Negotiators have met again as fighting in Ukraine continues. Although agreements have been made for humanitarian corridors to allow for the evacuation of civilians, those plans so far have faltered.

Negotiators from Ukraine and Russia convened for a third round of talks on Monday, with the Ukrainian delegation saying there was potential progress on ensuring humanitarian corridors.

Although an overall deal has not been reached, Ukraine's lead negotiator, Mykhailo Podolyak, said on Twitter after the talks that "there were some small positive shifts regarding logistics of humanitarian corridors."

Comment: More meetings scheduled:
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will meet his Ukrainian counterpart, Dmytro Kuleba on the sidelines of a diplomatic forum in Antalya on Thursday, the Russian Foreign Ministry confirmed on Monday.

The meeting will be held at the initiative of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan as part of an agreement he reached with Russian leader Vladimir Putin in a phone call, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told TASS. Earlier on Monday, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu confirmed the development as well.
"We will hold this meeting in a tripartite format in Antalya on Thursday, March 10."
The top diplomat also expressed hope that this will be "a turning point" and an "important step" towards peace and stability.
The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry's spokesman, Oleg Nikolenko, told UNIAN news agency that a "possible meeting" in Antalya is "in the works."

US embassy removes all evidence of Ukraine bioweapons labs

bioweapon montage
Just two days after GreatGameIndia reported that secret US Biolabs in Ukraine could be a targeted by Russians, now the US Embassy has removed all evidence of bioweapons labs in Ukraine from their website.

As Russia begins to assault military sites in Ukraine, there is suspicion that the US Biolabs, which were built in Ukraine for the purpose of research and defense, would be targeted as well.

As GreatGameIndia reported, under the "Biological Threat Reduction Program," the US has six such facilities in Ukraine. This has led to several people wondering if Russia is actually targeting the secret US bioweapons labs in Ukraine.

Now, the official US embassy website has removed all evidence of bio-labs in Ukraine. These bio-labs are funded and jointly operated by the US Department of Defense (DOD). These documents include important construction, financing and permit details for bioweapon laboratories in Ukraine. But now the US government is scrubbing these documents from the internet and becoming less transparent with this critical information.

This comes at a time when the world population is waking up to the reality of gain-of-function bioweapons research, lab leaks and predatory vaccine and diagnostics development. These bio-labs generate pathogens of pandemic potential that exploit human immune systems and are the foundation on which medical fraud, malpractice, vaccine-induced death and genocide originates.

Federal government paid media companies to advertise COVID-19 vaccines; in turn provided positive vaccine coverage

In response to a FOIA request filed by TheBlaze, HHS revealed that it purchased advertising from major news networks including ABC, CBS, and NBC, as well as cable TV news stations Fox News, CNN, and MSNBC, legacy media publications including the New York Post, the Los Angeles Times, and the Washington Post, digital media companies like BuzzFeed News and Newsmax, and hundreds of local newspapers and TV stations. These outlets were collectively responsible for publishing countless articles and video segments regarding the vaccine that were nearly uniformly positive about the vaccine in terms of both its efficacy and safety.

Hundreds of news organizations were paid by the federal government to advertise for the vaccines as part of a "comprehensive media campaign," according to documents TheBlaze obtained from the Department of Health and Human Services. The Biden administration purchased ads on TV, radio, in print, and on social media to build vaccine confidence, timing this effort with the increasing availability of the vaccines. The government also relied on earned media featuring "influencers" from "communities hit hard by COVID-19" and "experts" like White House chief medical adviser Dr. Anthony Fauci and other academics to be interviewed and promote vaccination in the news.

The Defense Ministry's warning comes as Kiev accuses Russia of shelling a nuclear research facility in Kharkov.

Ukraine's domestic security service, the SBU, allegedly conspired with Azov Battalion fighters to stage a false flag attack in Kharkov, the Ministry of Defense in Moscow claimed on Sunday night. According to the ministry, the ultranationalist militants allegedly rigged a small experimental nuclear reactor at the Institute of Physics and Technology (KIPT) with explosives.
"The SBU and the militants of the Azov Battalion are planning to blow up the reactor and accuse the Russian Armed Forces of allegedly launching a missile attack on the experimental nuclear facility."
The ministry warned of the risk of radioactive contamination of the area should such a false flag incident take place.

Russia 'too big' to isolate, Kremlin claims

Peskov

Putin's spokesperson says many countries have a more "balanced" approach than the EU and the US

Western sanctions do not mean that Russia will truly be isolated - the world, and Russia itself, are "too big" for that, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told the media on Saturday.

Peskov said that the "rejection of relations" following its offensive in Ukraine, and the introduction of restrictions by Europe, the US, Canada, Japan, and others "do not mean the isolation of Russia."

Russia's military attack on Ukraine, launched on February 24, prompted the US, the EU, the UK and many other nations to introduce harsh sanctions targeting various sectors of the Russian economy. Peskov said:
"The world is too big for Europe and America to isolate any country, especially one as big as Russia. And in the world, as you know, there are many more countries that have a much more balanced, sometimes more reasonable attitude towards the dynamics of the development of international relations."
Expressing the hope that Moscow's Western partners would change their "overly emotional" position, President Vladimir Putin's spokesman pledged that Russia would make an "appropriate" response to the "economic banditry."

