Dramatic order given to Jewish Agency by government officials in Moscow - Israeli government considering next steps.

The Russian government has ordered the Jewish Agency to cease all operations inside the country, The Jerusalem Post has learned.

The order was given in a letter received from the Russian Justice Ministry earlier this week. Officials in the Jewish Agency confirmed that the letter was received. They would not comment, however, on the response that is currently under consideration in the organization's offices in Jerusalem in consultation with the Foreign Ministry and the Prime Minister's Office.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has accused Kiev of using Western weapons to conduct acts of "state terror."

The West should be aware of its responsibility for the deaths of civilians in both Donbass and Ukraine, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Wednesday.

During a press briefing in Vietnam, Lavrov was asked to comment on Kiev's allegations that Russian forces are shelling their own cities to disrupt the supplies of Western weapons to Ukraine.

Top Ukrainian official reveals help from Western spies

Ukraine's air defense forces have reason to thank the intelligence that the West is sharing with Kiev, a top official has hinted.

Appearing on a livestream hosted by blogger Mark Feygin on Tuesday, Alexey Arestovich, a key adviser to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, said that the Russian military had fired seven missiles at Dnepropetrovsk, with Ukrainian air defenses managing to intercept six of them.

Comment: Maybe, maybe not. Ukraine has been caught repeatedly lying in a failing attempt to conceal the fact that they've lost, and it's likely that if Russia wanted to penetrate Ukraine's defenses, it could do so rather easily,

"Three [missiles] were flying toward Ochakov - all three were shot down," the official added.

When asked whether Western air defense systems were on the ground, Arestovich replied that "there were just various timely target designations and so on."

Comment: As noted above, this follows admissions from numerous legacy media outlets that the West is directly involved: US & EU special forces and the CIA ARE on the ground in Ukraine after all - Coordinating Ukraine's weapons, training, and 'attack app'

Rogue Cops: The Supreme Court is turning America into a constitution-free zone

"No one should get used to their rights. Predicting with certainty which ones, if any, will go, or when, is impossible." — Mary R. Ziegler, legal historian
The Supreme Court has spoken: There will be no consequences for cops who brutalize the citizenry and no justice for the victims of police brutality.

Although the Court's 2021-22 rulings on qualified immunity for police who engage in official misconduct were largely overshadowed by its politically polarizing rulings on abortion, gun ownership and religion, they were no less devastating.

The doctrine of qualified immunity was intended to insulate government officials from frivolous lawsuits, but the real purpose of qualified immunity is to ensure that government officials are not held accountable for official misconduct.

A member of Iran's parliament has confirmed that explosions that occurred last week at an Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) base in Tehran were sabotage.

A video published on social media showed at least two explosions inside the Malik Ashtar base compound in the southeast of Tehran. At the same time, the official website of the Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO) published the news of the explosions at 9:15 p.m. on July 1.

Esmail Kosari, a member of parliament and former IRGC commander, confirmed on July 5 that the explosions occurred in the IRGC base. Kosari did not mention any casualties from the two explosions and played down the incident.

France sees nuclear energy output plummet at the worst possible moment

Nuclear power plant

France has long been one of the world's greatest champions of nuclear energy. France leads the European Union in nuclear production, with the most productive reactors in the bloc, and relies on nuclear power for a larger share of its energy mix than any other country in the world. It makes sense that France should lead the charge for nuclear energy development as they have long been the global poster child for safe and reliable nuclear energy - until now.

A recent flurry of unexpected issues at the Électricité de France (EDF), the state nuclear power operator representing the largest nuclear fleet in Europe, has caused French nuclear energy output to tumble to its lowest levels in 30 years. Around half of the EDF's massive nuclear fleet has been taken offline, delivering a massive blow to the EU's energy independence and security in the midst of a worldwide energy crisis.

Reality bites: EU pressures Germany to keep nuclear online as govt popularity falls

A senior EU commissioner has once again told Germany to delay shutting down its nuclear power stations as the climate-crazy government sees its popularity fade.

Germany has been warned by a senior official within the EU that it should delay shutting down its nuclear power stations in order to better cushion the ongoing energy crisis, despite the country's leftist government insisting that the last three facilities be decommissioned by the end of the year as planned.

