If ignorance is truly bliss, then why do so many Americans need Prozac?
Another great bloody big yawn of a needless undertaking by all the usual suspects for all the usual shop worn "reasons"...
Nobody is taking Macron seriously. He has lost the plot with his insane suggestions about sending French troops into the Ukrainian meat grinder....
... It's a shame those people had to go through that. I'm glad they are alive.
Tiabbi is the least of anyone’s worries, he presents a viewpoint badly needed to form a coherent understanding, if only your own, of what the hell...
This looks like the outline of ancient Egypt, not Gaza, at least to me.

Maybe there is a deeper meaning, using the definition of cladding
the act or process of bonding one metal to another, usu. to protect the inner metal from corrosion
One could make the analogy that, that is what politics in the West has become, to protect the inner metal from corrosion. Looks good on the outside but the core is rotting.
As we know fire has the ability to melt the metal and show the inner skeleton for all to see and that is what this tragedy has exposed.
How politicians in the West do business and treat there citizens
Corruption, exploitation, profit, complete disregard for human life, just regarded as tools to further an agenda.
Is it any wonder that May has lost all credibility, not just as a politician but as a human being, she should slink into the shadows (as many politicians in the West should) never to face the light of day.
Hopefully a new face will emerge with more compassion, I believe he is waiting in the wings, maybe the people and Corbyn should take note of the Latin phrase
Carpe Dieum - Sieze the Day
