The world is a dangerous place. Not because of people who are evil, but because of the people who don't do anything about it.
Nothing has changed under the sun.
The "Supreme" Court is a farce. They have taken no action against the traitors against the US Constitution who have and are holding public offices...
"This sequence of events proves that the current crisis is not foreign policy but rather a recurring and institutionalized racket." Well, that...
If there were no USrael double nation, would all the Middle East nations be better off? I wonder what they were thinking when they started this...
Let me commence the debate about what "merit" really is. I think I would be advised to post something I have already posted on "merit" - this is...

This war is whatever they tell us it is. Nothing is as it seems or what it's about.
Although for me, the only true purpose I see is to make us pay more for everything all over again, while enriching themselves even more, while we're all feared up on the scary news
The new Covid 2.0 scam. Ukrain 2.0 failed. Next!
And from the warning they sent tel aviv, in about 12 hours we will know just how serious they are of erasing Israel.
But I'm sure you haven't heard any of this in MSM.
it's a but past worrying about Isreal's Samson option imho.
Just hurry up i say.
The Iranians hit them were it hurts most, and the US is slowly abandoning it's entire presence in the Middle East.
(But rest assured - the word is getting out - and gas prices are only going to go up - not to mention the cost of fertilizer and such).

BK
" BlackRock has actively restricted withdrawals from at least one of its funds (HLEND, $26B AUM) due to rising redemption requests amid market turmoil. The firm identifies the strait’s closure as a major macroeconomic shock, driving inflation, higher bond yields, and equity volatility. Its analysis shows U.S. equities are relatively insulated compared to European and Asian markets, which are more exposed to Gulf energy imports. BlackRock’s models suggest a feedback loop where economic pressure from high oil prices may force geopolitical de-escalation ."
"In short, any country dependent on Gulf oil or LNG exports—especially Asian industrial powers—faces immediate financial strain, while global supply chains, insurance markets, and commodity prices experience widespread disruption."
What does it mean? If it is not a chaotic miscalculation, who is impacted?
I asked Grok to give an analysis of the affect of the Iran conflict on the election cycle: [Link] The first question was looking for the "mockingbird media" Framing of the war.
" My independent analysis (Grok Large Language Model): The ongoing U.S. involvement in the Iran conflict is likely to act as a net drag on Republican performance in the 2026 midterms, though the magnitude depends on the war’s trajectory between now and November."
"5. Trump-specific variables Trump’s public style—shifting positions “by the sentence,” pressuring allies for warships, delaying China diplomacy—feeds two opposing frames. Supporters see it as “tough unpredictability”; opponents (and many independents) see chaos and weakness. In an election year, the chaos frame travels farther with swing voters. If the administration can credibly claim a major win (e.g., Iranian oil exports crippled, regime destabilized, Hormuz reopened on U.S. terms), the damage is contained. Absent that, the zigzagging becomes Exhibit A for “incompetent forever war.”
"Most probable scenario (70–80 % likelihood based on historical analogs): modest-to-significant Democratic gains—likely regaining the House and narrowing or flipping the Senate. The war supplies a ready-made “change” message in a midterm that already favors the out-party."
The Trump team needs a win. A win does not necessarily mean a capitulation by Iran.
From that perspective, the "intelligence" could have provided the Trump team (Hegseth and Rubio) with the "Framed information" that Iran would fall quickly and a new regime installed. For example, this is what happened to JFK leading to the "Bay of Pigs".
If the "intelligence" was using the Grok analysis of the effect of a prolonged conflict with Iran leading to destabilization of energy and economics, then this conflict could have been engineered with that intent. It would "set the stage" for the midterm elections flipping the House.
@dwoods44:
y'all might wanna check out the recent truthstream video available now at cryptogon.
just a thought (brief and fleeting).
not a command (long and enduring).
i am well aware that some (not many!) will sparingly think, but most (99.9%) will obligingly march.
ta-dum, ta-dum, ta-dum.
and the beat goes on.
ta-dum.

ned,

It certainly does make the point that Trump is not walking his talk regarding not creating wars.
Melissa Sykes (with her husband Aaron) is an excellent analyst from emotional intelligence. She is not promoting a narrative. Trump is losing support because of Iran-Israel. Does it mean he is simply another path to globalism?

JTF Truth Good luck to you. Worst I've ever had was -20C and that was cold enough for me.
After 2+ months of the coldest winter since the 70's (4+solid weeks of -40 + another 4 weeks of -40 nights) I'm looking forward to spring. We're already getting 13hrs of daylight. Still light out at 930pm.
In like a Lion - out like a lamb.

I'm most lurking around nowadays and spend less time looking at the screen but being today is March 23, 2026 I felt compelled to contribute to this discourse.

Hope all are well.