The EU demand comes as the climate-crazy coalition sees its popularity plummet, the general population seemingly unhappy with the government's efforts to stave off the ongoing energy crisis threatening to plunge Germany into a deep economic recession.

Comment: The lunatic German Left has finally run up against the reality that people are not willing to to go into poverty and businesses are not willing to fail, in order to "save the planet".

Scott Ritter: Nato summit fails to impress

nato summit madrid 2022
The NATO summit in Madrid, Spain, June 29, 2022
The Nato summit that convened in Madrid, Spain, last week was designed to provide a global stage for the alliance to tout its continued viability by welcoming in two new members, Sweden and Finland, flexing its military muscle and expanding its strategic reach into the Pacific. The reality is that Nato failed to produce meaningful results on all three counts.

Acting on a decision made during the annual Nato summit in Madrid last week, the ambassadors and permanent representatives of the 30 nations that comprise the trans-Atlantic military alliance signed off on the accession protocols for Sweden and Finland on Jul. 5. "This is a truly historic moment for Finland, for Sweden and for Nato," the organization's secretary-general, Jens Stoltenberg, said afterward.

The next step in the process is for the membership application to be ratified by the national legislations of each member nation. Herein lies the rub. While Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan may have paved the path toward the conclusion of the accession protocols for Nato membership, by signing a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on Jun. 28 in Madrid, the devil is in the details. Part of the 10-point agreement contained in the memorandum is a Turkish demand that Sweden and Finland immediately extradite 33 Kurdish militants and members of the Gulen movement accused by Turkey of orchestrating a failed 2016 coup against Erdogan — 21 from Sweden and 12 from Finland — where they would be tried as terrorists.

Crime and Punishment: Government officials must be held accountable

Government Accountability
Quite likely a majority of Americans would agree that it is wrong for the government or police to torture someone, though some would surely accept the "ticking time bomb" exemption, where a detainee is withholding information that could save many lives. It is in fact illegal to torture someone as well as it being morally wrong. Indeed, it could constitute a crime against humanity or a war crime depending on circumstances. The United States, which has signed the United Nations Convention Against Torture and is bound by it, has thereby accepted legal sanctions to back up the view that torture is never permissible. Under US law, torture committed by "government officials and their collaborators upon a person restrained by the government is a felony punishable by up to 20 years in federal prison, and its fruits are inadmissible in all courts." Given that background, one is astonished to learn that some in the government have not taken the obligation seriously. To be sure, the US has been quick to react when lower ranking officials, contractors and ordinary soldiers have reportedly been involved in torturing prisoners, as occurred with Abu Ghraib prior to 2004, but the higher one goes up the ladder of power the less do laws apply to even the most egregious misbehavior.

Washington plunges the world into total chaos

American dream is over
Today, politicians and common people in all countries expressly say that the United States is losing its influence on the global stage. Even The Washington Times, by publishing the results of the new survey conducted by Pew Research Center, acknowledges that the prevailing opinion among the US nationals is that America is definitely a loser in the race with "growing" China. Many American and Western media outlets desperately acknowledge the USA's clear failure in its sanctions policy forced upon Russia and the whole world, as it has only strengthened the Kremlin's global weight and brought the wreckage of the American and the Western economy as a whole.

The sanctions policy dictated by Washington in respect of energy supplies from Russia resulted in an unprecedented growth of their global prices, drastically increasing the prices for these goods and electricity in the USA and the whole world. The cost of the electricity required to maintain the work of economic facilities has more than thrice exceeded the historical average value for a very short period even in the USA. As a result, enterprises are forced to shut down all over the country. Thus, for example, Century Aluminum, the largest military class aluminum manufacturer in North America, suspended the work of its smelting plant in Kentucky on June 27. The company's forecast is that the plant might stay idle for up to one year, waiting for the energy prices to return to a lower level. As Bild wrote on June 28, with reference to the research made by the Bavarian Economy Association (BEA), termination of supply of Russian gas will result in Germany's GDP decreasing by 12.5% and in cutting 5.6 million jobs.
