Ponerization: Pentagon defends LGBTQ priorities

Annual Pride Month

US Department of Defense officials have decried new laws in various states that push back against LGBTQ activism - such as bans on sex-change surgeries for children - arguing that the legislation could undermine the readiness of America's military.

Comment: This is clown world on cross-sex steroids.

"LGBTQ+ and other diverse communities are under attack just because they are different - hate for hate's sake," chief DOD diversity officer Gil Cisneros said on Wednesday at a Pentagon event celebrating Pride Month. "But we must stick together, and we must be prepared to confront any such challenge directly."

Comment: And this is pure, pathological projection. A deviant minority of activists in facts hates normality, and is trying to reform humanity in its image. They frame any pushback from normal people as "hate."

Cisneros was referring to bills passed or proposed in more than a dozen Republican-controlled states on LGBTQ-related issues. Some US states have outlawed giving hormone blockers or sex-change surgeries to minors and prohibited schools from counseling children on gender identity without parental consent. Florida has banned classroom instruction on gender identity and sexual orientation, targeting curriculums that Governor Ron DeSantis has condemned as "indoctrination."

Jacinda Ardern awarded damehood for handling of the pandemic - As excess deaths continue to mount and media censorship intensifies

ardern
New Zealand's Government has awarded 'damehood' - the second-highest honour in the country - to its former Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern.

The award was given for "leading the country through the Covid pandemic".

Who gave Jacinda this high honour? Her new Prime Minister, Chris Hipkins. Mr. Hipkins was Jacinda's Minister for the COVID-19 Response, so by giving her the highest honour for handling the pandemic, he also implicitly 'honoured' himself.

Jacinda did some very unusual things during the pandemic. Her Government forbade New Zealand citizens from returning to their own country. She also supported a "two-tier society", basically robbing unvaccinated New Zealanders of their constitutional rights and laughing about it:

How is heavily vaccinated New Zealand doing? Take a look at the Human Mortality database. In 2023, New Zealanders are dying at a rate around 25% above average.

Biden admin is waging a 'class war' against working Americans

US President Joe Biden's economic policies have further enriched financial elites at the expense of working class Americans, Prof. Michael Hudson, US economist and former Wall Street analyst, told Sputnik's New Rules podcast.

Biden struck a debt ceiling deal with House Speaker Kevin McCarthy with a great deal of fanfare late last month following Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen's apocalyptic prognoses with regard to a US "imminent" default. According to Hudson, however, these dramatic warnings were meant to obfuscate the Biden administration's real objectives.

"There was never any debt crisis at all," Hudson told Sputnik. "The government could have simply continued to pay its bills for projects that Congress had already approved, there is no way that the government was going to default on its Treasury debt because, after all, the Treasury debt is held by the wealthiest 10% and the government is not going to do anything that hurts the 10% and benefits the 90%."

The Washington Post has claimed the leader was deliberately kept in the dark about an alleged plot by the Ukrainian military

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has claimed he had no knowledge of an alleged plot by his government to blow up the Nord Stream gas pipelines. The plan was reportedly uncovered by a European nation, which subsequently informed Washington.

"I am president and I give orders accordingly," Zelensky said, as cited by Politico on Thursday. "Nothing of the sort has been done by Ukraine. I would never act that way."

Comment: "I did not have sexual relations with that woman."

On the other hand, it probably isn't hard to keep a coked-up, has-been comedian out of the loop. It is plausible that the most deranged faction in the Ukraine government, decided to implement the plan, which had been hatched nearly a year previously, on its own, A most public confession

Mass immigration doesn't work in Sweden, says Prime Minister

Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson
Kristersson had previously vowed to overturn decades of bad immigration policy by the Swedish Social Democrats as he called for a revamp of Swedish integration and asylum policies to become the strictest in Europe.
Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson publicly denounced his country's poor management of immigration this week in a landmark opinion piece for the Swedish daily newspaper Aftonbladet.

The article is just the latest sign of a political volte face in the Scandinavian country's infamous immigration outlook, but one that makes sense with respect to Kristersson's Moderate Party's electoral pact with the right-wing Sweden Democrats, in place since 2022.

In an article titled "Three Things are Required to Put Sweden Back Together," Kristersson lays out a radical reform to his nation's immigration policies outlining his wish to see Swedish migration policy become the strictest in Europe.

