stock investor."