Day 11 of Russian incursion into Ukraine: Encirclement of Kiev forces in Donetsk, operational pause in north

The eleventh day of the conflict were marked by a new round of efforts by Russia, the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics to evacuate civilians from Mariupol, Volnovakha and their surroundings in Donetsk Region.

Mariupol and Volnovakha remain the key strongholds of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in this region, Mariupol is fully surrounded by units of the Russian Armed Forces and people's militia of Donbas, while Volnovakha remains blocked from the south, east and west. The northern route from Volnovakha remains under fire control of Russian forces.

On March 5, Russia already announced a one day ceasefire regime allowing local residents to withdraw via humanitarian corridors agreed with the Kyiv side during the second round of talks in Belarus. Nonetheless, the evacuation via the opened route Mariupol-Nikolskoye-Rozovka-Polohy-Orekhov-Zaporizhzhya was sabotaged by Kyiv. Units of the Ukrainian Army and nationalist battalions did not allow civilians to leave the combat zone. Representatives of the Kyiv administration in the region denied the evacuation under pretext of alleged ceasefire violations by the Russians. At the same time, Ukrainian forces opened fire at civilians that tried to leave Mariupol and Volonvakha towards the territory controlled by Russia and the DPR. In the evening, when the ceasefire time ended, clashes in the area resumed.

Oh, the irony! Trudeau says countries 'turning towards slightly more authoritarian leaders' just days after authoritarian crackdown on truckers

justin trudeau
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau contradicted himself Friday, when he gave a speech at the Ukrainian community of Etobicoke, Ontario. In his speech, Trudeau lambasted the new trend of authoritarian governments rising up.

The Prime Minister discussed the "slippage" in our democracies, while seemingly unwilling to discuss his own authoritarian crackdown on pro-freedom Canadian truckers — an inquisition against his own people, pursued with an unprecedented activation of the Emergencies Act on the freedom protesters.

"We've come to a moment that quite frankly, we've seen coming over the past years," Trudeau told the Ukrainian community in Etobicoke.

"We've talked about it in in the news, not just about Ukraine, but about democracies around the world that we see a bit of a slippage in our democracies," he continued while speaking at the Etobicoke church.

PJSC said it's looking at the possibility of issuing cards using Russian payments system Mir and China's UnionPay after Visa Inc. and Mastercard Inc. suspended operations following the invasion of Ukraine.

The move could allow Russians to make some payments overseas, with UnionPay operating in 180 countries and regions. Visa and Mastercard said that any transactions initiated with their cards issued in Russia will no longer work outside the country from March 10.

Cards issued by domestic banks will continue to work in Russia using its payment system. Russia's biggest lender, Sberbank, said it would announce timescales later.

Visa and Mastercard have joined the list of international companies suspending activities in Russia in response to President Vladimir Putin's invasion of Ukraine. The move further isolates Russia's economy. Cards issued outside of Russia won't work at ATMs or merchants inside the country, the firms said.

Comment: As the Kremlin has already stated, ultimately, it's not possible to isolate Russia. Those that go along with the West's embargo who will struggle to find alternative sources of desperately needed commodities, such as oil, wheat, and gas - bearing in mind Europe relies on Russia for upwards of 50% of its gas - meanwhile Russia can easily find other customers for its highly sought after goods.

Comment: As with the commodities, it's the Western institutions that will be losing out on these transactions - both in terms of profit and the information they can glean from them - and, once the alternative is up and running, any country threatened with US sanctions will have the option to switch over from the compromised and corrupt providers in the West:

Why is the West silent about Ukrainian neo-Nazi movements, Azov Battalion, & the Bandera legacy?

French President Emmanuel Macron claimed in his Wednesday address to the nation that Russia's special operation to demilitarise and "de-Nazify" Ukraine is "not a fight against Nazism", thus joining the chorus of political leaders and media outlets in the West who downplay or altogether deny the problem of Ukrainian ultra-nationalism.

Ukraine's ultra-nationalist and neo-Nazi battalions made headlines after the 2014 February coup d'etat in the country only to be largely overlooked and downplayed in the ensuing years by the mainstream media.

"Far-right, anti-Semitic, anti-Russian, and openly fascist groups have existed and do exist as a blight on modern Ukraine", CNN wrote in March 2014. It quoted a 2012 European Parliament resolution raising 18 points of concern over policies embedded in the laws of the nation's parliament, and denounced "the rising nationalistic sentiment in Ukraine".

Kiev must cease fighting and fulfill all of Moscow's demands in order for the Russian invasion of Ukraine to stop, President Vladimir Putin told Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Sunday.

Moscow's 'special operation' in the neighboring country "will come to a halt only if Kiev stops its military action and fulfills the demands of Russia, which are well known," Putin explained during the phone call, according to the Kremlin's press service.

The president assured Erdogan that Russia is ready for dialogue with the Ukrainian side, as well as with foreign partners, in order to find a peaceful solution to the conflict.
