Not of putting the arrogant tyrant(s) to death itself, but of the destruction his (or her/their) rule has done to society. If you look closer into the history and events of the French revolution, millions of innocent people and bystanders where killed in the process that spanned several years. The same thing happend at similiar occasions, like the Russian october revolution, the German "november revolution" in 1918, Mao's revolution, or the aftermath of European colonial powers leaving other East Asian or African countries.
People have not changed to the better since, especially not smarter. I don't expect anything else when the EU + subsequently the main local EU governments collapse.