Comment: It will take a lot of work to undo the damage a decade of weaponised mass migration has inflicted on the social fabric of European societies: Also check out SOTT radio's: The Truth Perspective: Weapons of Mass Migration: Interview with Michael Springmann on Europe's Migrant Crisis

Kiev's long term plans to blow up the Kakhovka Dam

I had some discussion with Andrew about this article, since the December 2022 WaPo article he refers to was not the first time Kiev's plans to blow up the dam were mentioned. There was this, for instance, 2 months earlier. Then again, Andrew is right in saying that the WaPo piece is the first where people other than Zelensky mention it. And we agree that now blaming the attack on Russia is really out of left field. Those darn Russkies keep on aiming for their own feet. And that's the only thing(s) they can hit.
- Raúl Ilargi Meijer
Andrew Korybko:

The partial destruction of the Kakhovka Dam on early Tuesday morning saw Kiev and Moscow exchange accusations about who's to blame, but a report from the Washington Post (WaPo) in late December extends credence to the Kremlin's version of events. Titled "Inside the Ukrainian counteroffensive that shocked Putin and reshaped the war", its journalists quoted former commander of November's Kherson Counteroffensive Major General Andrey Kovalchuk who shockingly admitted to planning this war crime:
"Kovalchuk considered flooding the river. The Ukrainians, he said, even conducted a test strike with a HIMARS launcher on one of the floodgates at the Nova Kakhovka dam, making three holes in the metal to see if the Dnieper's water could be raised enough to stymie Russian crossings but not flood nearby villages. The test was a success, Kovalchuk said, but the step remained a last resort. He held off."

FBI harbored Biden allegations since 2017, through impeachment, election, lawmaker says

J/HBiden
If House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer's sleuthing turns out to be right, the FBI harbored a deep, dark secret through the first Trump impeachment, the Hunter Biden laptop saga and the 2020 election fury. The secret: that a validated and well-paid informant raised concerns all the way back in 2017 that Joe Biden was involved in a $5 million bribery scheme involving Ukraine.

The question emerging now is did America's most famous crime-fighting agency deep-six the allegation or dismiss it as "Russian disinformation" without thoroughly probing it?

Comer made the bombshell revelation Tuesday night in an interview with Just the News, just a day after reviewing an FBI FD-1023 form that memorialized the informant's allegations, and two days before he plans to hold a vote in Congress to hold FBI Director Christopher Wray in contempt for failing to provide a copy to his committee as demanded by a subpoena.

He said the version of the informant report he was allowed to review by Wray had about 10% of information redacted and made clear the allegations were first reported to the Federal Bureau of Investigations back in 2017 as Donald Trump was beginning his term as president.

Bragg detective involved in Trump 'hush money' case suspended for Michael Cohen ties

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg's case against former President Donald Trump heated up again this week.

Law enforcement sources revealed a "supervising detective" assisting Bragg's case against Trump has been suspended for his contact with Michael Cohen, who previously served as Trump's lawyer and has become adversarial to the 45th president.

New York Post reported:
"Jeremy Rosenberg, who investigates financial crimes for Bragg, had his gun removed recently for his interactions with Cohen, the sources claimed. A law enforcement source said Bragg's office is looking at how Rosenberg shared communications about Cohen with the office. Rosenberg also assisted in the prosecution of Steve Bannon in the alleged $15 million border-wall fundraising scam, for which Trump pardoned him. He did not return a call for comment.

"The office is conducting a review of an investigator's compliance with internal office protocols." a Bragg spokeswoman said.

Comment: Some surprises from Trump adversaries: In agreement on Bragg suspension.

Musk: Twitter to publish all government censorship requests

The announcement appears to be a swing at the EU's new anti-disinformation efforts, as well as a bid to clear Musk's name after a backlash over an increased compliance rate with removal requests.

Showing that transparency is a two-way street, Elon Musk announced that Twitter will publish government censorship requests, including calls for deleting tweets or banning accounts based on claims of alleged disinformation, the German daily Exxpress reported on Sunday, June 4th.

Although not explicitly, the move seems like a direct response to Brussels growing appetite to regulate online content, specifically by getting most social media giants to sign up for its Code of Practice on Disinformation — a set of voluntary commitments to the EU's anti-disinformation efforts that Musk's Twitter just left late last month.

Trump stated that all the other major social media companies, including Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram — which do cooperate with the EU's regulatory framework under the Code of Practice — constantly engage in censorship on behalf of governments.
"We're going to publish all government censorship requests and whether or not we complied with them. To the best of my knowledge, [Twitter] does the least amount of censorship."

The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement on 5 June praising the plan for forming a joint Iranian and Gulf-led naval force.

"[China] welcomes the formation of a joint maritime alliance with the presence of Iran, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and others," ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin said.

"Such an alliance will enhance security and stability in the region," the Chinese official added.
